Please don’t attack other players for speaking their mind – being for or against the changes.
You can only achieve making others angry or sad – it won’t bring things back to what they used to be or give you any new benefits in Bigfarm.
If you don't like the recent changes, then address the ones, who are responsible (GGS) in a polite and constructive manner without name-calling and referencing issues, that aren’t related to the decisions that have been made regarding these changes.
The GGS are the only ones, who can take back the changes or make them less annoying
watermill(lvl 5) bt still cnt feed them all simultaneously.
X(
trying so hard to run them so nothing remains idle
lets c how much time it takes
forgot to tell i have a water tower (level1)
am new player in big farm can you become cooperative
hello... hope u r enjoying the game.. u can search for cooperative on this site..http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/forumdisplay.php?587-Cooperative-Search
So.... they only fix is to sell off goods AT A LOSS??? Or put up with the bakery bug for a few more days.
I'll put up.
I tell ya, this "improved" farm NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN ROLLED OUT! Clearly it was not ready.
CLEARLY NO ONE BOTHERED TO TEST IT!
I would think the huge embarrassment of rolling out a bakery with numbers in the loss range would be something they would want to get fixed within 24 hours. Not a WEEK!
And what you all never see is all the players who never visit this forum. I'm in three coops. ALL THREE have players who figured out the bakery is loosing money. Some have just torn it down. The gourmet farm is now a poo farm. Yea, gourmet poop. I tried to tell people this will be fixed. One comment back is "how did such a mistake happen in the first place?"
I had no answer for that. 3rd grade math drop outs perhaps? Maybe greed? Too busy figuring out ways to force people to spend money to bother putting out a quality product?
Go back to grade school. PASS a basic math class or two. Then try a marketing class.
UNHAPPY or confused customers, means lost customers. At least in two of the coops I'm in, membership has dropped. Granted that's a small percentage of everyone who plays this, but still. The complaints are the same here as in the coop chat. And lots of those folks never read this stuff. What are you doing?
GG... you really aught to put a big universal NO sign over the bakery until you get it fixed. Or at least one of your flashing annoying things for people to read that yes it's broken, yes you know, yes it will be fixed. Just hold off on using it for now.
For starters, you might want to take a look at how long it takes to mill the feeds, let alone grow the feedcrops. It takes longer to mill donkey feed than cow feed, but donkeys cycle twice as often as cows.
Milling 30 bags of donkey feed in a Level 5 mill takes 4 hours, but those 3 stables full of donkeys will be ready to eat again in 3-1/2 hours. With a level 5 water tower, the donkeys would require half as much feed, so milling for 4 hours could feed them for 7 hours.
Ducks cycle every 8 hours, and their feed takes a little less than an hour, so milling duck feed for a little less than 3 hours would feed one duck coop for a day.
Goats cycle every 52 minutes, and their feed takes 8 minutes to mill, so supplying 3 goat stables with feed will require you to mill goat feed for 24 minutes out of every 52 minutes you are logged in.
A water tower will reduce the amount of feed required by the animals (and fertilizer required by orchards), and a workshop reduces the amount of feedcrops needed by the mill (also dung required by the silo and leaves required by the composter).
I don't know your play patterns - how often you login, how long you play at a time, etc. - so I can't offer any specific suggestions, but I would guess you have more stables than the mill can support.
i'll try to figure out this
With a level 5 mill and mostly level 4 gardens, I can keep up with my 3 goats during the day as long as I'm not milling or growing anything else while I'm active.
For donkeys, you definitely want your gardens at least level 3; barley production jumps from 39 to 51 there. I demolished my donkey anyway after I considered the production cycles for them; I think I only built it at all because of its info typo (now fixed) saying it gave 1102 dung at level 1.
I'm still considering whether I want to bother building a duck. I definitely won't do it at all until all 5 of my gardens are level 4. The level 5 mill uses 105 lamb's lettuce per batch of duck feed, so with the gardens at 124 lamb's lettuce, I can only get almost 6 batches of duck feed per night, but that would support 3 ducks, or almost 2 if I'm good about reliably getting online every 8 hours. Level 7 gardens plus level 6 mill will produce 8 batches of duck feed overnight (I'm ignoring the "max 200" on the mill because you need many more gardens to produce that much lamb's lettuce), but it will take quite a while to get enough architect visits for that. Plus, I'm broke again anyway, and it will take me a lot longer now to earn my building costs. Gotta work on the flower farm some more...as soon as I scrape together enough money...
l think it will become more gourmet as time progresses....I love the gourmet concept so I'm hoping it retains the name.
Love,
Hayseed Lil
in MF with level6 mill I produce cow feed in 40 mins which produces milk for 7 hrs
here i produce donkey feed in 1.20 hrs for 3.30 hrs production
still trying to figure out best combination
or in last i will demolish one or more stables
Did you post this from the pool?
I'm actually liking the new gourmet farm. A lot. And I'm not one who likes change that much. Completely new strategy in the works for me and that is what I really like about this game. And what I really really like is that I can now use the gf to the benefit of my co-op. We do a LOT of milk and eggs.
Latten is still saying Wednesday (hopefully) when the update is planned to happen (hopefully).
Then event will be 2x harder, well maby it's ok how it is?
As things look, Wednesday won't work, prepare for Thursday - also not yet confirmed!
Edit: Yup, probably next week
With finances or your farm
How about let's just say at the end of the month just to be sure. :P
Hope that we can be making money soon.
Will be next birthday gift...
