Strange I always think its one of the easiest lol..... Its the Asian one that makes me crazy, feeding them pesky piggies 8|

Gotta totally agree with Scissors, the pigs r always so hungry like if they had never eaten before :D But the next time, it's gonna be a piece of cake. Thanks GGS for the compensation in the form of seaweed feed :D

Still.. a lot of ppl find the Hawaiian event kinda hard (I personally consider it the second hardest right after Asia). It requires much more time and effort than UFO or camping. Fortunately I'm almost done (lvl 109), phew :)

I'm doing the hardest difficulty on my US game right now... Piece of cake! Near halfway through the final step of the event and still days left! Shells did take awhile, but I used a lot of event seeds, and a LOT of wheat. Wheat puts out 40 shells, so my 5 fields of wheat went 4 times (one went 5 times) and just about every time had shells from the harvest. Helped a lot!!

This one and UFO one are the ones I consider the easiest, Here's to Nature is worst (IMO).

I agree the many many feedings of the pigs is annoying, but the other tasks are all quickly done, so I have the time to deal with the pigs without worry on Asian event.

Yep all depends on how your farm is built. I finished this one on Friday. Asia I hated. For a long time I had a lvl 1 apple orchard that I swapped out for an extra Pig Sty JUST for Asia... but no more. Thankfully (I guess) because of the Island, I don't even need +78's anymore (Though since Hawaii has been so rare because of the Island and seashell confusion, I did it). So from here on, I am doing the week long events on easiest until I get the achievement maxed.

When i used to do the events, i always completed the events, yes some are hard , but I recommend if you want to complete them, look at why they are hard for you and tailor your farm around it, example is when cherries are requiired i use to build temporary cherry orchards, this can be said of pig stys, i had up to 9 pigstys on my fartm during those events that needed tham then tore them right down afterwards, i had to temporarily get rid of decos but did it so i could finish them in a timely manner.

Yep, planning during the events is crucial and hiding decos & building something else instead is part of the strategy. I didn't complete only one event (from all of them - since the very first one). The first UFO - I remember it like it was yesterday. Got no idea what level I was but I got the task to begin production of milk 12 times.. and.. I had only one cowshed :D Even though I had like 3 to 4 days left, I knew it's impossible to make it to the end (without using gold). So right after this task came up I started building more and more and more cowsheds and now it's like one of the easiest tasks there could be, of course also thanks to the goats.

But now with one event right after another it's kinda boring, I got almost no use for the decos (ok, still got a few of 74s that need to be replaced) but still, the rewards are fine (I mean better than nothing, huh? :D). So I really enjoy the island/viking farm even though there's nothing else but this joy. At least for now - the horse ranch is one huuuuuuuge joke :)

But let's get back to the Hawaiian event. It takes a lot of time to collect all those coconuts, seashells, flowers but the thing I do appreciate about it is that you don't deliver any products (like in camping and fairy-tale event). On the other hand I don't like the Hawaiian decos - k, they're nice but that's it. I'm sorry but have you ever seen a beach with an umbrella right next to the field or anything on your farm? :D

The problem with the events is that they have made them ordinary, as in every week, nothing to look forward to, with everything they have added I now am just doing the farm only and do not even try any of the extra stuff as in the weekly events and temp farms.

People have stated that Big Farm is what they went to after facebook added all the extra things to Farmvillle, maybe its time for a new game to come around to replace big farm.

Only a bad engineer blames the tools. You can't finish the event at the hardest level, why blame the game for it and not look at your gaming style?

Just for the heck of it i waited til last night to start the hawaiian event, i am already on task 4, grannted it is the lowest level because i wanted to just get a few rewards but that is besides the point, i went into it blind this time, i did not remember what was required

These 5-task "quests" are seriously idiotic.
I have finished maybe one, cause of the amounts you have to gather crops.

Seriously, i have a life, not only for playing this 24/7.

Actually it is a strategic game and...i get dizzy..i think it fits for males bcoz their minds r more strong and sensible...but putting this aside, it does not mean it is not possible for females..anyways this last step of Hawaiian is very hard and ...i made some silly mistakes which ate up my time but still i am not getting enough flowers from corn(5min) ,..all mostly i have been doing is growing corn and making chickn feeds aty max ..SEA SHELLS were easy to get. I collected most of them from corns..but this last task is disappointing..i wasted a loooot of time in it still... sigh..i might turn up into zombie or may be a Tarzan(very strong jungle hero).

Janie, I am having trouble completing the Hawaiian event also. Not because of my play but because the game will not give the flower blossoms but 1/3 of the time on pigs, eggs and fields.

Some plants on the fields are better droppers than other plants.
For flowers to the nr 6 task in the Hawaii event I'll suggest using yellowhibiscus or violets (if you have some of them)
    - else roses.
Here's a plant dropping help site for the future for several events, including the Hawaii event.

2/3 on roses, 2/3 on apples, 2/3 on cherries, 2/3 on milk. 1/3 on corn, cabbage, special wheat, pigs and eggs. Did not do regular wheat because at these ratios it was not worth the risk to invest 7 hours to find out at the risk of only 80 wheat from 6 fields, even at 160 wheat it was not worth the time.

absolutely agreed ..i had noticed it too bcoz today i played it a lot and i was hesitating planting other things bcoz sometimes they wont give u any thing...the drop rates for every event r diffrnt..so strange..and who know they may change it time to time juust to make it more challenging...

Wheat is ok when you anyway not can play for many hours, e.g. for sleeping, job and so on.
But else you're right RogueFarmer wheat is not good when you are online for longer time playing. :)

I played for 18 hours out of the last 24 to collect blossoms and still had to use all seaweed humus, seaweed fertilizer and 1000 gold in addition to 750k game dollars to collect those things.....I'm going to take a nap, lol.

    NOT COOL GG

whenever i do an event i find the information of whats required by looking through questions about the game and planning whats needed . for the seashell part i found growing corn to be the best and easiest way to get through it faster and dont be worried about selling corn to grow more and harvest more. also if you know you need apples for the next part dont harvest them if your not far from completing the part your doing

Janiee.... I have found the majority of great players on this game are female, so I hope by saying "i think it fits for males bcoz their minds r more strong and sensible" you are not implying that females aren't. Because that would be offensive.

I agree with Yakoska. This has nothing to do with male or female abilities, just whether or not you think strategically and plan accordingly. Both men and women can do that well. I would never agree with the statement that men have minds that are "more strong and sensible."
That said, back to the original topic: I finish the Asian event super easily, no problem. But this Hawaiian event is like pulling teeth. OUch! I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle outside of this gaming, but it doesn't seem you can finish the events so easily unless you're already a very high level or you play around the clock.
I also agree that the events have become too frequent; there's too much going on at once. I would like some "downtime" just to develop my farm according to my own interests rather than having to adapt it every week for the current event. It's like the pressure of the immediate tasks for the events outweigh the original attraction I had to the game, which was the opportunity to design a farm with my creativity involved. Other than using my creative powers for problem solving and strategic planning, my creativity has been pretty much put on hold to address the stress of fulfilling the demands of "current events."
So I've decided to hold back from now on and just do as I please. If I fulfill some stages of an event in the process, I will gain a few benefits along the way. But otherwise, it just seems the competitions/events are controlling my farm development rather than my personal interests. I still love the game, I'm just going to avoid getting distracted by events, and new islands, and new horses, and new tractors....Maybe when I got my farm established as I like, I'll be better grounded for the "games" (rather ironic).
    Happy Farming y'all!
PS. Thanks to all those who contribute to the Event strategies, suggestions, and spreadsheets. Those really do help!

Janiee, for someone claiming to be peacefull, you have quite an attitude. I suggest you tone down a bit.

Why on éarth would women not be able to play a strategic game? Do you think all the women here who play this game just do it to decorate? You are not stating a fact, you are giving a sexist assumption.

im level 136 and play the game 24/7 and couldnt complete the camping mission on the hardest level,i rely too much on wot i get from the game instead of wot i can do myself, its a lottery wot i get when gathering say map pieces !!!!! not enjoyable,i only do these to upgrade deco 74 to deco 78 !!!!!!

You are stating your own perception of what you think is a fact... Fact is, anyone who gets anywhere worth mentioning in this game is using strategy/logic of some sort. I know I am definitely using strategy!

Don't really care about decorations...they give me happiness, that is what I care about. Though I admit some are kind of cool looking, really want that koi pond and tractor. Promise you this game is not about "decorating" to me!

Whether you are level 136 or level 50 you should be able to complete the missions, even the highest level, you should ask yourself why you can't. If you use strategy like people are saying, it should not be a problem, yes not using gold
