I would suggest saving them for an Event, Brenda. Certain events ask you to find stuff and Event seeds find you more than regular ones. Like the paintings you had to find for the second task and the paper cranes for the sixth. Speadsheets in threads like this one tell you how much Rice will find you.

Alright I finished the task and now I'm almost done with the blossoms :)

Awesome! I'm getting really slowed down by the fifth task. I've only got three pig stys. I'm glad the last task lets you collect cranes from so many different buildings because I'm going to need them all to do this.

Since I am doing the specialist that needs 80 feeds - I temporarily built two more pigs so I can feed five at one time . . . I will have 40/80 done before bed tonight but I think that is good considering I think I have played a total of six hours over the last two days thanks to work schedule. The other feeds will be done by Sunday morning - normally I would have done by the end of tomorrow but I have a 1 year old birthday to go to for my great nephew in the afternoon so that pretty much shoots six hours of playing time. :) But for a good reason.

Yeah, I've considered building temporary buildings, but that's a lot of money lost and as it stands, I can get it all done before the time is up. It'd just be done sooner. I just get nervous when I near a deadline.

I am considering starting the process of replacing my houses with blue houses once I get enough gold to use my gold mining licenses. I want to make the most of the space I have and I know I can squeeze more workers out of the blue houses and won't need as many decos to offset them. And with the gold mining license available in the Wheel of Fortune, I don't have to worry about blowing the gold it's taken me forever and ever to save up on something minor and unimportant.

I now have played in 8 month on the skn 1 server, and first for around a 2-3 weeks ago, I won my first scarecrow on the wheel of fortune, and I have not yet won a hammock, and not either a gold mine license.
I think there's a bigger chance to win a hammock than a gold mine license, but off course I can be wrong in that.

Yeah, but even if it's unlikely, it's still possible. And 2k gold is a really good bump to my bank. It makes things seem possible.

Anyone know what gives the most cranes per hour? I have demolished my temporary 2 cherries and can demolish a cowshed as well giving me more space. What should I build in return to get more cranes?

Either extra animals to get more dung into your silo, more orchards to get more leaves into your composter or more fields to get more crops into your mill. Mill, silo and composter give the most cranes. I always mill chicken feed till my mill breaks (and yes I do sell overproduce) ^^

I don't think the chances of winning things are better or worse on the Wheel of Fortune . . . it took me forever and a day to win my first hammock. I had a small army of scarecrows and had won several gold mining licenses before I got the hammock. On the other hand, Kat Nip had hammocks and still had not won a scarecrow . . . not sure if she has managed to win one yet or not. So I really do think the odds of winning those three items are about the same and it is just luck on which one you finally receive :) May fortune be on your side the next time he visits.

Two one level pig barns cost me 4,000 total and 32 minutes of build time. :) Not too much money lost. It doesn't matter if they are level one or level six . . . it still counts as a feed when you start them. I already had the people needed. I am probably losing some money because my running costs dropped from 86% to 71% but again I think it is worth it since this cycle gives me 270,000 dollars for completing.

As for using gold for houses . . . I am using it for blue barns first . . . max storage I will getting with two maxed out red barns and a maxed out farmhouse (need Steve for the house but have the barns) is 2100. Amount of storage with two maxed out blue barns and a maxed out farmhouse is 4200 - and you go over the 2100 at level 4 with two blue barns which brings you to 2400. Yes, it will hurt my storage at first when I tear down one of my barns to start building a blue barn but it will be worth it in the long run.

Let this be said at once:
only from the windmill, the composter and the silo, you can be sure you get some cranes.
All other building's it's a random they drop or not drop cranes.
But for the fields I have these experience:
Wild flowers can drop 1 per field.
    Corn - 1 per field
    Cabbage - 2
Rice - 30 (But nottify that, I have 6 fields with rice and only 1 field drop, the other 5 drop nothing)
    Special wildflowers - 4
    Special corn - 8
Violets 20 (but only 2 out of my 6 fields drops)

Maybe other have expentice with some seeds type I don't have on this little list?

I am still collecting cabbage but I'm not worried, I will surely finish. The last three tasks go fast.

I've been growing apples and cherries since around 9 last night. Harvested apples 3 times and cherries 2 times... STILL don't even have close to enough blossoms. 45 hours left finish this task then two more??? is it possible!!

Don't give up, karidawn. Even if you don't get the event prize at the end - each task gives a decent prize for completing. And every level you do complete helps you in future attempts because you know what to expect and can prepare a little better for them. :) Good luck!

Thank you, its just frustrating since the last two harvests I did not get any blossoms at all. Now I have to wait 10 hours for cherries... your right I don't think i'm gonna make it. just seems a bit unfair. I stayed up way to late last night playing this game and don't think i'm gonna achieve the end prize. Bummer..
Oh well the game is free and i love it!!!

It wasn't until recently that I have been able to complete the events with relative ease. So don't worry about it, it will get easier with higher level. I think you have done very well for your level! (I snooped at your farm :P)

I just finished collecting blossoms. You can still finish. You need to build extra pigstys for task 5.

No, looking at your farm you need to maximize your space by reorganizing your decorations. With the remaining time, if you want to stand a chance, you need more pigs. At least 2 to 4 more. You can place decorations in storage and take the hit to your overall happiness in order to finish. Long term, the event decoration will pay off.

Considering all the treehouses I've gotten from the Wheel, I'm pretty sure that's the deco that comes up the most in the gold Wheel. I really don't care much about frequencies in the regular Wheel though. I once won around six tokens during an eight-spin run. So I'm pretty happy with what I get from that.

I managed to land 2 hammocks in 3 consecutive bonus spins. Thankfully I did finally manage a scarecrow about a month ago so I have the full set from the wheel now. ^^

With this event, I like that it counted the times I used a cherry orchard not the quantity, I built an extra cherry orchard due to this event, definitely worked

Awesome. I've got a permanent extra cherry orchard now due to needing it for the Bakery and sometimes the Flower Shop.

I just finished the Event! Got my Blossoming Tea Garden!
