hey ya Master Players!
i mean those players who are at very high levels, can you give me some suggestions plz?
i have a simple problem: i'm always almost out of fertlizer.
i have built so many cows and some pigs and donkeys too i'm still working to get more donkeys too (actually i play only twice or thrice a day), i thought i'd collect more dung and make more fert but it ain't working!
i know having a water tower and a workshop would help me but i'm not a gold buyer, so please tell me if there's anything i can do improve my fert chain!
i'm on level 91
*(idk where to post this thread, so mods: move it to the right place)

But... This whole game is a balancing act. And what works for one, someone else may find another way.
I'll post what's worked for me. (And I have three farms, three servers, all pretty high levels now.)
By the way, your level 91? You ARE a high level player. You should have this down by now. Unless that was a typo.
A good balance to shoot for. 5 fields usually keeps everyone fed. 4 chickens. 3 pigs, 4 cows (eventually, that one may take awhile. But you'll get a bonus for 4 cows at some point.)
3 apples and 1 cherry. On one farm I got crazy and put in 2 cherries and it's always been tough to keep them all going.
Of course upgrading always helps. Short on feed? Upgrade the mill and fields. Short on poo? Upgrade animals. And the silo.
If you play a lot, work on chickens first since those harvest often. If your only on once a day or so, work on upgrading cows. Like that.
I never once got the shed. Heard too many people say it's not worth it. BUT... the water tower most definitely IS worth it. You do earn gold from time to time just checking in and other things. Save it until you can get the water tower. Even just the base one helps a ton.
BTW... I like your farm. It's solid.
I missing a very important information from you: How much are you playing?
If you only are online to harvest everything one time per day, I think that could be the explanation for that you not can produce enough fertilizer.
I could not find you workshop?
You only have 2 chicken coops, and 2 duck coops?
Do you know the silo on the gourmet farm don't use as much dung to make fertilizer as the silo on the main farm?
- But the GF silo is slower working than the MF silo
Like goodfella, I don't understand you can not produce enough fertilizer, unless you only log in on time each day just for harvest everything, thats it, logout, not more playing that day.
just to make it more clear: i have a water tower level 1,
as i already stated i play atleast three times a day (that's the least one) so i think i give this game a decent time.
did you guys also notice the facilities on the gourmet farm (animals and orchards)?
i'm building the donkey-chain, i have 3 donkeys and i'll build 3 more
i'm never out of animal feed on any farm, only fert creates problem for me, lol
and Brian: i do login to harvest and then logout BUT i do this many times and i login after an hour during my playtime so that i can harvest pigs, pigs and chickens give enough poo for ten fert (1 pack) in one harvest
and i do know the gourmet farm silo, that's why i upgraded it to level 4!
I barely ever use my gourmet farm silo. It sits around collecting rust until we do Native Wildlife, as the xp it offers is a joke and the fert takes ages. I just have the one main farm silo going at all times. I personally think 3 donkeys are plenty enough. The only stables you are lacking are the chicken coops on main farm, and maybe ducks and goats. Build a couple of those each and see if that helps.
Like Goodfella, I never run out of fertilizer, even my main farm silo mostly only run in the night.
- if I run the main farm silo 24/7 I'll have a heavy overflow of fertilizer, which I them may sell with a relative loose of dollars.
As you now can think, also mine gourmet silo never are in use, I only have it as a back if it should be necesarry to use it to a project.
Hmmm, I presume you run full portions(400) in your silo?
If you're not online as much, focus on the cowsheds and duck coops.
Another thing, do you run most of your dung through your GF silo or your main farm silo? I keep my GF silo running constantly, but only run my main farm silo when I run low on fertilizer or need it for events. I don't care about the XP as much as I care about being able to keep all my orchards running. Well, most of them. My cherries and peaches run on an as-needed basis. Cherries run mostly during events. I did the calculations and for the fertilizer consumption, I get more for my apples than cherries.
I may be a lower level than you, but I think balancing techniques apply to any level.
I'm level 66 now. I have 12 chickencoops, 3 pigsty's and 5 cowsheds on mainfarm. 4 duckcoops, 4 goatstables and 3 donckeystables on gourmet. 6 apple orchards and 3 cherry orchards.
I never run out of fertilizer. On the contrary my barns aren't big enough. I have to wait to produce more ...
Level 100 here, 7 cows, 4 chicks, 4 pigs, 3 donkeys, 7 ducks and 3 goats. They all produce so much dung that I have to sell off, because I cannot use enough on my 6 apples, 2 cherries, 2 peaches and 2 almonds (and I use just a leetle bit for my 2 olives and 2 citrus orchards - 4 fertilizer for all those (4 normal fertilizer converts to 40 liquid fertilizer.)
I do play all day and have a workshop though. My workshop and water tower both are level 2 on my main farm.
guess what? today i reached to full capacity of fertilizer in my game!
thanks to all who showed up and helped me, i did follow your instructions and now my farm is out of "fert crisis", now i can run my orchards without any concern!
thank you all to guide me through it!

Happy farming
^^
