Nah, I reckon those discount offers are completely random. If you would really like that particular handbook, it is always available in the library for just a tad bit more. Enjoy.

I've been offered sale prices on quite a few of the gourmet farm boosters, so probably the goat one will come along sooner or later - it's just a matter of waiting for it, if you have the patience. All the sales I've seen for the gourmet farm boosters have been 10% off, compared to the main farm sales that always seem to be 20% off, but still it's better than no sale prices at all.

Both the goat and goat feed handbook have been offered on the sale. I purchase all my handbooks at the discounted price and I have both of them already. Maybe they will come back around for you again.

Huh??? I wasn't aware I was one-upping you, Goodfella! And I certainly wasn't trying to do that, so if it seemed like I was, I apologize. No offense intended.

It was just a bad joke. Not offended at all, just got bored and thought about yankin your chain a bit.

Hey, anybody know where that saying is from? 'Yanking your chain'. It's kinda funny, but not exactly clean.

In the old gold mining days, when the miners had to use the restroom, they did so on top of a wooden box with a large hole on the top upon where they would sit. The wooden box was built on a mining cart. Sometimes the mines were very dark and as a joke while someone was using the restroom, another miner would sneak up on that person and push the mining cart to send it sailing on the track down further in the mine! To stop or hinder this, the miner using the restroom would put a chain across the track to use as a stop for the mining cart when someone would try to push it. Sometimes the pusher would search for the chain to remove it, and so the other miner would holler, "Don't pull my chain!", hence the saying was born.

We don't know the cost of any full set of handbooks yet for the gourmet farm. I added a sheet to this thread: http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/showthread.php?91439-Library-info-and-book-cost&p=1320478#post1320478

Please give any information you have on the handbooks in that thread - thanks ^^

Do you mean the Library Books? They are not in the Inventory Tab but have their own tab at the middle bottom. They are also shown in the Library Building at the right

What do you mean by don't exist? You bought some but they are not shown as bought? If so contact Support using the link at the bottom of the page

Have you tried going to the second tab? There's a gourmet farm tab at the top of the boosters screen.

I know of no Library Books that are being offered by Prime Sale that are not in the Library of Books. You are going to have to explain a lot more

All the prime sale books are in the library. You can even buy them for the same discounted price in the library while the prime sale runs. You do need the correct tab though. Switch tabs in the library to find the correct books.

    hi all
just wondering what you thought the benefits of the handbooks are worth the gold spent on them?
To me the benefits aren't equal to the amount of gold for these.....
    or am I wrong?8|

i personally only get whats necessary for co-op projects like milk, eggs etc. and don't think the outrageous cost is worth it unless you have money to blow.

on the handbooks i have the chicken one how often can it be used it was good for an hour after i bought it i hope that its good for more than that, 460 gold is too much for just an hour

The duck book is great, especially if you have a lot of coops. Maxed out the bonus is 250 eggs per coop.

For me the handbooks are definitely worth it (for the first couple of levels anyway). If all the levels were 490 gold then I would buy them all but I think that 5900 gold just for the second level of the apple handbook is ridiculous.

that is why only the corn, eggs, and wildflowers are going to be the ones maxed for me. there is no need for wheat and cabbage for me and some of the other gourmet farm crops

    1. With regards to Wildflower, Corn, Cabbage, and Wheat, are the productions increases added before or after you put humus on your fields?

    2. How many Boosters must you purchase before the Library building upgrades its picture to the next level? Usually you can click on a building's INFO to see the different levels, but the library doesnt have it.
