Suggestion: Be able to disable donations to a co-op

Sometimes a co-op doesn't need any more funds, either of cash, or gold, or both, but not all members cotton onto this and donate anyway.

It would be good to have a way for the co-op leader only (not the deputies) to be able to disable cash and/or gold donations, a separate option for each.

I second this - also would be a great idea if we could disable the purchase of researchers for gold...

It would be nice to disable researches that we don't want people to participate in. A lot of my members participate in the wrong research and I have to keep explaining how to move to another research.

It would be great if the head of the co-op approves the next round of research, then people can participate. Until then the selections remain closed.

I agree with all of the above, but I doubt that GGS would want to stop the accidental spending of gold on researchers.

We solved the problem with several researches, by writing the next one research on the frontpage ( news), that made a big difference.

We passed this idea on, but it probably won't happen. Instead, we'll think of more things to do with money and gold already donated to the coop - that should be the more interesting solution for everyone :D

I think this accidental donations to co-op funds could be managed better from a leadership prospective. The leader of a co-op should be constantly in touch with his or hers members. Sending each of the members a notice of what is coming up next and in the near future. Just like GGS does to it's members with updates and other events. I think just get the communication going in the co-ops and you WILL see a difference
    Happy Farming every body

as tonyplayer22 said i send a group message to notify of next projects and researches so people dont donate researchers by accident and know exactly what will be next

I don't see why there should be a limit to research. Why not make some of the branches infinite?
