Missions and dollars

Before the missions update we used to earn dollars from the missions but now the concept has changed. We get no dollars now. I understand update is good since it is now for active players only , but this week i did not get any prize also for staying in the top 50 rankings. Will anyone suggest why I should play missions just for certificates which will be used somewhere later...

the mission certificates will be needed to buy machines in the garage being released in the update scheduled for May 14th (3 days from now) . . . these machines will be permanent boosters for your main farm. I would read the official announcement in the very 1st thread so you can see if you believe the four boosters coming would be beneficial to your game . . . me personally any booster that allows me to play the game more effective is worth it. They also have ideas for future uses for the certificates so even once you have bought and upgraded all four machines all four levels there will be a use for them later.

I have read the official announcement , and I know where to use certificates , but in this suggestion and criticism section , my main aim was about dollars which we are not able to earn now , hence my post was mixture of suggestion , criticism and praise

It all depends on the amount of happiness and extra workers we will get when these machines are fully upgraded. For me personally farm machinery in the real world increases production and profit so i'm a bit baffled by this update especially in regards to certificate and reputation point boosters. The certificate part may make sense if another update is brought in to make them more useful but reputation points are meaningless so I don't understand the reasoning behind a machine to increase them.

Seeing your name at the top of the leaderboard can be a thrill but its short lived.....at the end of the day its all about profits/making money to me so I preferred the old mission setup and rewards. Why cant certificates be used as a collectibles booster?? Why cant they be used as gourmet farm boosters? While the update does sound interesting there are so many other more meaningful directions GGS could have run with so I have to criticise the decision to make a rep point boosting machine.
