Money lost on gourmet buildings demolition

nana28282nana28282 Posts: 133
We were told we'd get the full cost of the buildings including the upgrades when our gourmet farm buildings and fields were demolished. From what I have seen in my case, I only received about 1/2, meaning what I would have been able to make myself if I had just demolished the buildings on my own. Right now I am out over 30,000,000 and I am nowhere near the upgrade levels and number of buildings I had prior to this morning. Not cool, GGS, not cool at allX(

Thumbs down - I agree 100%... speaking of 100%,... that is where my HARD EARNED HAPPINESS used to be until it was taken by GGS. Not a good move GGS by doing that.....
Worked hard to get to that level and sustain it... now we get stroked...Not cool at all.....Once again, we the players dictate GGS income.....need I say more?

sure seems like they did not give the full price wonder if they gave us what was needed to just replace what we had vs what we paid for the old things i for one think is rude tell us we get what we paid for / into the buildings and then give a lot less

Guys, the full amount was credited to your account for all the buildings and upgrades you had done with the removed buildings.

I love that you keep posting the same answer, when it is just not true. People are not complaining about the dollars being refunded. People are complaining about the gold being refunded. Dollars were refunded. Gold was not. They just should have been more honest about this fact.

Actually, MaebyKnott, you are not speaking for me. I am NOT complaining about the gold, since I understand the reasoning behind not refunding gold for speeding up completion of buildings. I AM complaining about the amount that was paid for the buildings that were removed from my gourmet farm. I do not, for one, believe that I was refunded in full for the cost of of the farm items and their upgrades. I still think I only got demolition costs. I am down way too much money for it to make sense otherwise

It's not just about the money. WHY WERE THESE CHANGES MADE? The Gourmet Farm was much better the way it was before. It takes forever to get enough ingredients for the bakery. I don't like the transfer truck. There is no restaurant anymore. I need entire fields just to feed the ducks, donkey and goats - and for what? This is not fun and not money maker. In my opinion, they ruined it. What were they thinking? It was better the way it was.

it does seem that almost any changes they've made in the last few months have been to their benefit and not to ours, Fannyfarmer, and have been a "step down" instead of an improvement. The much trumpeted 'improvements' to the gourmet farm have resulted in 50,000,000 less in my bank account, in a bakery that does nothing but lose me more money, and in less pleasure and satisfaction in playing this game. Who wants to play a game where most of your inner responses to it are "meh", or "crap, again?"

I can assure you you didn't only get the demolition costs, you got the complete buying price of every building on your farm, as well as every single upgrade price.

Well, latten, in that case the price of rebuilding the gourmet farm is 3 times the price of the old gourmet farm, and since it makes no money now, has become just a 'pretty money pit'

Just wait till they make it so that you have to pay gold to actually turn a profit. Oh wait, too late. Wait till they do the same upgrade :( to the flower farm.
