Cooperate Challenge

Love the Cooperate Challenge, however not everyone participates. It would be nice, if at the end of the Challenge it would list who participated. Also, at the end it should show how many reputation points each member earned during the event. One more idea is the top member who earned the most points should get a special prize. Thanks, Melissa

Also loving the co-operative challenge, would love to have a co-op ranking for it though, to see how we all did.

I can't agree with having rankings for the Cooperative Challenge. Although it might be interesting for those who participated, it could also foster some resentment among members. To be perfectly honest, I'm getting kinda tired of all this ranking stuff anyway. Why take a relaxing farming game and make it so that player's feel pressured to perform? I know, some will say that you don't have to do it if you don't want to, that you have a choice. It just seems that when you opt out of things in this game, you miss out on so much more.

I don't see why it would foster resentment, if you don't participate then it shouldn't bother you. We have overall and weekly rankings on individual XP and reputation points, and overall co-op rankings, why not a ranking for the co-op challenge? It's not like rankings don't already exist. It doesn't have to be a pop up screen that displays it to all and sundry, but a click on drop down screen where you have to go and find it, that way those who weren't interested could just not check it out. Like the achievement points rankings, that I just ignore. :)

I hate that crap cooperate challenge, because it is so unfair. :(
    - all coops have to collect the same number of rep. points for each reward, what the coop have 1, 2, 5, or more than 60 members...
and only coops with more than 60 members have a chance to get the trophy.

How do one know if the other members are doing anything at all? I'm on part 5 now...

I also would like to see that ALL performances and helps gets counted for in the coop. I've done as much as possible for my co-op, but nothing shows except gold and dollars. For the rest - nothing shows even if I know I've done all I could. I've spent hours to level up asap sp I can be a good member and help - and then it doesn't show... I'm talking about these spades... Can't find anywhere something that tells me what it takes to get them at all.

Feel a lil bit puzzled by it. There should be more info somewhere one can read for those that's interested in knowing. (I'm really curious...)

In our co-op we are 7 members.. So what chance do we have? There's like a few days and 50 steps? And the gradient are very steep.

I like the coop challenge..it would be nice if GGS gave us an easier way to see who is participating. Until they do I've been making a spreadsheet where I put the total # of rep points a player begins with, then subtract it from the total at the end..Its a bit of a pain but it works...take care..good luck in the mission event!

How do you know what the others are doing???

How much each one CAN participate with is due to level and time a person have. Far from evryone have the time and shouldn't be put down, but it would be good to see that a members efforts DOES show in the participation with those spades - somehow. It's frustrating to work like mad - taking time and it doesn't show...

The spades is an indicator which tells you how much each member participate in the latest coop project.
Notice that, new members will not have any indicator before the coop have finished at least 2 projects .
Also notice that, the spade indicators are relative to the players levels, so a little farm also can get many spades in a projects like the big farms can.
    - I have myself make 5 spades and get the Fork and showel indicator in a coop with level 100 farms, when my us farm only was a little farm, and I also have seen other players doing the same with small farms. :)
In our co-op we are 7 members.. So what chance do we have? There's like a few days and 50 steps? And the gradient are very steep.

Your chance to get the trophy?
    - Absolutly none, don'r even dream about it before you have at least 60 members in your coop.

I like that everyone can get something from the challenge, and I like that not everyone gets everything from the challenge.

It also takes a lot of Co-op members to complete all the researches. Its good to have something to grow into, strive for. I bet the two Co-op's that did get the trophy, didn't waltz over the line either.... Hard work, for a good reward is great in my opinion.

Yes, it fosters competition which can be bad, but on the other side, if everyone got everything, what would work for?

I agree with you! And your right the two coops that got all the rewards didn't just waltz over the line. I'm in both those coops...We just made it on both. Hours to spare...

@ Brian. Thanks! That makes sense. Pity it's not stated anywhere within the farm help. These are things that could puzzle people and maybe even get them to think something's wrong. lol Not me. But i'm that type of really curious person and whatever it is - I wanna know. :p

It's also easier to be of help when you know facts. Btw. Does coop projects and research counts the same? I've been within one project so far. On the other hand. I got here first in mid Nov... But I like this sort of games To build and create.

And when it comes to that coop "thingy" that's going on right now. That explains why the others in the coop doesn't seem to bother very much. I don't blame them. :)

    Once again. Thank you Brian!

Yes, me too. It would also be nice for players looking for another co-op to know which ones are still active and performing well as a team. Now, I see many co-ops that have completely fallen asleep, but are still hiring people.

Sorry, I have forgotten to add the quote:)
I mean I would also like to see a ranking of the co-ops according to their performance.

It would be good if posts from Co-ops that now doesn't exist anymore or is more or less "dead" is taken out. It was a real nightmare to find a co-op for me that had my own language and not absolute demands on adding this or that. I help and donate - whenever I can instead.

Also. Looking in that thread - there's not everywhere you see what server they're on - one have to open up each post in order to find out (with a few exceptions), so it's very hard to find the ones you would likr to look closer to.

One, not too good thing, is that the task of finding a co-op comes in right away when you just start your farm. By that time you basically know absolutely nothing about the game, and there's not many co-ops that want to accept someone that's just started up.

I think there should be more information to newcomers first and that that task comes in when people start to get "the hang of it all". I would say not before Level 20. I think I were on Level 6 or 7 when I started to chase a co-op...

    Back to thread sunject:
And most of all! This challenge is really hard. A small co-op like the one I belong to doesn't stand a chance at all - obviously. We have now approx 91 700 pts of which I've done around 60.000 of myself.. That should tell you all. And that's not fun. I do these missions because I need the certificates for my garage.

There should be something for small co-ops as well I think. :p Where the big ones doesn't compete. lol This challenge should only be visible to co-ops that actually do stand some kind of chance to get it all.

I mean. An Olympic athlete would not compete to a beginner or someone only at lower grades... Or vice versa. I do miss nuances (spelling?) in these things.

not sure if this was already answered I haven't read all above posts but one really good idea that my coop leader did to keep track was at the begging of the event have everyone in ur coop go to "my village" and highlight over there farm it will tell u what there rep points are which ofcourse u would have to write down to keep tack of progress , how active each member is etc

    hope that helped a little

You can see in weekly ranking, how many reputation points your members have earned.

I agree thats the best way, but it would be perfect if the event started on a Monday when then weekly totals reset.
