You will get a task to name it first time.
You do get to keep them, but you may want to spend them on seeds after the island farm.
If you click the airport and the green button with the ? on it, it tells you about the whole event & how its going to progress.
so...the island is a ~30 day event that resets the farm...but keeps the shells you make to continue with the rest of the game?
My point is, IF that is the case...then there is no panic to be first or ten thousandth each month.
The point of the island is the new currency. Shells. Need 'em for Greenhouse seeds....and likely more.

If you have already named it, It costs 2000 gold to rename it.
To name it the first time go to the square menu top right. It's made of 4 other squares.
Click Options - cog wheels
Click Settings - spanners
Farm names is then the bottom of the four choices
Step 1: Collect 9000 Grapes, Collect 18.000 peanuts
Reward: 250.000 shells

Farmhouse (Only 4 levels)
Level 2 - 1:40 hours - $240,000
Level 3 - 4:00 hours - $1,200,000
Level 4 - 6:00 hours - $5,500,000

The airport will be like the architect and events, it will periodically come back. The island will always be reset, everything on it will always disappear between events.

I think that you gain that seashells for demolishing
Some corrections to the upgrade costs:
1. Bank: one zero missing everywhere in upgrade costs, 55.000 is price for upgrade to level 3, not level 2, level 2 upgrade costs 20.000 if I remember correctly and level 1 comes already build.
2. Other costs: they are for level 2. Level 1 costs can be found in build menu.
3. Fence level 3 costs 420.000 and takes 13:50:00, gate level 3 costs 460.000 and takes 14:20:00.
These tasks from Nabil (Post #18 ) don`t appear to be added to the main list yet. :thumbsup:

Did you build or upgraded a house in meanwhile. Production costs depend on happines. If your happines is lowered, production costs go up. Bulid some decorations or upgrade a fence to lower it.
