It would be nice to know if the boosters apply to our individual reputation totals or just the coop total during the event. And Also id the 0/5 will reset after a day or if 5 is the limit for the whole event.

    More questions...

If we activate the 64k gold option for gold boosters, what does the 19 gold booster do? Isn't it redundant to have bot options running at once? Or do we get more of a increase by having both gold boosters for the mission event

Same question for the $$$ option.

Nope, mean Barley. It asked for enough where I'd have to grow two fields of it, or take 6 hours if growing it twice in one field...

Two fields worth either way, still only gets 1 horseshoe...

Attachment not found. Only one horseshoe..... and yes, takes too long to grow barley and have only 1 horseshoe....

That was already answered above by Steffi....

    Hey Volty,

they're added up, just as every other booster (e.g. reasearches and humus on fields), so you get the effect of both at the same time.

    Cheers,

What happens if a member leaves the coop in the middle of the coop challenge? Will his/her points be deducted from the coop total?
  • travel (INT1)travel (INT1) Posts: 25

    Yes, Dashania3.
Those player's points are deducted and won't be back.
We found it the hard way when a traveler of our coop went helping another coop in the middle of a challenge.

What does the 0/5 mean, can you buy the same booster 5 times at the same time. So it would be 75% total to money boosters?

    HI Ria,
What I noticed is that it allows you to buy up to 5x's..then when the timer runs down to a certain amount, you can buy up to a total of 5 again. So for instance a total of 5 hours for the lower $$$ amount and the lowergold option..

Leave it to GGS to find another way for people to want to buy gold. Now people can buy RP to boost their position during the competition? Pretty lame way to get to the top (or try to) and a huge waste of money.

It would appear that the 0/5 resets, so that you can set one for 5 times the duration. You still only get a 30 percent booster if my math is correct. Not 75 percent. From 0 you could start the 1 hour booster for 5 hours and the other one for 5x3:20 or 16:40. Accordingly, during the first 5 hours you get 30 percent. You could then restart the 1 hour module for up to 5 more hours and so on.

Not trying to be a dork but also don't want to hit 5/5 and find out we are out of that booster...Are you saying they will reset and we will have another set of 5?

ok booster expired, counter reset to 0/5 so it explained itself. Thanks for the help!

Yes, the booster resets....not when you use 5, but when it's time expires. Example: If you buy 5 of the 1 hour boosters, it will read "5/5" and you will have a 5 hour countdown bar. After 1 hour, you will have 4 hours left in the countdown and back in the booster menu it will read "4/5." The same goes for the 3:20 version.

Does anyone know if the boat will cycle through "All" of the flower farm products? Like many there are certain things that I simply don't produce, because other things are more economical. Maybe its time to keep some of everything in storage in the barn.

    Hello everybody,
The ship won't be asking for any of the flower shop items right after this update.
However, with these changes, it will also be potentially possible to request these items for other features like the ship and/or other events.

    Regards,
    Steffi

    cons:

1- space is the main issue and also apple orchard is needed more, not much cherry. switch apple and cherry orchards prizes for top 10 co-ops and make cherry 6x6 size too. (like for example: give rank 1 co-op both orchards, and then rank 2-10 co-ops apple orchard instead of cherry orchard at least)
2- individual inside co-op ranking prizes are good but too insufficient to motivate players to compete, and it rather seems to disappoint lower lvl members since they know they have absolutely no chance to win anything at all. the amount of prize (150 seaweed feed) is ok, but giving prize to only 2-3 players in 1 co-op considering that every co-op has at least 2-3 extremely good players, doesn't motivate other members to participate. i suggest giving 1/3 total members prizes, even if little prize like rank 3-10 only 50 seaweed feed for example.

    pros:
1- 6 and half days instead of 5 and half
    2- co-op rp boosters.

    happy farming.

My ship asked for almond muffins and jasmine essence this morning. Frankly, I don't like this, because now I won't be able to fill my ship again for a long time. There's no way I'm gonna give essence yet. They could've at least told us of the changes of the ship when they announced the update.
Nope--no way. It asked me for muffins, aloe and other stuff that no way I'm giving just for some lousy horseshoes and few extra bucks. Wish they'd leave stuff alone on here. Better yet, if they HAVE to do this, they ought to get rid of those two idiotic slots with the stupid "Viking" berries/exotic fruit/etc. and open up those two slots to the stuff we can produce on the regular farms the way it used to be--that way, you'd at least have more of a chance to have some items stored up with fairly normal products.

Not worth the time it takes to grow, process and produce everything where it comes to giving up all the gourmet/flower farm stuff, so for now---buh-bye, Captain Barnacle & Ms. Tentacle. Was fun while it lasted. I've got better things to do with my products than waste it on the ship.

If you actually add it up, the money is still worth it if you chose correctly, not the horseshoes granted, but money is still good. Still a profit every time for me so far. I know right now it is hard, because many haven't produced several of these items for quite awhile, but after a couple days of adding them here and there when you can, you should be able to keep up with the ship just fine.

This of course depends on if it asks things you are able to make. If you don't have an olive orchard and it asks for olives, then it is a little different yet. But to not make almond muffins from time to time when you can, is hard to understand for me. I personally haven't made almond muffins or apple turnovers for months! I've made some already now, and put them on the ship even. Made a good profit! Plus the muffins didn't need the apples, which I needed to donate to the event. Worked out perfectly!

I'm pretty sure I was getting 52XP from honey cream before the update but now I'm getting 45XP. Also, box of soaps was giving 5XP and is now 4XP. That's one less point every 30 minutes. I'm not sure about the others. I know its a petty argument but every blue star counts. :) I'm just curious as to why the devs felt the need to take some XP away?

Edit to add: I have a level 8 flower shop

No it just gives you an extension of time, so if you buy the 1 hour booster 5 times it will run for 5 hours.

It's a bug - the workshop is not supposed to influence this :) Please don't buy a WS just because of this, since it will be fixed. (Same goes for the sometimes erroneous XP amounts).

Co-op members w/ 0 RPs during the challenge:

    A) Won't be awarded the Internal Ranking prizes (seaweed feed). Makes sense - how can you win a competition w/ a score of zero?

    B) Won't be awarded the Cooperative Ranking prizes (top 10 co-ops). Again makes sense - why be rewarded when you didn't help your team

    C) WILL be awarded the Activity prizes. ???

Any comments or feedback on whether these 0 RP players should be awarded the third category prizes? I'm leaning towards the side of No. Even a low level player who earns 6th place on every mission will win some RPs (that's how I got started). I'd like to be able to help motivate some of my co-op members who haven't yet contributed to the challenge - but I don't want to be a total ****** either. (Perhaps even a setting controlled by the leader?)

Other perspectives would be welcomed :) and/or let me know if I'm wrong about how these prizes are awarded

BTW, its the team participation I'm interested in - not so much the RPs

question???? it says to earn as many points as u can thru out the co-op challenge to get top prizes..does this mean that even after a co-op completes the challenge early they have to continue to earn rep points to maintain their status in ranks? or does the completion of challenge tasks mean that is permanent rank even if completed early?

By completing the challenge, do you mean getting 32 million RP for the Trophy deco? If so, it would depend how many coops on your server manage to complete it. Even if you finish early, its still possible another coop could finish during the time limit & get more RP than your coop. Its a pretty tough challenge, I don`t think many complete it.... WTG any that do.

Hi Mystie, I'm on the US server also. I see your co-op is currently ranked #2 (Congrats!) but I think in order to keep that position your members will need to continue earning RP. We still have 4 days left & if your co-op stops or slows down on missions it is very likely another co-op(s) can pass you in the rankings & take that prize. I'm assuming its like the wheel of fortune ranking & it all boils down to who's on top at the end.

Well, I have noticed something disturbing...I checked my rep numbers and it looks like I am being credited for the 70% increase from my machine but the 30% increase we are supposed to receive from the event boosters was missing. Anyone else notice this? I compared the reps earned during the mission, with the increase in my total reps and the increase in my co-op event individual tally.
    Thanks for checking

Thinking more on this, it could be the 30% rep booster is already factored in to our rep result and then the machine adds 70% to the increased total. If that is the case, there would be no way to check if the boosters are working. It just seems to me that the logical place to add the boost is either together with the machine effect or after when the amount is added to the individual event total.

Just received a gold offer this morning, buy 15k gold and receive 250,000 reputation points for your team. So GGS's take on "earning" reputation points is different to mine, is there anything in this game that cant be bought? Very disappointed by the latest GGS offer, so many groups out there trying hard working as a team to advance in the competition and these incompetent fools offer up more ways for others to cheat the system. Its not hard to figure out why so many people are leaving this game.
