VickyFarmerVickyFarmer Posts: 107
can someone plz tell me y flower farm has a negative happiness with the cabin. i know that the cabin unhappiness points stay the same no matter the level of the cabin but when starting the flower farm it is an uphill battle just trying 2 get just a few points in the positive 4 happiness so that the running cost is just slightly lower. I find this unfair ;(;(;(;(;(;(. i want a real answer not some half explanation 4 this unfair happiness hit in what should b the most profitable farm.

Sorry, but I think the only answer anyone can really give is 'because GGS decided to'. You should do what I did and save Event award decos for the Flower Farm. And devote a little more space to the decos.

GGS really doesn't need to explain any decisions to the people who play here. They're nice enough to give us a free game we can play instead of charging everyone like so many other game-makers.

I think GGS' intention on making the flower farm harder to achieve happiness is to keep the higher level players interested in the game by making it a challenge. You will also find the buildings and upgrades are much more expensive.

If everything was super easy people would get bored very quickly and leave the game making it not as successful thus making developing the game further not very profitable.

I do believe that if you spend time and work hard you will find that it will become very profitable as you go on :)

    Good point, Camii.

My running costs on the FF are -73%, btw. In fact, I maintain that one at the highest level of the three farms.

my us1 flower farm is -82. I also use event decos. if the meadows and orchards were made small, like they did on the gourmet farm, could achieve even higher. you just have to plan and don't put a lot of houses, upgrade them instead of adding more. nothing is gained by trying to do anything quickly on this game, it may seem so at first, but later on its all the same. all in due time. no hurry. the cabin will shorten the time it takes to upgrade, so do it as soon as you can.

Thank u jatoda2 and Wildcard999 I never really thought of it that way and it makes since. Lately I have been taking the time 2 demolish old less valuable decos and I am replacing them with the new 4x5 deco that is worth 33 happiness points I also have a telescope. R there any other tricks that u can give me 4 the flower farm?????

Your flower farm looks pretty neat. Try to add some of those event decos, that are only on your main farm now, on the flower farm after you won them in the upcoming events. Also take it easy - invest in the decos and only build a new building when your happiness is good. It will take quite some time and patience, but eventually you will get there ^^

Well, the first thing I suggest is to use all your space up. If you want to destroy old decos, that's fine, but make sure every spot is full before you do that and that a replacement has already been created. Since decos can be stored, you don't need to worry about making room through destruction before you can build new. Just store and build. My WWW farm has been building extra trees by storing newly built trees and then building another so that when I open a new plot of land, I can fill it immediately and get it making money for me. It also gives me extra XP boosts (albeit small) which help me get closer to when I can buy a new plot of land!

Also, ignore the FF tasks. Concentrate on the needs of your Flower Shop and upgrade that as soon as possible, keep it going constantly and do what it takes to make it get you the most money you can. If a task tells you to do something and it won't help you get more out of the Flower Shop, ignore it and save up for the Shop upgrade. You make a TON of money once Soaps open up.

Great plan. Do note that one olive grove level two can support one apiary, but you will need two to run honey cream when you get there with your shop. So if you want to go and run honey cream you will probably need two apiaries and two olive groves. That will probably be a long term plan, but you can at least already count on it :)

I myself have 2 olives, 2 citrus orchards, 2 apiaries, 1 mixing plant level 4, 1 shop level 6, 2 meadows level 1 and 1 distillery. All plots bought. I run box of soaps all day and honey cream over night :)

You also need two olive groves to produce enough olives to supply all the olive oil you need for soaps. I actually didn't have to put my second grove in until I got soaps and found I'd run through my olive oil supply. I do my best to only do soap and honey cream.

Fyi, I'd saved up 2k honey dew before I managed to get my first apiary, so it wasn't a problem. I'm still at 1k.
