Something about island and a ship (again)

If only i have known that i cannot fill my ship ever again, after i open the island.
I would have ever opened it. Too late now, i know. I have tried to look for the info about it. Is there anything that tells, or gives a warning to us (i mean before the island came) that you can't fill ship anymore if you open the island.
Before i had a full ship 3 times a day. I know that there is others too, that don't like about that they can't fill ship anymore. I have asked about it.
We can have horseshoes, yes, and we don't know what's going to be with horses and so on......

I have an other account in other server, in there i can have horseshoes even i didn't go to island at all. And i'm not going to open island next time in that account. Ship asks only 4 items and i can fill it every time.

I liked he way island looks, it was beautiful. But now i regret i ever opened it. My mistake, who told me to be so curious...

Sorry i talk same thing again, i know there is many threads about ship and island.

My point is to ask, if anyone has seen any "warnings" about that we cannot fill ship after opening island???? And i mean before it came. I tried to read everything i found, before and after, i don't remember to seen anything like that.

I have to say, that i really don't like surprises, i hope we can have a lot more information BEFORE something new is coming (like horses, many of us is waiting)

Plse don't state that you can't fill your ship anymore (it might confuse other players!) - because you still can!
Maybe not all 6 loads if you ran out of shells/tropical seeds lately, but you still can fill the other 4 loads and the ship will sail eventually (even if it is only after 6 hours).... So you still will gain some horseshoes from it. Even if it is not the amount you used to.

And yes, it was stated by GGS on beforehand, that the ships' menu would change as soon as the new Greenery would get operational.

I am sorry if you do not agree with the development of the game, but this is the whole backbone of the game: to figure out your strategy, facing all the challenges, and by working yourself through all the difficulties. ^^

The official announcement said the change to the ship was permanent. 4 slots for permanent farm products and 2 for tropical fruits

If you have run out of tropical fruits then get some more seeds when the trader returns
If you have spent all your shells then you will have to wait until the island event returns

In the meantime there is nothing stopping you filling the other 4 slots.

Filling all 6 slots gives a BONUS. Bonus means something extra for doing something extra. It is something to strive for but it doesn't ruin the game if you cannot achieve the bonus every time. Nice admittedly but not essential

I think all the OP wants is the same opportunity to get the ship every 6 hours that players with tons of seeds have, instead of every 12 hours. Not an unreasonable gripe.

Jiesta, She can not fill the whole ship. Obviously. Logical fact: filling four things doesn't complete the shipment. Therefore she doesn't get as many out as she normally would.

Yes, i know i can fill 4 slots. But not the whole ship. I couldn't have enough shells, be cause i almost run out dollars.... so i was only growing oranges in island. In my co'op only gold players can fill the ship, all 6 slots. (yes it's a choise, i'm not talking about gold buying now) But eventually even they cannot fill the ship, unless they have millions of shells and seeds.
I know there was announcement about ship change is permanent.
But was anywhere some kind of "warning" that eventually you will run out of shells and seeds?
If i had known that i wouldn't open the island at all. Like i told, i have an other farm in other server. It was level 29 when the island came. I didn't open the island at all, and i can fill all 4 slots, and ship sails away.
And i can still have horseshoes.

Yes, i'm so disappointed in whole island and ship...
I told, that it is hard to tell in english, what i want to say. I really tried to read everything and i understand almost everything. I was just thinking if there was something that i didn't notice. So, ws there or wasn't there a "warning" about that we can't fill all 6 slots anymore??? Not after we run out shells and seeds.

It really is "stupid" to wait 6 hours to see the ship sail, when an other farm ship sails right away....

Many players in the co-op I play in have the same problem. I did not open the Island, nor the Airport, and am so glad that I didnt. However, I feel it very unfair to my co-op friends that I can send my ship away with just 4 items and they have to wait for 6hrs before theirs will sail.

P.S. Anybody want to buy some horseshoes - if the fiasco with the island farm and the greenhouse is anything to go by, I will not be unlocking the ranch either.

Getting new tropical fruit seeds each time the island comes around is not trivial. So yes there should have been a STONG WARNING BEFORE that the ship would take a 12 hour turn around for evermore, if a player opened the Island. I would have chosen not to open it, despite being high level. The old ship was FUN and now this new ship its NOT FUN!

People are quitting because of this, and no wonder.

I was lucky enough to have made 7.5 million seashells & converted to lot into seeds, what I have noticed is the ship wants to dispatch higher amounts of tropical free, not sure when we'll get the island again & rebuild my stocks of seashells.
To get the ship away quickly I reset the tropical fruit to lowest amount & try & string out my seeds for as long as I can.
I don't like the new ship either, the old one was a lot better.

You can adjust the amount of fruit you send with the arrows next to the fruit shipment (left and right)

I guess I kind of knew that I would have to start making fruit if I wanted to fill the ship based on how the ship always asked for things I was capable of making even before I actually had those things. I was asked for flower farm items as soon as it was technically possible for me to make them. I wasn't always able to provide say, cherries, to the old ship because cherries are expensive to buy. So if I didn't have enough cherries I wasn't going to spend more than the 120,000 bonus the ship would give me in order to buy them. So the ship would sit for 6 hours because I didn't have cherries. I assumed it would be the same with the fruit. I don't think there was an explicit warning but it was an assumption based on prior knowledge of how the ship operated.
To me, not opening the airport would be more of a "tips and tricks" type of thing that gets passed along by other players looking for a way to get out of making fruit. It wouldn't be something the official announcements would include because the official announcements are about how to play the new additions to the game- not how to avoid it.
