Accepting Co-op Applications

It is agreed in our co-op that only 2 people are responsible for accepting applications to join! However at least one of our deputies keeps accepting applications without the knowledge of our leader(s). These tend to be lower level applicants who would not be suitable for our co-op and we have to message and explain to them that they have to be removed. Despite pleas from our leader, somebody keeps accepting people without permission!!! When an applicant is accepted is there any way of find out who in fact lets them join? If not could the option be included in future updates????

As far as I know, unfortunately there is no way to find out who accepted the application without that person admitting it; especially if the newly accepted member was just accepted without any vetting questions. Still maybe in the future ask the new member if anybody talked to them? It's worth a try. And feel free to direct those lower level players to The Odd Ones, provided they speak English and are over 25 years old - they won't be a low level for ever and if you take them early, you can mould them... ;)

My co-op too has only 2 who are meant to accept (or refuse) applications. We talk to them first as like elunia we want English speaking adults and who can respond to mails

We have more deputies than that because we get through from 3 to 7 projects a day. All are agreed in advance so if the leader and vice leader are not about there should still be someone there who can start the next one

Knowing who accepted could help but I think a better solution would be to have more granularity in duty allocation. Tick boxes for if they are allowed to accept applications, another to allow project starting and another for researches. Any mix of the 3 can be ticked or left unticked

Are you sure that deputies are accepting them?

There's a fairly new feature under 'Cooperative Settings' that opens the co-op to allow players to join without needing to go through the application / acceptance process. You might want to ask your leader to make sure those Settings are configured as desired.

That's right, if the setting is on "Open cooperative", then anyone can join your cooperative. I would check it every day just to make sure someone hasn't changed it to that.

demote him. Let him know why in plain english. When he decides to behave, then promote again.
