She sounds like a wonderful person ;)

I think there will be something coming in the future so that people can help out their fellow co-op members a bit more & I am excited to see what it will be.

Yes monica79538, the farmers of FARMING FORWARD are excited too! Some of the co-op members are considering a GIFT CERTIFICATE MOVEMENT! I have noticed that BiG FARM takes care of the players by noting suggestions and ideas presented, and I am sure that game site management will eventually add a feature that allows us to help one another in this matter!

Since the Holiday season is drawing nigh and because many cultures participate in gift-giving during this time as an expression of their joy and gladness, I propose that the good folks at GGS consider including an option whereby BF gold could be bought by any player and given as gifts to other players.

I envision a player buying a certain allotment of gold and then being able to subdivide it into as many gifts to fellow players as he or she chooses and in any amounts within that allotment. A little To/From note would be a nice touch and the From field could even include familiar holiday figures (Santa, etc) should the giver wish to remain anonymous.:)

    Peace,
    HM

That's cute. Maybe if it was a small amount (like the values used for the Twins) that wouldn't be a bad idea. I like the idea of being able to gift things to my friends.

Wouldn't require a lot of coding, either. And a money-maker for GGS. Just need to tweak Naughty or Nice a bit. Of course transferring gold is not gonna work from a cheating perspective, but that's not really a problem. Just make that one "nice" item for real cash purchase only.

I would like to know if it will ever be possible for Players to send gold and cash to another player. Maybe the developers can add a donation icon in a players info box in between their sticker book icon and the compare achievements icon. Just like we currently donate to co-ops gold and cash, I would like to be able to donate gold and cash to an individual.

Will something like this ever be available?

    Thanx

About a year ago, a very nice lady allowed me the use of her PaySafe card and pin number. I don't know very much about how they are purchased, but they are accepted at the payment shop to buy gold.

Won't happen :) We might add some more options to gift stuff to other players, but it surely won't be a simple "Send X gold to Y" option, we discussed that multiple times.

    Sorry guys,

Don't know if this has been suggested or not, but you could make multiple accounts and transfer all the gold to one main account thus allowing anyone to exploit this feature and have theoretically unlimited gold. In short, this would ruin the game and GGS' economy

Im not saying that they should introduce a birthday present because yes that would happen and i agree with you. Maybe i wasn't clear enough. i meant that because there isn't one, i personally as a coop leader would like the ability to gift my members, using my gold that i had purchased/earned, thereby acting as a "birthday-present-giver" hah.

That could still be exploited like this:

    1. Make a main account.

    2. Make another account.

    3. Start a cooperative from either account.

    4. Make second account co-op leader and "Gift" all gold to main account.

    5. Repeat steps 2-5 and repeat until needs are satisfied (probably never because virtual addiction is very bad).

    6. Enjoy.

    See?

Although you have good intentions, rishi, sadly there are those who would exploit it in the wrong way. I do applaud your wanting to reward your fellow coop members, though. It shows that you care. Bravo! :D

I think you should be able to buy a gold voucher with a one time use code to it. That way you could give the voucher to who you wanted to with the one time use code. They in turn could go to the add gold & turn in the voucher one time use code & receive their gold. That way it could not be abused. You would still be getting your money for the gold & if someone wanted to help another member they could.

What if there was a cap on how much gold you could gift, and how often? I assume gifts would be relatively rare; perhaps you can't gift to the same person within a 6 month period or something. And maybe the amount you could gift could also be limited to how much you would donate in gold for those stupid gifts from the ginger kids or something, like less than 1000 gold.

Of course if you REALLY wanted to exploit this you still could get around it but it would be WAY more cumbersome; kinda like the current thing where if you go away for a while GGS gives you gold to come back, and you could exploit that as well. But in reality it's too cumbersome to exploit and most people wouldn't be bothered.

I do like the idea of being able to gift other players either Gold or Farm Dollars.

There is a thread some what like this that has the concept of buying Certificates that you could give to other players. If you buy a Certificate with Dollars you can give Dollars, if you buy a Certificate with Gold you can give Gold or Dollars. You can find that thread HERE.

WOW, that would be so cool to be able to help a Co-op member to get some gold. I know I would gift gold if I could... Great suggestion...

There is a very simple solution. Allow players to buy gold for someone else's account. That way you gift it straight from your credit card, not from your existing gold. Gifting from your bankroll invites all kinds of cheating. GGS will never implement such a feature, IMO.

One person here was enticing players to join her coop by announcing that she would GIVE them gold and real money. It came to light that she was purchasing small amounts of cash ($25.00) on Visa gift cards and providing the code numbers of the cards to the persons she wanted to rewards. That is not against any GGS policies or rules.

I'm not sure they will ever gift gold. I would love to see a gift idea. There have been requests in other threads to implement a gifting system. Latten has forwarded the idea and i hope it goes through.

You can go to Subway or CVS and buy a gift card then give the recipient the card # and Pin ( there are actually 8 different gift cards that are acceptable at the payment shop.)

Just tell them which card and amount.

It would be so nice if there comes an option in game to TRANSFER GAME MONEY or GOLD BETWEEN PLAYERS.
It would help high level players to support small level players,
It would help coop leaders to give reward and encourage the coop members,
It would be a helping hand between friends.

That would be a good thing but unforunately it's very abusive sensitive which is why it will probably never be done..... Sorry :(

Ezio means that if GGS started something like this - it is easy for cheaters (and there are some in the Big Farm environment) to find ways to abuse it so they personally gain (or their co-op). It is one of the main reasons why GGS will never implement it.
