If you're that bored, you could start another farm. It keeps things interesting for me. Well, it did. I've gotten to level 27 in less than a week, but things are starting to take longer now. I'm pretty proud of my progress this time around though.

Still need my Event fix though. Started "jonesing" here ...8)

Hey I was just thinking up something that might work instead of temper tantrums (they would probably not care about those) I am a woman you know - my brains are like the internet super highway - linking everything to everything :D

You mean linking everything to shoes, right?

OMG !!! All I gotta say - they better start that event soon, before the forum turns to a big crowd running around with pitchforks & torches (oh, wait .....that's Empire game & Game of Thrones, lol)

Temper tantrums, can be exchanged for house cleaning or cooking nice dinner , while wearing amazing shoes.....

No, I am not a shoe lady. I have 2 pair that I always wear. I even hate high heels. If you would let me loose in a house decorations or handwork store I would come out with a cart full though. 3D stencils, coloured papers, loads of colourfull yarn, embroidery kits, flower vases, little statues, name it - I would buy that much rather than shoes or even clothes.

Besides, Moonions, those shoes are so ugly... O.O This I would call amazing.

And I am thinking that event comes next week. They tricked us like this before :)

Awwww house decorating is great - just cleaning is a pain, lol
hmmm - how about some work in the graden, a real garden ? plant some flowers , cut the grass .....

Ugh. Not into gardening. That's hard work! And I've never really understood what people get out it either. I may be an artist, but I'm not that kind of artist.

hahahahahaa - this is the funniest answer I could get, not into gardening = but i do play a "f a r m" game, lol
awwww Wildcard - gardening, very rewarding you get to see things come to life, bloom, fruit , take care of living thing. Actually the reason why I play BigFarm is gardening ;)
I'm sure there is plenty of more artistic things to keep you busy till the Event comes :) Hmm - how about sketching up some new decos for the creative team at GGS ;)

I don't play a farm game, I play a business game. Big difference.

I guess I don't see the connection. I prefer taking care of living things you can have an actual conversation with, like cats or dogs or possibly kids once I can figure them out.

Haven't sketched any decos, but I have been working on a signature for my cooperative as well as a project for a friend. The friend's project takes precedence though, so I've had to put my signature on the back burner for now. I really only have two things left to do; pick a font and position the words. Not much. Took me a day to do the sig, but this other project required creating two whole new graphics from scratch, so I've spent the last four days colorizing them and touching it up in GIMP. I'm pretty busy artistically, but that doesn't do much to keep the calculating side of my brain busy. Both need to be fed.

Hey, has anyone ever wondered about the picture in my signature? Any guesses as to what that is?

Indeed you right - some people see this as business game, some people like myself play it for fun of growing & building things :) aye !!! as long as we having fun, all that matters right :)

Wow, your artistic projects sound nice, will be seeing the co-op signature soon I hope, that would be fun !!

The picture in your posts right now, I think it's a torn paper (card) with a face looking thru the hole ? Is that yourself? looks pretty cool, neat idea

Not a Joker, but Moonions is close. It's a self portrait of me with cat-like features. I'm a cat nut.

Funny you should mention Jokers though...

Oh, and the Co-op pic is coming soon. I just gotta find the right font and it'll be done.

I was taking a look at the spreadsheet and it says lv 55-114 and then farm specialist. Is this what happens after you get to lv 114 then? Do you keep going up levels or are you then just a specialist?

I know its not directly related to ufo but I hadn't noticed it before!

No, basically after you finished the level 3 event you can choose farm specialist. It unlocks for having completed the level 3 difficulty and won the 74 happiness deco.

Here is more info on choosing difficulty in events: http://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/2014/06/26/choosing-difficulty-in-events/

Well, I love the look of this event. Plus, getting corn is pretty easy so I'll be past step one really quick.

Very interesting - never knew that fields level, has any influence whatsoever on amount of items collected during harvest (in event, I mean). Well I think it might, just got +12 ufo parts from harvesting regular cabbage from Field lvl5, lvl4 &3 gave me +3 Ufo parts, unless that was random ...hmmm
    will keep you posted ;)

Ok, next harvest went different ;)
Violets (lvl5 field , plus humus) +15 ufo parts
cabagge (lvl4,3 field) +5 ufo parts

edit: lvl7 doggie +3 ufo parts
    roses +12 ufo parts
    special wheat +15 ufo parts

Huh? I don't think field levels have anything to do with the number of items collected, like with tasks two, four and six. Doghouse levels do though.
Edit: Just got 5 parts from a level six field, but I'd gotten 3 from level five. Both planted with regular cabbage.

    Weird.

Indeed - maybe there was a "items" collecting tweak with the update this morning - or maybe it is random, number, so there is a chance that Cabbage will give you between 3-12 ufo parts, at random, with dash of humus & luck ;)

It has always been so that you have a random slim chance of getting a much higher number from one of your buildings. For example when you would get 15 of something from apples, they may very rarely give you 40 or so. It is just so rare and you do not always pay that close attention (at least I do not) that you catch it every time it happens :)
