Bored with the horses? Nah, they're almost as interesting as watching paint dry. Almost.

Have you seen the 10 hour paint drying video posted about the horses

Yup. As for confusing I second that. So far it appears as though training has very little effect on whether you win, how many you win in a row or if you lose. Another fail for GGS.

Yes I watched all 3 + 10 mins of paint drying . Saw more action watching that than watching horse LOL

I know it's early but there was SO MUCH hype about just wait for the horses, everything will be wonderful and fabulous and it will all make sense...!!!!

And really, for what? I get to watch my horse (which I cannot choose the color or gender or anything) stand around for four hour stretches of time and then "compete" - which I cannot see, so who knows what he's actually up to :p - in the click of my mouse and then it's all over.

Oh, or I could upgrade my TEENY TINY (seriously??? with all that space available????) riding areas. Except I don't see the upgrading either.

    Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooring, yup. :(

aaabbb1 explained the training quite well in another thread. At least, it totally "unconfused" me about it. It is still as boring as before, but at least I understand it now. But you are right.... what a downer this ranch is for now

I am SO disappointed. Loved horses since a little girl (though discovered I'm allergic to them when I tried to learn to ride for real!) Joined this game on the promise of having a ranch, owning horses, training and competing. Waited for months and got a 'damp squib' (i.e. rotten firework!) Guess I'm a bit naïve when it comes to on-line games :(

It is just off doing its thing to the side. I use it as a distraction for myself. Bored? not really

I concur w/you about the horses, lesley52 I am confused even after reading the directions on it.

lol pinfo42, did you watch the grass growing video? I couldnt get past a min of the painting, I dont dare to watch the grass. lol

I havent put much time in to them, so not sure yet if I am completely bored with it or not.

It is still in the early days and I haven't put much time in yet. I feel like they, at this point, would not keep me hooked on the game and I feel like more features are needed to make it more engaging, even some animations would help make it more connected to the rest of the game.

Completely bored with 'My Little Pony' too. No visuals except a horse standing still. And the visuals for competing are even worse: the same lame texts scrolling across the screen. After all the hype, I am so disappointed.

Not exactly bored....yet. Perhaps the programmers will read these posts and make an adjustment or two. I'd be happy if we could pet our horse, like we can our dogs. Better too if the horse would at least walk around like the dogs do. And I'd like to easily see my horseshoe count. I'll run out before I even realize I'm running low. Any idea what we'll do with the golden horseshoes we get from competing?

Is there something wrong with the Horse Ranch? i'm upgrading.....but not much is happening. I'm racing to win horseshoes just to upgrade. I just don't see the point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I missing something? or is there a glitch in the game?

The horses are almost as big a waste of time as the island. On second thought, NOTHING could be even close to as bad as the island. Oh, yeah, I forgot... it's all to make you buy more gold. :P

There is one good thing about the horse farm, you do not need dollars to upgrade it, just win as amuch as you can in the challenges

I just don't see how it will make my farm move forward in any way.....there is no money to win, no gold to win

The golden horseshoes are used to upgrade for now. I think eventually you will also be able to add more horses and other things.

I find the horse ranch to be boring. I thought the tractors & missions were boring so I don't bother with them anymore. I think I may just ignore the horse too. Honestly, if my entire farm environment disappeared overnight & I was back to my 3 simple farms you wouldn't hear any complaints from me....

The Horse Ranch is here to stay, though is currently just a basic version to get everyone used to how it works, there is more to come. ^^

Hmm, I think that you missunderstood things. You CAN NOT buy any seeds wiht horseshoes. Its vice versa - you need seeds to buy horseshoes. The horseshoes can only be spend on horse ranch. There is no other use for them for now.

So far it's pretty underwhelming. No gold, no Money and no exp won, so I don't care about winning races. Nothing much to do but train, train, train and hope it gets better at some point.
