Is that it? I gotta say corn and especially flowers is REAL boring.
And so far.... one out of six tries doing a second mission, came up with something other than what I just did.
I won't be doing the second mission thing unless this gets fixed so you can't get the exact same mission twice in a row.

    discuss....

If you have an empty field sow in it special corn... if you receive mission with it you will get lots of certificates, well I did that and in 6 hour not receiving corn quests :)

Okay, so earlier I asked a question about the minimum amount needed, and the answer was 1, and you would receive a certificate.

I do a mission, was active until the last few minutes (nature called), and I got a message saying that I was idle and did not participate enough. I was 4th against players WAY above me in levels, and I got nothing! What constitutes "inactive," especially when you have participated up until planting will take more time then you have left?

Also, what changes have taken place with the amounts in certificates? I placed 2nd and only got 1? Is there a constant in the amount of certificates or not? What are the variables? amount collected, amount of players, amount of time participating?

I rather like the missions, but... very confusing and quickly becoming unenjoyable!

Just re-read the official announcement and it stated that "We will perform an activity check by the end of the mission in order to not give any rewards to players who just sat through the mission and did not harvest any of the relevant goods.
Don't worry, though, you only need to achieve a very low amount of harvests in order to be marked as active, so if you need to take a short break or missed a couple of minutes, you will not be punished."

    So, why was I "punished?"

Usually 4 clicks (sometimes 3 if you have big fields) is necessary to be considered not 'idle' during the mission.

I was definitely over 4 clicks, but thank you for answering.

    Thank you!

Just quickly spoke to the team and the recent changes we made with the hotfix unfortunately led to another small error. :(
Usually everyone should get at least one certificate.

They will tackle this issue as soon as possible.

Which means that they will probably not fix it until Monday at the earliest since they are off for the weekend (thankfully Monday is US holiday and not Germany holiday) . . . so expect issues with certificates until then.

5 (high level) fields were never enough, 10 seemed to be the minimum.

toolboxes don`t drop frequently enough...why not add a minimal toolbox reward to missions too, even if it`s just something like 1st place gets toolboxes x number of players in the mission, 2nd place gets same less 1, etc, and last place gets 1 toolbox. «I don`t think it`s too unreasonable.

I agree. it is not fair to the players who play on their own.
As a result, only the players with gold only win

If you check Larino´s spreadsheet you will notice that we don´t need so many toolboxes. That´s why I think current drop rate is quite reasonable. Maybe you should worry about certificates.

You have to consider that the garage is here to stay, not an event, and that we are meant to take months to get all four machines, not days.

well the garage is another this to get us mad.took the classic tractor to lvl2,which opened up the earth breaker.spent the last 4 days slowly collecting tool boxes.last night before signing off i started the building of the earth breaker, game had no problem taking the cert.required and 50 of those hard to find toolboxes.i come home from work and GUESS what, that machine sits at 0 lvl,all 50 toolboxes are gone along with the 100 cert,it took to build,or should i say not build it.i guess your looking for me to spend the 47,789 in gold to skip construction. thanks for making me feel like i got screwed again.how about doing an update that actually works.this game is starting to really removed, and since it doesn't appear that your gamers are any good at their jobs.maybe find new ones or just end big farm and start all over

Log out and log back in - this should correct the error.

maybe higher happiness..? seems a lot of effort when you can just buy a deco for the same if not more.

I don't feel any of the rewards are worth the effort, 2 of the 4 have to do with missions, which once completed will mean nothing. Deco reward is so small I can just win one in an event that is better. I thought machines would get us better farm production like a real farm machine would. More cherries, more apples etc.

The farm machines don't give much, no...
But I like to have them, just because I'm a little nostalgic, and for to have a target to go for. :)

    Hey Nauna14,

from what you report in regards to the amount of certificates you got during your last missions, it sounds like you didn't harvest a lot of goods during any of these missions.
Certificates are calculated taking both your rank in the missions and the amount of goods harvested into account. So if you score #1 with only ~100 corn collected, you will not get many certificates, whereas getting more for scoring #3 with ~1000 certificates. ;)

To rule out that there is a bug in the activity check, could you please tell us how many goods you collected during the mission you mentioned? It's true that you don't need to constantly harvest to be marked as active, but a couple of harvests are necessary anyway. ;)

    Regards,
    Steffi

Do we have any idea if there will be any use for certificates once the farm machines are completed, otherwise missions will be totally pointless. Once I have enough I don't know if to keep hoarding them or stop playing missions which I find very boring.

    Thanks

I'm so frustrated with the Missions that you need to get the certificates! I refuse to waste all of my humus and I'm not going to use gold - so there's no way I'll ever get those certificates :( Some of my competitors have obviously figured out how to win every single Mission by contributing thousands and thousands of the requested items when we ordinary farmers can only do hundreds. It just doesn't seem fair!

    Hi TXGramma

I have completed 2 machines and only need 3000 certs to finish the last 2 and I do not use gold in missions I just farm normally (tell a lie, i used a small amount of gold on 3 missions only) and the certs do build up so you will get there without using gold:-) Don't know how far you are but finish the earth breaker first as that gives you extra certs which will help finish the others quicker, but it takes ages anyway to collect the tool boxes.

    Good luck

    Kim

How can we tell we are really getting more, 5% or whatever, certificates when we do the tractors? It only shows where we upgrade the tractors. Unlike the boosters that show us, the difference. Are we really getting more?
Am I missing where it shows? Are there a set amounts of certificates you get? Coming in first, second etc. on different missions, corn etc.
Can also be asked for reputation points. I'm not that far in upgrading yet, so don't know if it is true for this or not.

Now, with the garage bonus, I get more certificates than before.
It's not shown anywhere, but I compared with my records.

    For example:
for ~2800 dung and 1 place in mission - 70 certificates
    and now - 95 certificates (+ 35%)

Runnerkim2, there are plans to find more uses for certificates and/or tools.
Nothing is set in stone yet, but I can still see some free space in the garage. ;)

That's true, jatoda, right now you cannot see the additional outcome you get with these boosters.
We already have an optimization of the reward window planned, to show exactly where all the numbers come from. ;)

i just got my 1st earth breaker built..it says plus 5% on all farms in production...does this include fields sheds and coop? or just certain ones? is this a true increase in production rates?
    just wondering...:)

The wording in the description is funny - the earth breaker only increases the number of certificates you receive on completing missions . . . it does nothing for the production on the farms.

I thought that at first too, that THAT would have been worthwhile, an increase in farm production in general.

Building the farm machine seems like a lot of effort for little return. Will other things be added to the machine later?
