I don't like the new missions because they are NOT FUN!

-you should not be able to use gold for missions. How can you start a mission for wild flowers and in the 1st 30 seconds the only other player has 1200 flowers? Wow! Not much fun for the others partaking in the mission...

While I also don't like the missions. 1200 is just five fields of special wildflower seeds, without any hummus even, or 3 with hummus. No gold needed.

Hi I am Nate00 lvl 54 and am doing a mission. Why would they in their wisdom put a lvl 104 in the same mission. Wonder why players don't do missions ...geeees

Missions should be clarified better. How they are grouped and how they work. Right now I am in a mission and I am lvl 79 with rep. points of 67K. There is a lvl 125 with rep. points of 660K and a lvl 59 with rep points of only 61K. How is this even considered a fun competition ? and it defiantly shows me missions are not grouped by lvl or rep. points.
I like the separation of golders vs. non golders but to be completely fair and fun for all players missions need some rework in several areas since you have to do them for certificates.
They are a great idea and a lot of time was spent making them and they can be fun and I think a little rework would put them back in line and more players would participate in them, therefore generating more revenue for the game itself.

The Gold vs. no gold is a fabulous idea. I'm just not sure how much software or time that would take. My biggest complaint is that one out of 10+ missions there is one player slightly beneath me in points and level. All the remaining players are 20+ levels above me. Half of those are almost always double my level. It's not so much the gold used as it is putting me at a huge disadvantage because of the amount of coops and fields available.
    Just my two cents...

    Knaves,
Missions are competitions; you lose some you win some. I do not care whom I compete against or with and for sure I do not care that some people have the money to win with gold. Hey! More power to them. Who says that gambling has to be fair? It only has to have decent options and within the law.

This is a game for GGS to make money, therefore is a business for them and entertainment for us.

My only problem with the missions is that they get in the way of the projects because we get missions for flowers when we are doing corn. We get corn when we are doing fert. and flowers. We get eggs when we have collected all eggs for a project that finished two hrs ago. Dung we get very rarely. In addition, we get flower and corn over and over.

We need to be able to choose the missions we are going to do. Whom I play against is not important unless you want to be a winner all the time. Everything else is unnecessary.
The problem with the missions is not that we win them or lose them. The problem with the missions is that they are interfering with the day-to-day projects scheduled by the cooperative management.

Also getting flowers and corn over and over and over is a bit sick.

Give us the right to choose the missions. Not the people we play against, I do not want to know if they use money or not. I just want to be able to do missions when I have the crops ready to collect that I need to compete. Ii see Mr C playing in my egg mission and he has 400 coops and 500 ducks? I let him win. Why not?

Ohh, is only about gold? Too bad Charlie, I will continue to ignore the missions where I can not be ready for and or I need the crops for the projects in my cooperative and when GGS gets a chance please let us know what the points we are losing mean because till now we don’t care because we do not know!!!
GGS seems to like that old saying, “ignorance is bliss”

    Sincerely

    Wina

I picked #3 but I also think #1 is a must as well! It seems like it would make the missions more of an even playing field!

I personally prefer co-op projects as it's farmers working together against time, rather than each other where it's often not a level playing field. I don't mind current missions, but I wouldn't particularly miss them. However I LOVE co-op projects. It seems the spade scoring has been balanced as it seems both a level 20 & 40 can both get best contribution awards at the same time and it seems quite accurate. I would really really love it, if we could gain certificates from co-op projects based on contribution (spade count).

It would solve the problem of competition between co-op projects & missions and most importantly it would encourage participation in co-op projects. There are rewards for BEING in a co-op, but there are no rewards for being an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT. Which means few are motivated to contribute, either in projects or research. I do think this needs to be addressed.

The 2 main issues myself & my co-op face are level-fairness & amount of certificates awarded. I had an idea & ran it by my co-op. They likes it & encouraged me to post it here. I think the missions will be more fun & successful if, 1. Players played against others that are similar in level. For example, I am Level 44. I should NOT be playing against a Level 107. Not fair in a lot of ways. I SHOULD be playing against someone from Level 30-60. THAT is fair. 2. More certificates should be awarded at the end of the mission. Someone in last place should get a MINIMUM of 10 certs & someone in first place should get a MAXIMUM of 50 certs. I think that if the # of certs won increased, people would be more willing to play. Most of the players in my co-op do not want to do the missions because of how few certs they receive, whether 1st or last. Most of the players in my co-op do not use gold in the missions because they do not want to waste it like that, so the gold spending point for my co-op is mute. But, I have played against gold spenders before, & yes, it is unfair, because someone that doesn't work hard to earn their reward is heavily rewarded, while the ones that do work hard are not so handsomely rewarded. So I think that separating the gold spenders from the non gold spenders is a good idea. I feel I have voiced the main concerns of my co-op. If they have anything to add, I know they will. Thank you all for listening.

Some great ideas Natasha :) I totally support the notion about, choosing closer levels to compete in missions :) I just completed an eggs mission 2min ago - I placed 3rd. Was active during the mission - harvesting the eggs, but the lvl66 playing against me (Im lvl41) had 1,500 eggs , LOL I can not compete with that.
I did receive only 3 certs for placing third - that is a poor reward, considering the missions take half hour.

Maybe we could introduce differently timed missions as well - for Corn & Wild Flowers 15-20min would be enough to harvest. For Eggs & dung, half hour is better for sure.

I do NOT do missions every day, due to half-hour time frame & the "poor" reward system, I would participate more for sure, if things improve in the game :)

I agree that the missions are unfair. I on the rare occasions that I have used gold (wildflower mission as I use special seed) only use 4 gold.

My idea is that a gold cap, say 10 Gold be put on missions that way if you're been placed in a mission that been running for a few minutes you still have a chance. This could work as a third tier to the above idea.

The system we got for missions currently is still a lot better than the old one.
    Thanks for your time :)

    By using lots of gold.
But I think what you see is the other players reputation points.
That a very well know bug which we can hope will be fixed with the update coming today.

I agree with a lot of those issues, I'm level 49 currently and get matched up with level 100+ players, and this is supposed to be fair?
The same with gold use, I don't want to use it, but at the same time I can't get a decent place unless I do, so I wind up at the bottom of the totem pole and have to do a lot of missions. Frankly, I'd rather spend my time doing other things beside madly clicking away all day.

Agree. That, or the gold-buying players should compete against the gold-buying players and the non-gold players should compete against each other. Level the playing field, in other words.

You SO totally hit the nail on the head. I'm playing against someone at least 10 levels UNDER me but they're 300 eggs ahead, so no way they're doing it without gold. They need to redesigned so that people on similar levels and gold/non-gold players are in their own categories. Otherwise, there's no point in it because the chances of it being a level playing field are slim and none. I don't mind quite as much playing against players who are on a higher level than me, because that's understandable and they've earned that through playing longer than me. But losing to gold players just on account of the fact that they can afford to buy gold and other people can't isn't fair. At least when I do win, I know I did it without cheating.;)

    4) I would love to have seperate missions for gold spenders, because I like the challenge of trying to do my best without "cheating." However, that is unlikely to happen so I enjoy trying to mess with the gold spenders head. If you are on a mission to sell something, make sure your barn is full, but only sell a small amount at a time, then watch the gold fly. For example on the egg selling mission, I start off by selling 270 eggs, then 5 minutes later I sell 270 more, etc.... finally, I wait until the last second to sell everything and surpass gold spenders. So, if you can't beat them, don't join them, but have a laugh at their expense.

ROFL!!! ;) 8) I love the way you think---especially the last part. That's an EXCELLENT idea!!! I didn't realize people could cheat with gold til I figured out that people were getting a ton of stuff collected way before it was possible, especially when you don't have a lot of fields/chickens/etc.--but I would rather not do it by cheating that way even if I could because it kind of takes the sportsmanship out of it--plus it doesn't prove anything to anyone other than the fact that you can win by buying a lot of gold. It's kind of pointless---it's actually not even a competition at that point (unless it's a competition to see who can throw the most gold at a mission, rather than actually having to work at it.) Plus I'd rather not waste real money on it. :D

I just find its a time issue - I do not have the time to sit and watch a game move along at snail pace for 30 mins to complete a mission - I have a hectic life, and enjoy my gaming in brief 5 minute snatches here and there. I am sure many folk are the same. Come on developers - think of how the gamers have changed - and I am sure you can come up with better 'missions' that do not require pretty much 1/2 hour undivided attention.

I'm only lvl 55 on this farm. These mongrels took my original farm from me,oweing me gold, because they decided they didn't like my name. They actually break the law by doing it.But when I do missions I never get what they claim I will.I'm always against a lvl 100 or more. Most are so hopeless they use gold 2 beat me.How bad is that? A lvl 110 or more having 2 use gold 2 beat a lvl 55? There are some pretty useless players in here, but the company encourages them 2 do it.Because the company is so greedy, and pathetic

Wow aren't you a gem. If you don't like this game, it's parent company and the rules, why don't you just leave?

Don't get so concerned about winning the mission and don't use gold. Even coming last you get certificates and RP. You own effort counts more towards the number you get than your position in the Mission. True you will get a few more for coming first but not that many more. And certainly not enough more to warrant spending gold (my opinion any way)

I voted for the "can use gold/can use gold" but I'm also concerned about the matching up with other players. It just isn't von to be a lvl 3-40 player matched up with players around lvl 100.

I think that the needed certificates should come from the fields and the mill or another place and the missions should be for fun and other rewards, as I don't like to do the missions but its a must to get the certificates to make those retro farm machines I think that that's not fair.

The missions were fun and exciting when we could pick our challenge, use our minds to plan strategy, and get a useful reward for winning. The new system lost these factors, can we keep level-matching and shorter times but bring back choice and XP rewards?

I'm don't care for the xp reward.
But I also like if we could get back the choice with mission.
    - I'm so **** tired of wild flowers, even they give a better numbers of certificates now. I think 75% of my missions is wild flowers. :(

You are quoting someone that played the old missions.
If you don't like he missions, don't play them.
    Nothing gained, nothing ventured.
Calling someone a "cheater" because they decide to use THEIR money on a game that allows them to do so...well that is beyond childish.
I don't use gold on missions, I use it on the co-op and on my farm.
However, I do not begrudge people using gold that THEY paid for in any manner that they see fit to do.
Please stop the name calling, it is quite uncouth.

i don't have time to read all the messages, but GGS should put a lockout preventing gold use during the game, then there could be no complaints from anyone, except those that are buying the missions with gold
