HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA just goes to show that they definitely can't please everyone at the same time. I'm actually getting use to the tree being there and when I go to other co-op members farms to water their trees I still get directly taken to their tree so at the end of the day I don't think it will be a big deal.

I see a lot of complaining about the new options for the coop, and not much attention to having 3 new projects. Is anyone pleased with any portion of the update? Hey how about we have a new event for Halloween, personally I really excited to see what the new event is all about.

Believe it or not....others are allowed to post their likes & dislikes. It seems to me that most of your posts are a negative response in one way or another. If you don't have anything constructive to post then maybe you shouldn't post at all!!

Right, just in case it gets buried underneath complains about the tree, I am pushing it to the front and waiting for response from Latten, or any other official, please! :-)

Latten, thank you very much for clarifying this point. However, if I may I would like to address a matter of quantities of new collectibles needed. 1105 gardening gloves for "Dandelion Hero" or 2550 mixing bowls for "Marvellous muffins" at ability level 1 ??? ;( Forgive me for saying that, but these quantities are insane. Please, please tell me there was a typing mistake made? If that much is needed at such a low level, what quantities will be demanded for ability level 5??? 170 feed scoops for "Better Than Competition" is more like it, so I am guessing it should be 110 gardening gloves and 255 mixing bowls, just a typo... Please confirm! Thank you! :)

As far as I know, the numbers are correct, but we will adjust them if they're not working as intended, of course. Don't forget the achievements are supposed to be a long term goal, not to be done within hours :)

I'd like to know about number of collectibles... Aren't achievements totally different thing... ?

One other thing to consider is we got collectible and the new projects at the same time. Its entirely reasonable to think that Co-ops just reaching that point have a period of time where they are getting the collectibles with no where to use them.

This point also, sort of address the Muffins project as well. Yes lvl 1 muffins looks terrible compared to lvl 5! Milk, but maybe we should be comparing it to lvl 1 milk? Not that I recall what it's numbers were.

All in all, for me a mixed update. I don't care about the tractors, though I do like seeing who chose what when I water. I do think the flag should be near the Co-op tree, after all, that's really the only place we spend a lot of time looking at other people's farms. The Co-op projects are a mixed bag, but I think time will have to tell on them. They definitely add some complexity at the moment, but I'm not sure they add enough to change the Eggs, egg, eggs, feed, eggs, eggs, eggs, feed, etc strategy that seem prevalent at the top of the food chain. That said I do think a co-op focused on Almond Muffins would be an interesting experiment.

Many thanks for your response, Latten! :) No, I don't expect to be able to get my hands on all the necessary collectibles in an hour or two, I know it takes time, but those quantities really seem excessive! Right, O.K., lets wait and see...

Sorry to repeat a post, but apparently the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and there have been no answers to it which I have seen. not going to sift through every thread to maybe find one. What is up with not receiving any collectibles out of the garden?

Well, they just drop as they should ... maybe not as often as on the main farm, but I for one never expected them to; and as Latten said: Don't forget the achievements are supposed to be a long term goal, not to be done within hours.
    I have 12 scoops now ...

that is excellent how many of them came from your gardens?
and what kind of achievements are you all talking about?
Ok I looked at your answer so it looks like you are the only one who I have came across so far that has any collectibles come out of their garden. I'm pretty sure between the players ive asked and my gardens themselves something should have popped up. So which made me believe it is like a transporter. You get them only once in a great while. 2 problems with that, 1 you have gotten quite a few of them to consider them to drop like transporters and 2 we need an awful lot of them if this is their drop rate. I am not new and understand the game, so i guess my question still stands, what is up with the gardens, moderator please?

that makes it only wors at lvl1 milk you needed only a few Thousand milk compair that with the 200,000 needed now for muffin....gues what lvl5 needs probably round 400,000 or even more?

    really redicules

ok with achievments you ment collectables

but if that is the statement from the developers of the game i suggest that the developers start to play the game themselves to see how wrong they are. over and over again the updates shows how little the developers know about what the players really want and need. (The Island was one of the few really nice changes in mine opinion)

Coop projects are done with 4 or 5 projects a day by the top coops. that means that every day this new projects could be started..... with that said its clear why the drop rate is so low and the amounts needed are so high...gold gold gold to buy the collectabels

coops is the most important part of the game for most people and the game does very little for that part of the game

the fact that all the top coops have allready long done all there research and we waited 1 year for new projects is clear on that

I think that there might be a bug with their dropping. As I have been playing all day due to havng a lot of time after an operation and have finally only received one meager scoop. This balance doesn't seem right somehow compared to the large number of gloves and mixing bowls I have already collected.

You mean to tell me that my coop needs 1235 gardening gloves? After 2 days of harvests on my Gourmet farm, I've only collected eight!!! It doesn't take a calculator to see that something isn't right. :(

after a day and half, give or take of harvesting, I've gotten 92 Gloves. As for scoops, yes, there are usually some collectibles that are rarer than others. The new collectibles pretty much follow the current GGS trend. They feel the game is at the right balance at a certain point... say the Hard level of events, or the old collectibles. But people wanted more. So they added Hardest which is NOT in anyway shape or form, cost effective. And the new Collectibles and Co-op projects... same deal.

And that's fine, I get that. My disappointment stems from my own hopes that they would make something other than all eggs all the time, more viable. I guess time will tell on the Muffin thing, but it appears priced out of reach.

That sounds about right, but that's because you're at a high level and have more almond orchards. For coops with lower level players and less developed Gourmet farms, the high number of collectibles needed just doesn't make sense. And we're only talking ability level one!

I just want to add that the member of my coop with the most developed Gourmet farm at this point has collected only 48 gloves. At this drop rate, it will take him almost a month to get the required 1235. And he's very active. Some tweaking of the numbers may be in order.

I have a concern about the main farm collectibles for the new projects. I only have access to information about the first two projects, but both of them require Teamwork. Since in the past each collectible was matched with 3 projects, it seems excessive to match any with more than one of the new projects. Especially when you consider that Teamwork is already in short supply. Plus apples, eggs, and patty cake all use Teamwork more efficiently. Are these new projects really worth it? I'm curious to know what others think about this.

some people are saying with tree out of siht they will forget to w\ater the way I remember is feeding the dog at the same time as they both have same count down

I agree this is a great way to remember to water your own tree. Unfortunately it doesn't give any indication of when it needs to be harvested. In that 8 hour window a lot of members can come and go, leaving an unharvested tree unwatered for the day. I know from past experience it does make a difference to the coop as a whole.

    New projects are a joke.
Not specific to the 2d farm.
    Not imaginative.
Using the same pool of collectables without anything on the 2d farm dropping those items.

    Try again, please.

Well, the new collectables also can come from the co-op tree too!! I just got 2 gloves and 2 scoops from my tree's harvest today. ;)

Though I must also say, GenuineJodi, with the amount of collectables needed for the new projects...why wouldn't we want some main farm collectables too? It seems it would be far harder if the new projects only used gourmet farm collectables!! I'm glad it is a mix.

It will take awhile to gather the necessary pieces for the new projects, but I'm very happy to get new projects!

The following is the only project my coop can do "Dandelion Hero", first off, the name includes the word Dandelion, that is the first clue it is only a gourmet farm project, second it has 3 different collectibles
Gardening Gloves, Teamwork, and transporter. Guess what,- the Gardening gloves do indeed, come from the Gourmet Farm. Nuff Said

We asked for a steak and got a bone.
The could have had unique collectables and unique missions specifically for the g-farm.
Instead the whipped out a small number of missions that are not specific to the farm and a small number of collectables, which by the way require main farm collectables to be any good.

This was requested a year ago.
I believe this does not reflect a year's worth of planning and work.
I'd go so far as to suggest this could have been done in a day.

    I am disappointed.

i agree that not a lot of collectible from the goourmet farm are involved. So far, 1 out of 3 on the first project that my coop has been exposed to. The least that there should have been is 2
