    HOW TO FIX THAT ASSIGN WORKER BUG

    Just upgrade anything that requires a worker an all the tasks that were stalled by that will be finished and you'll be able to collect your reward.

    It looks like GGS fired all the senior developers and now have only trainees in their work forces.

    Send us a contract, we can do some beta testing for you

    I just put a 5x5 deco in storage & built a temporary chicken coop to assign workers. That completed all the tasks that I needed to assign free workers for. A chicken coop doesn't take long to build so its a quick fix to complete all the tasks and get XP easily. :)

    For some that have upgrades going ( 14 hrs left on mine ) that's not a quick fix but once again players left to scramble with an update that should be tested before it goes all over the servers !

    I have the same problem whit lots of my buildings: cow stable, pig stable, fields, and several other buildings :(

    Won't work when I only have 2 workers to spare, and I'll have to wait for an architect to get more workers + then my happiness will go down, and... that's just an impossible solution, thanks anyway !

    i have a problem one or shall i say most of the side tasks cannot be completed
    one of them upgrade chicken coop to level 6 ticked i have done 6 of them all level 6 assign a worker cannot do it because its already done so wont tick as completed. same with most of them

    Ok and how about those that are upgrading things on other farms? Do we have to wait for our upgrade to finish for us to get out recurring quests back because GGS stuffed up yet another update? And take out a 5x5 deco? What about those mass-production farms that don't have any spaces left? Destroy a high level building for the sake of fixing a mistake that the update has caused?

    september, I tried building the house to get more free workers and it worked. A little bit of nonsense to get through the task, but effective enough.

    Store a couple more decorations - build a level one house and a garden or chicken coop - assign the workers - complete the tasks - destroy coop or garden and then destroy house - replace decorations - continue on with your game . . .

    Yup, this should work for now. If you'd like to wait, we'll remove the "assign workers" part of the quests with the next update - but George's method works perfectly well if you don't.

    And when is the next update??????????????
    The little suggested fix it does not work for me and for a lot of other players who don't have the room to do this.

    Also, because the uncompleted tasks are there wanting workers assigned, we don't have access to the 3 normal tasks on the main farm. They are not replaced after completion.

    Please fix this before the next update.

    It took my farm 8 minutes to build a coop and 4 to destroy . . . 12 minutes when my happiness was down because I stored the decorations needed to make the room. Now my happiness is back to the level I had originally, all tasks are completed, and I can see the three tasks perfectly fine. Or you can wait until they update it next week.

    Yes, sorry, so I shouldn't be aiming this post at you, but it was the perfect post to express my point...

    I was offering a solution to who ever it may help. If people are upgrading something on another farm then yes they'll have to wait but if they're upgrading on the main farm then they can assign workers as soon as the upgrade completes & it will complete those tasks. For the ones with mass production, well they'll just have to do whatever works for them or wait for the update to fix the tasks.

    I don't work for GGS so I have no control over what happens with the updates. However, if I have a helpful tip I will share it because even if I only helped one person then my post wasn't a waste. :)

    By this You tell us that it wont be fixed TODAY whit a hotfix and we'll have to wait to next week or next month to get this problem solvede or tear down a architect level building to get space on a factory farm to get the space so we can get back to our normal sidetasks their are now blocked by another mess up update ??????????

    Okay I have a problem, I have a task to have a level 6 Field. Now I had a level 6 Field a couple months ago, in fact I had 5 level 6 Fields. But then I took them down to build 7 Level 2 Fertile Fields which I will probably never get to level 6. So my questions is, does the building have to currently be on your farm for it to count towards the task? Or will it count if I had the building on my farm say a couple months ago?
    And to make that questions even shorter, am I gonna have to build another level 6 field when I had already had one not to long ago?

    You don't have to tear down a valuable building. Store a few decos, build and then destroy a house and coop, then put the decos back. It is silly but it is much better than tearing down a leveled up building.

    Okay I have a problem, I have a task to have a level 6 Field. Now I had a level 6 Field a couple months ago, in fact I had 5 level 6 Fields.     I suspect in this case, you are going to need to build a level 6 field to accomplish this task. I don't think there is anyway the computer can "see" the data from a couple of months ago.

    *Sigh* Well that is gonna take a while. Considering, first I have to finishing upgrading a goat stable. Then on main farm I will have to upgrade 4 houses, then build and upgrade the level 6 field. :(

    Very disappointing - feels like a Work of art, has been more or less destroyed.

    Besides, it seems we will not reach to finisk our common project in time, since evryone i too occupied, finding af solution to all the new problems and tasks-

    Am on a Skandinavian server, we always seems to be forgotten.

    The new task have shown up for my main farm. Question. How do I assign workers to buildings that are already updated ? For example I need a level 6 cow shed to complete the task. I already have 6 of them. I also need to assign workers. I did that when I upgraded but, that is not showing in the task. Please help.

    Same here with assign new workers. Can't be completed have no where to assign them to.

    Sorry, never heard of the term factory farm. Now understand what you mean, have seen farms with no deco's.

    Why, oh why, does nothing ever work?

    That side task worker bug keeps me from getting xp. At my level, it's basically the only way to get any.
    Were we getting too many or not enough certificates? I've already done tons of missions.

    Going forward, does GGS have a plan in the works for how they are going to solve the problem of rolling out updates that are full of bugs? This has gotten really, really old- really, really fast. I have truly never seen another game this sloppy and unprofessional.

    Read post 43 above if You are not running a factory farm whit no free space

    Sorry, never heard of the term factory farm. Now understand what you mean, have seen farms with no deco's.

    Maybe it's my fault or poor english seems to remember them called massproduction farms also :-)

    But Yet again seems that I'll get stuck whit a bug for the whole holliday or going to pay a costly sum to fix their mistake
