Remember that we can now use the gourmet farm to produce eggs (task 1) & perhaps leaves (task 3) as well. :)

Edit : Yes the leaves count as well.

Yes; eggs are eggs, whether chicken or duck, and since the goats counted for "begin production of milk" in the alien event, I'm pretty sure that almonds and peaches will count for collecting leaves in this one too.

FYI, Melvin, except for the changed egg count, that info has already been posted and earlier in this thread and collected into the spreadsheet linked from the first post. Also, ss0209 collected all her spreadsheets from all the events into this one. At this point you only need to post anything that's missing or different from that spreadsheet.

When setting up the very first Fary Tale event, GGS gave the wrong happiness (32) to the frog prince well - they changed it back to 20 and compensated eveyone, so I guess you're looking at an old post.

I would need to pay 14 656 gold for 151 pages ? Seriously??

I did choose the extreme level, but come on, still...

Luckily desided before the event started, that I'm gonna try the hardest and getting it or not:)
Without using gold, we'll see if it's possible..

I would need to pay 14 656 gold for 151 pages ? Can this be right??

I need to collect 130 pages and I already have 25 pages. If I now want to skip the task, I need to pay 1 333 gold.

Step 5 at extreme level - 26,000 apples - seriously? That'll cost me $1,456,000 in lost income.

Yes the event is not cheap, for the lower level players neither, with less buildings tasks take longer to complete and still cost "hefty" amount of gold to quick finish.

what do you do, with the special seeds you earn as rewards you seed them all right away? or can you save them up for when needed in future ?

You can save them up and seed them later. Also after the event is over.

Nipre3 is right. But you also could use them on your fields in the next task of the event (breadcrumbs), magic beans and cherries give you the highest amounts of breadcrumbs.

it all depends on where you are.

my farm on skn is almost maxed out - and giving away 1.5 million dollars is no problem - i want the 78 happiness for the challenge

I have mainly 74 happiness decos on farm and wanted to get the 78 happiness, I just realized that there is no way 78 hapopiness is worth losing 1.5 million dollars. another instance of BF overvaluing their decos, as of now am stopping doing the event, will use the money for other things

I guess that you then not have try to get an telescope? (the Orphanage Charity Drive Event)

I really think it depends on the person, I am at a point where I am comfortable in the money I have and use it gradually to upgrade my farm, I donate to the coop on a regular basis and still debating whether 1.5 million dollars is worth it, I will do the current event not as fast as I can but consistently when I can, if I get the reward so be it, iiof I do not, will not cry, but I would like to have gotten them all so I can change them out every so often

magic beans gave me a lot of bread crumbs. I was not paying enough attention to see how many but it finished my task off when I was just thinking it would not be possible. Anyone know how many fire flies the magic bean and the rose will give?

Fire flies seem to be unreliable in everything except chicken feed so far

As a level 92 player with well developed farms, that's about one days profit. Personally I think it's worth it and spent that on the Nature event (not doing the specialist level on this one as I don't think the tower looks nice enough).
    Daytona,

The number of fireflies needed for the first level of difficulty is 660.

    Thanks Molly :)

One apple orchard is nowhere near enough and I see you're now building a cherry orchard which has a lower find rate per hour than apple orchards. I have 3 higher level apple orchards and build temporary level 1 orchards for the event. As a guide, 6 level 1 orchards will complete the event in 6 hours (ie 3 3hr batches) - have the first batch ready to harvest when you start the task.

Apple orchards are the most profitable thing on the main farm when they are used to make Apple Turnovers in the gourmet farm bakery.

Roses give ~12 per hour, about 33% more than corn. I haven't tested the magic beans yet.

Yup, this one's all about the mill, and in particular, milling corn.

Daytona sometime last year gave me the best tip ever to get through events, have a piece of land 10x10 available to put temporary production (orchards chook sheds, cow shed ect. ect.) While working my way up, this got me through a lot of things I couldn't have finished other wise.
I have on this land a stage 1 apple orchard, pile of goods (6x3), wagon (7x3) & a relic (4x3) as default & demolish apples to put whatever production I need, put the rest back into storage, it's best to have 12 free workers (2 stage 2 coops need 12 workers) don't upgrade to much you'll need to get rid of them quickly, & build what you'll need next, I also have decos in storage to mix in with whatever I build.
Have a think about it, it's served me well for a long time,
    Happy Farming
    George
