    Hello,

We read one of the posts you have listed and are hoping, please, that you might beable to clarify it for us?
We started asking for all members to donate 10 gold every week besides the normal ranch cash, to try and progress toward Co-Op research that costs gold.

BUT…We found out from one member that it would NOT let her donate any gold.
You have a post, #46, that says players MUST be either level 30 OR have purchased gold in order to donate it to a Co-Op.
Would you please help us to know what this rule is? We would like to fix our Co-Ops forum page etc…as soon as possible! We cannot and will not ask for gold from members who are not allowed to donate it : )

    Thank You Very Much,

    wildfireways : )

For a member to pay gold in any way in the co-op you need to be level 25 or have bought gold before. If you are below level 25, but have bought gold, you are allowed to donate and pay for researchers etc. with gold. If you are below level 25 and did not buy any gold, you cannot donate or pay for research etc with gold.

This is a safety lock GGS put to avoid players from creating multiple accounts, accumulating gold through the welcome bonus and some level ups, join a co-op at level 6 and donate it into the co-op. Reaching level 6 can be done in half an hour to an hour. Reaching level 25 takes longer and would require more work for somebody with this intention.

You need to do cooperative projects and earn SP or cooperative points to level up. The projects have a certain amount of times they can be played in this difficulty. When they move to the next ability they level up, become harder to complete and need more collectibles to fill up.

More info about levelling up the co-op is here: http://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/2013/11/26/how-to-level-up-the-co-op-and-how-many-sp-do-i-need/
A spreadsheet with all project levels and needed collectibles is here: http://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/2013/08/20/spreadsheet-spoilers-and-helpful-information/(bottom of page)

Hi sorry I couldn't find my question. I have become the leader of the co-op I'm in (2 weeks now). The founder has left and started another co-op. The co-op I'm in has finished all research on all 3 farms.

    Two part question:

    1. If I change the name of the co-op, (I know it cost 2000 gold comes out of co-op acct) would it make me founder if I change the name?
    2. By changing name does it start the research over again under new name? I would hate this to happen if it does. It would make people in the co-op not very happy.

Hope you can answer my questions.
    Thank you for your time.

    MK =)

No and no :) You are only founder if you actually founded the co-op and no matter what the name is, the co-op is as it is.

If I remember correct, the cost 2000 gold will be taken from your personnaly farm account, not from the co-op's account.

I'm not sure about the changing name will restore the research, so you loose researching which already have been done...
But I cannot see any ressons to that. - Even the co-op changed name, it's still the same co-op which have used dollars and time to do the research.

    [...]

It is taken from the co-op accounts. Do you own a co-op anywhere? Click on change name without actually typing a name, it will be stated there that the gold is taken from the co-op accounts. Then click the cross so you will not actually change the name and pay the gold :)

Edit: Or actually I will just post a screenshot:

I have a task to add a collectible object to a collection but I'm not sure how/where in the co-op to add the objects I have.

You can add these in the project tab of the co-op. For a full pictorial now to do this, check this page: http://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/what-are-collectibles-and-what-do-we-use-them-for/

If all projects are full, you can ask the members that donated the items to take them back out so you can complete your task.

Our co-op is looking for members. We've not yet posted on the forum. So, where can I see what it says about my co-op to those who are looking to join?
    Thanks!

The easiest place IMO is on the overview tab of the "Coopertive" dialog box. (The box with the chat, projects, research, etc.) What you type in the description there, is what people see, as well as the rank, level, and players. You can also go through the ranking button and see what your co-op statistics are. Hope I am understanding your question correctly and responding correctly.

how do i be apart of a coop

    There are several methods:
The most simple is to ingame send an application to one or several co-op's who search for members.

A second way is you can try to look in this forum for a co-op you can send an application:
    http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/forumdisplay.php?587-Cooperatives-looking-for-members

A third way is to post an application in this forum:

No, Giby. You can only be in one co-op at a time. If you want to join another co-op or start a new one you will have to leave the one you are in first. You could leave the co-op, put a trustworthy person in charge, join a different co-op for a while, then leave that co-op again and put in an app to your old co-op. If the person you put in charge knows about all this they will probably give back the lead to you after you have been accepted back in.

No, only one player and one co-op per server. You can, however, leave a co-op and join another. :)

Ok, so - a quick question since I'll lose my youth trying to read all these posts and find an answer to it. ;)
In my coop we can't seem to agree on the meaning of the number of shovels - whether it shows a player's contribution to a last project, last 5 projects or his/her average overall contribution. Anyone out there has an idea? :D

That's a very difficult formula they use. It takes into account 5 projects, averaging the best 4 with different weightings. The last project weighs the heaviest. It also takes into account your level and probably also what your farm has available and maybe even more :) GGS will not give us the formula so we keep on happy guessing. I would not use them too heavily on your members :)

You can found your own cooperative or search for a cooperative to join. If you would rather join a co-op I sent you an invite and we would be happy to have you in our co-op family. What ever decision you make good luck with your co-op choice. :)

Go to "Multiplayer" on the toolbar in-game
Click the clasp hand icon at the bottom of your screen
You get 2 choices, one is to start your own or apply to one already started. It costs 375 gold to start your own though, but free to apply to another. You want to create it so follow that link.

I don't know why, but when my apple trees are done producing the apples and are ready to be harvested, they're not going to my cooperative. We have an apple project right now, and I don't know why they're going straight to my barn (or wherever they're stored). I've tried harvesting my trees 2 different times today, and both times they haven't gone to the co-op project. I've only been in this co-op for 2 projects; the first one involved milk, and I had no problem clicking on the milk and seeing that it had gone to the co-op project. Any idea why this is/what's happening, and has anyone else ever had this problem? Thanks. :)
