    Ditto that. I happen to have a fair bit of gold at the moment, because of some birthday money that was used to purchase a larger gold package in a 100% offer awhile back. I don't normally buy a lot of gold, this was more a one-time purchase that I plan to use on things that will benefit my game over the long haul, like better decos & blue houses.

    Here's my offer: Spend 20,000 gold - get 220 fertilizer. Sorry, but my silo makes more fertilizer than I can use. Spend 45,000 gold - get 120 humus. Again, my composter makes more humus than I need. Spend 75,000 gold - get 230 violet seeds. Well, I don't mind violet seeds, but don't really need them. Spend 110,000 gold - get 1000 XP points. Again, I don't mind getting XP points, but I don't really have a problem earning them either. And the grand prize, for spending 150,000 gold - $2,500,000. Which is a little more than half of what my farm makes every day. None of those offers are worth anywhere near the amount of gold required to be spent.

    The old offers, with the bridge as top prize, always made me want to spend gold because I like getting good decos and because the gold that had to be spent was reasonable, given that I am going to upgrade houses, etc, anyway. This prime spending offer just makes me want to keep my gold, which I doubt was the intended effect.

    Well... there you have it. Thanks so much for that information. In the last prime spending that came to town, with the old setup, I received 25 mystery boxes for the 4th prize and the Bridge as the last one. In those mystery boxes... I got an arbour (72 HP décor), a gold mining license, about 3 boxes had out-right gold in them... those mystery boxes were worth a good amount in themselves. I replenished gold just to complete the old Primes... this right here is a downer for sure and I will no longer participate in these prime spendings at all. So long Prime Spending... We had a good run, but all good things must come to an end I guess. Unbelievable. Oh well.

    Totally disappointed with the new prime spending scheme. Why on earth are the rewards so stingy? I would agree with the above that when there was a decoration, it was motivation to spend gold. I told myself I was going to spend gold on the gourmet farm boosters when the prime spending showed up and I see that once again, GGS thinks that seeds are great rewards for our gold spending. My other possible rewards are XP and money? The offers are 170 XP for 10000 gold and $250,000 for 17500 gold spending. No thanks :(

    I have the same offer as Pingo & Rick. I'm disappointed with this change, and I do hope there is a chance for it to go back as it was. I have to wonder, if the prime spending offers with the +58 deco (for spending 15K) or even the +67 deco (for spending 45K) will also go up? Will we need to spend 150K just to get a +67 deco?? I do save my big gold purchases (gold upgrades, gold donations to the co-op, etc) for prime spending, but now I feel like there is less incentive.

    :(:(

    I must agree, spend 20k gold to get 220 premium fertilizer, 45k gold to get 120 premium humus, 75k gold to get 230 violet seeds, 110k gold to get 1000 exp points and then 150k gold to get 2.5 million dollars!
    I am not even bothering with this prime spending, not going to waste that sort of gold on this update.

    I'm totally agree with all other in the thread, that new Prime spending day is totally useless.
    My us farm:
    Account 12,865 gold
    500 = x40 fertilizer
    1,500 = x6 premium humus
    3,000 = x13 violets
    5,000 = x75 exp
    7,500 = x 70,000 dollars

    My skn farm:
    Acount 1,555 gold
    200 = x20 fertilizer
    500 = x2 premium humus
    1,000 = x5 violets
    1,600 = x24 exp
    2,500 = x22,000 dollars

    The fertilizer 'reward'? - so my silo's can take a break, instead of witch dropping water, tools and some collectible items? - thanks a lot. :(
    premium humus? hmm, ok, but not for that 'price' (missing silo drops for a while)
    Violets? ok, but again not for missing the silo running for a while
    Exp? I'm playing for fun, not for going after the top rank, so I'm totally don't care about that exp reward.
    The dollars.. ROTFLMAO oh no, never do that again, it took me five minutes to laugh finished and climb up on the chair again, and now I have a stomach ache from laughing.

    Quote from the annoncement:
    "Prime Spending will now take the current amount of gold you own into account, to determine the amount of gold to spend for each step, as well as the rewards. This should enable us to offer you rewards that are more tailored for your personal needs and possibilities."

    Sorry to say that, but fertilizer, exp, and dollars is absolutly not one of my needs, and not eighter are feeds if they should get that idea to put feed in the prime spendings.
    Because of that fertilizer 'reward' I will not spend any gold in the that time where the prime spending is active, so now I have to wait 38 hours, before I can do gold upgradings on my us farm, and the gold mine also going to stop for a while (I have some gold licence). Thanks for the kick in my ... :(

    I'm just happy I not have so much gold as some other players in the thread, they are imo really being punished hard because they have a lot more gold than me.

    Oh, I forget to give constructive ideas:
    As long the building on the gourmet farm dont drop anything, I can use goat feed, donkey feed and duck feed.
    Some special dandelion seed, special lamp's lettuce, or special barley could also be nice. Yes, I know they don't exist yet, but we can hope they come some day.

    Else some nice deco's also could be used on my little us farm. On my level 100 skn farm, I don't need anything of those things are possible with that little gold account I have there.

    I hope the folks at GGS who make these decisions will realize from the comments here that the Prime Spending changes are actually a disincentive to buy gold. In the past, I (and I think likely others) would top up my gold account in order to participate in the Prime Spending event. If the offers continue to be so unattractive, I definitely won't be doing that any more. Like Jules, I had planned to use some of my gold to buy farm boosters for the gourmet farm when the Prime Spending event arrived. But I can't imagine trying to spend 150,000 gold in two days, and won't try. That's just totally unreasonable.

    Not to spoil things for people who like FREE gifts, but as a player with the low end of offers, and Gold Mine running, I basically get 20 Fert, 2 Premium Humus, 5 Violet Seeds, and 24 Exp pts for nothing but refilling my mine when it comes up. Under normal circumstances, I would buy none of these for Gold, except maybe Exp, but that would depend on price. However, if you think of them as a Voucher for playing. I'm okay with it. :)

    That means my choice is... spend 500 gold for 22,000 or not... Not. :) Unless it happens for some other reason, in which case I'll take my 22,000 and not really notice.

    I agree. I just got my first prime spending offer and have decided not to buy so much gold. It was an incentive before to spend some to get the offers but now I feel like the amount of gold I have to spend to get the prime offers is out of line. I won't even be considering them any more.

    I completely agree with what others have said. I don't often buy gold, typically only with a 150 or 200% bonus. Then I had been saving it for the prime spending days. This was mostly to be able to get the decos that I couldn't get any other way. I don't need the fertilizer or humus that this one is offering. So, at this spoint I'll continue to hold onto my gold in hopes of something better.

    I also think it is very unfair to the players who have a lot of gold that they would be asked to spend 150K in 2-3 days. Those are the players who keep this game going with their spending. This almost seems like it is punishing them for having so much gold. This really seems like a bad idea for GGS in the long run.

    Your statement is right on the mark, jJen... I'm really offended that they would like me to spend 150K gold in 2 days. That's a massive amount. Offending paying customers isn't the way to grow your business.

    Hey everyone,

    we're collecting and forwarding your feedback in regards to the new version of Prime Spending at the moment.

    BarbieDoll2 asked a question that is very relevant in this case:
    I'm disappointed with this change, and I do hope there is a chance for it to go back as it was. I have to wonder, if the prime spending offers with the +58 deco (for spending 15K) or even the +67 deco (for spending 45K) will also go up?

    Yes, this version of the Prime Spending event is just another variation. The others can still occur as well - just like Prime Days with different rewards.

    We realize that some rewards feel more special to one part of the community than to others. While some players fight for every experience point they can get, others don't care about their level as much.
    That's why we try to keep some variation in rewards. :)

    Regards,
    Steffi

    If this is the case, and there will be BOTH instances of prime spending, the old and the new, then that's a plus side, definitely. While I will not try to take part in the "new" prime spending (because it's not really worth it to me), if the "old" prime spending is still going to be available, that's something worth looking forward to at least. If this "new" version is beneficial to some, that's great for them! I'm glad to hear it's not a universal change to all the prime spending events. Even though I don't like it, I do appreciate variety. :)

    Great news! I'm very glad to hear the old Prime Spending events haven't disappeared into history. Will wait eagerly for them to reappear.

    Thanks for that information, Steffi. :)
