Why did you all change the way we 'Refresh' when doing Co-op projects? Before we clicked 'Refresh' and it just refreshed the quantity, now it takes us to a second window, and we have to refresh there...what was the point in that? Seems to me that it is just an unnecessary step in game play...when it was perfectly fine, and efficient, the way it was.

This is a known bug that is being worked on by the developers to fix - happened when they updated the missions. Not sure when a fix will occur - but won't be this week . . .

No, sorry. There can be only one leader, but there can be as many deputies as the leader likes to have. Basically the deputies run the co-op when the leader cannot be there. They have the same tasks as the leader except for removing people from the co-op, changing the co-op description and changing the name. But they can recruit new people, accept them into the co-op, edit the news and start projects and researches.

You are doing the projects, but are you completing them as well? Only when you complete a project successfully you will get SP for the cooperative. Here is a post about SP and how to gain them: http://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/2013/11/26/how-to-level-up-the-co-op-and-how-many-sp-do-i-need/

Yes, the leader of your co-op has a boot button to do so. Let him/her click on an inactive member and then the boot :)

It usually takes at least two projects before shovels are shown and then up to five projects before they are shown accurately.

Putting the name of the player is not a good option.

But you made the cooperation and ..... is now leader? Then you where off-line for for then 30 days. You could always ask it back but there is no other way. The most cooperation only want active players and if the case is that you were not online for 30 days maybe you could convince that player to re-instate you as leader.

The dollars and gold you pay into the co-op accounts on the first tab (handshake) are for researches and researches only. You pay the starting fee from that amount. Besides that starting amount you also need to pay for a researcher spot and also the other members of the co-op should do that. You can only pay for 1 researcher spot for yourself and you can hire more researchers with gold. Does that answer your question?
How does the co-op use the gold next to the handshake? our co-op seems to have enough gold to buy a researcher, but as co-op leader i do not know how to use it. there is only a "use gold from private account" button.

Firstly make the difference betweet starting fee and researcher. A research needs both of those. Researchers are ONLY paid from your personal account, whether that is dollars or gold. Starting fees are ONLY paid from the co-op accounts. It depends on the research whether it needs dollars or gold to start it. For example, the recruitments researches cost dollars to start until level 6. From level 6 you can only start them with gold, therefore you will need a lot of gold in your co-op account to do all of them and more. On the website of Larino's Corner is a spreadsheet that shows all starting costs for all the researches so you can have a look what will be thrown at you in the future of the co-op.

How do I find out how much money my co-op has for start up fees? I know how to find out how much it is for each individual to pay to participate in a research project, but how do I find out how much the start up fee is for each research project?

That amount is stated in the research details. If you click on a research you will see 2 amounts. One with a dollar pack and a person, which is the individual cost and one with a dollar pack or gold pile and the orange flask. That is the starting fee. It is situated next to the research' start button. The starting fee amount will be distracted from the amount in your co-op accounts, which can be found and donated to on the first page, the co-op overview or handshake tab.

A chat bar will appear above your farm menu and you will probably get a message telling you welcome. Check the tutorial on our website (link in my signature) to find out how the co-op menu works. Do note: lower levels get the most rejection messages from all players. Make sure you stand out by writing a good application that states how active you are and why you think they should choose you out of hundreds of other applicants.

We are trying to expand Co-Op members from 7 to 9
We have over the $420k and all 6/6 of researchers. We are level 4 w/level 1 research.
The START button does not light up.
I am NOT seeing that we need to be a higher level co-op to make this expansion.
Thanks And why are there no GAME Guides?

[Edited: You need to be indeed level 4, have $420,000 in your co-op accounts and 6 researchers signed up. If all of that is correct, like you said, a deputy or the leader should be able to start the research. Did you try to clear caches yet?]

The only game guide available is the start-up tutorial you get when you just start the game. For the rest the forums are a great source of information. Our site also holds a lot of information, especially about co-ops but also about the game in general. If you need to know something specific, just ask one of the advanced players on the forums, they will find the information for you in a heartbeat.

I see you just got to level 4. Maybe if you do one more project and get into level 4 a bit more that it is clear for the co-op that you are on the correct level? Maybe that is the bug? Did you also try to click it already to see if it doesn't just work? (I suppose you have actually). If it still does not work, I think you should send in a ticket to support. Oh, yes, also check this first indeed - good one:

Haha, okay solved ^^ Thanks for sticking to the basics instead of drifting off to look for problems in higher difficulties like me, GeorgenOllie :P

Hi Larino. Sorry if I have missed something obvious and are wasting your time, but how can we get more than 5 members for our co-op? Is it a level thing or does the money and gold we have come into it? Thanks, Jo.

Neither of both ^^ Well indirectly the money and gold - but you need to do research. Here is the post that explains all: How to add more than 5 members

    Hello,

We read one of the posts you have listed and are hoping, please, that you might beable to clarify it for us?
We started asking for all members to donate 10 gold every week besides the normal ranch cash, to try and progress toward Co-Op research that costs gold.

BUT…We found out from one member that it would NOT let her donate any gold.
You have a post, #46, that says players MUST be either level 30 OR have purchased gold in order to donate it to a Co-Op.
Would you please help us to know what this rule is? We would like to fix our Co-Ops forum page etc…as soon as possible! We cannot and will not ask for gold from members who are not allowed to donate it : )

    Thank You Very Much,

    wildfireways : )
