takes ages to collect horse shoes to train them. Then you you have to equally train them in all areas and takes HOURS PER TRAINING SESSION
Help: sell things to the ship to earn horseshoes. TIP: dont buy things in farm management to earn horseshoes when the amount of things you have to buy/price per unit is high: i.e. 365 cherries

Besides it is not real money, just farm cash and i can make the money back iun the flower shop
We should get manure for fertilizer and there should be prize money for winning competitions in the form of cash or gold that we should get along with golden horseshoes or the golden horseshoes should just be discontinued altogether.
I didn't even realize in the beginning that I could increase the amount of horseshoes I use in training to get it to intensive training. Yeah right! I was winning just as much before as now, maybe even more. The "competitors" increase at the same level as I do, so it makes no difference at all! I'm going to stop using my horseshoes for intensive until they figure out what they're going to do with the stable. It's ludicrous right now to throw away all our horseshoes to compete with imaginary horses where the computer can randomly decide who wins.
At least if we were competing with other players' horses, it would be more fair. That's coming "soon" I guess, so I'll hold off until then.
THAT's how to win? Really? What a crock!
I guess that's why I just lost all three, because I've been stupidly training evenly across the board! Do the devs have their heads up their butts?

I only tried it because the little info that we do have says each event requires 2 of the 3 skills & it did seem to make a difference. Now because we can only go to level 10, mine are alll getting evened up again & I hardly win at all anymore. At least when we have more than 1 horse we can train each one for a different event, guess we just have to make do with our 1 multievent horse for now lol ^^
Of course I can't promise any immediate changes, but be assured they really appreciate to know what's bothering you.
The last time the island came up I did NOT spend any gold and barely made it through part 1.
One last thing. I wish the architect was on call in farm management again. I have things I still need to upgrade on my main farm and I swear he hides down the road and waits until I have something else going one one of the other farms before he pulls in the driveway, then leaves before that project is done and I can get him started on a job.
I agree with you about the architect, he should come much more often, at least a couple times a week if not more, I've needed houses built for ages and he always catches me just when I am doing something out of the blue.
The first time at the island I really tried, but it cost too much, the second time I just did the first level and then just planted crops and sold them. You don't get money from planting crops and selling them you get shells, lots of shells so just keep on planting on as many fields as you have. I got rid of the orchards from level one and the animals and everything except houses and fields once I completed level one. Just did crops and sold them and I got a lot of shells. More than I will probably ever use I even bought deco's with some of them. Oh also the drinks with mangoes produce a lot of shells if you just want to do that over and over again. Just pick what you want to do and you will be successful in your OWN way, to heck with the game.
As long as you get shells for seeds that.s all that matters and for the boat I never give the boat my fruit from the farm, just the greenhouse fruit, I give enough to get the cash prize what is it 171,000 or whatever which compensates me for giving corn, cabbage, dandelions, eggs, pigs or milk. Sometimes lavender or wheat though that is expensive so I try not to give the boat anything worth a lot of money.
I have enough horseshoes to train my horse and I figured out it's best not to train intensively. check your stable stats to see what the horse needs and do just enough to keep it upgrading at a decent level [ie don't be spending more than a few hundred horseshoes at a time] and do that for each type of training and take it to competition. I have won more than I have lost there. I am slowly upgrading my training areas to level 3. I have heard of people upgrading their horse to level 7 and losing competitions. You can't just take it all the way at once. The setup wasn't meant for that. You have to do it gradually. Train in smaller amounts at each type and then compete until you lose. That is another thing I figured out. After a successful competition check details and see what your odds are of winning again. If they are good, do another round. Hope this helps.
Rant over. Have a good day.[/QUOTE]
Thanks! That's a good idea.
Anyhoo... I'll quit derailing the thread.
"Old MacDonald had a horse
E-I-E-I-Yawn....zzzzzzz"
I have enough gold horseshoes to upgrade last arena and im 80 short of having all 3 arenas at 5/5/5, im using build slot for island at moment so haven't bothered upgrading last arenas yet.
strange thing was that i wasnt winning anything until all training was at 10/10/10 then i started to win more often...work that out....most of the time i forget about horses these days but when i do plat i usually win i every second go but im so bored with horses that i dont bother much
What does any of this do for my farm except suck the cash? Like a vacuum stuck on high speed.
Sincerely,
Watching paint dry
