Help For A New "Big Farmer"

GypsyLadieGypsyLadie Posts: 1
Hello everyone,

I am new in this game, I mean "I have only been playing 2 days" new and I was wondering if there is a walk through, step by step guide, something to help a new player out and to understand what all the different parts of the game are about?

For instance;
What is a Cooperative and how does it work?
How do you invite friends to play?
What is the best way to make dollars and gold?

Why can you only have one action at a time going?

As far as I know, the closest thing to a walk through is the early quests, but I could be wrong.

Cooperatives are groups that can be upgraded to fit more members, make the products you sell sell for more and get lots of tips on how to play better if your coop-mates know more about what they're doing.

I'm not really sure how to invite. Never tried.

The best way to make dollars is grow the stuff that sells for a lot (apples and milk) unless you're online for a LOT of time, in which case eggs can actually beat milk in sales revenue because of how much you harvest. Don't sell anything that can be turned into feed unless you max out in storage for all of them.

Best way to get gold short of spending real money is making levels. You get tons early on, but save it up because the gold mine can get you more and the water tower is something everyone suggests you get first if you're going to spend gold.

The build limit is common in games of this type. It's a way of limiting you from advancing too fast. It will get less annoying as you reach higher levels and you start hurting for money. I'll have several days when I'm not building anything because of that. Btw, I'm going to send you a present in your PM inbox.

Well, I hate to advertise :P but you can start by clicking the link in my signature and visiting our site.

It has all information on cooperatives, some FAQ questions answered, the starting tutorial is there in pictures with extra info added by me. It also has some tips and tricks for beginners to make dollars and gold.

As for inviting friends to play, tell them somewhere about this awesome game and have them create an account :D The only way to play together would be to end up in the same cooperative though.

And why you can only have one action at a time going? Because this game is all about time management. If you could do everything at the same time it would get boring pretty soon ;) Also, you can speed up your actions with gold so you can start new (I would not recommend though - gold is pretty rare unless you have the money to buy new.)

There are also many tips and tricks in the tips and tricks forum - you can find them by doing a search or just open the forum and scroll through the threads. If you need any more information and you cannot find it, feel free to contact anyone on the forums. There are plenty of advanced players on here that would be glad to answer your questions. You can send them a private message by clicking their name on any post you found by them and then click private message. To message me you can also use the contact me link below.

I guess that's it for now :3 Have fun and good luck reading all the info available :D

Edit: Wildcard, how come I never get a present in my PM inbox? :( :P

What in the world could I get you? Maybe a nice picture of a unicorn for your avatar.

Hahaha - no I do not visit Facebook, I have nice co-op members that shout the code all around in messages and chat when they find it somewhere :P :D I was just kidding ^^ It is nice of you to send it over to the newbies :D

Oh, well I still figured you were already getting the codes from somewhere. Anyway, yeah, I wish I'd known about the codes when I first came to the forums.
