People who buy more gold get the lower % but people who do not buy gold often get the higher %? This doesn't make sense to me.
Some people get 200% sale and others get 50% sale Should I buy more gold at 50% when others get 200%? I don't think so. X(
i used to buy gold every 2 weeks i have never had the offer

Probably.
I have never seen the 200% gold offer ever. Though I have seen the 50% gold offer often these past few days. It pops up almost immediately each time after I logged on to my farm.
No, hedghogplop, it has nothing to do with that. The offer only opens when you sign in, and lasts for 1/2 hour or so, but it waits for you to sign in to show up and it is personalized to YOU (including them using your name in it). So you are not missing it for that reason
i know this is so unfair to other players everyone should be offered the same ... same amount... same time but as unfair as it is you still buy it
Thank you, I really wasn't sure about the mechanics of when the offer "appears" on any given farm. It's a shame some folks aren't seeing this opportunity, I was happy to see it but it came round when I wasn't prepared to buy no matter the deal so c'est la vie.
Let's say most everywhere you go, apples cost one dollar each. Let's say in one store, (that you shop in because your prefer the decor), apples cost five dollars each. Compared to the other stores where apples are one dollar each, when the store you shop in offers a 'buy one - get two free' deal, is it so fantastic then?
I've played a fair number of online games in my time, and still do. This is a fair comparison, IMO.
As for your apologist explanation of the mechanism at work, I login many times each day, and at varying times and haven't seen this +200% offer. If it was truly random, I'd have hit it by now.
Spending real money money on GG is money spent to waste our time.
It seems to me GGS doesn't want us to buy gold.
Well I stopped buying gold quite a while ago... When I was buying gold, I never got more than 100% offer. Then after I stopped, i got 150%, and now 200%. It might just be a coincidence, or perhaps they just offer such deals to player that haven't bought gold in a long time to convince them of buying gold...
lol, ya one of my post also got deleted recently... mysteriously disappeared without a trace. The post was concerning another issue concerning gold but it wasn't offensive or anything.. it had however been rendered less relevant due to another post but still... It's a bit disconcerting that censorship is practiced by GGS (I am not talking about closing thread which is perfectly justifiable, or censoring offensive posts...)
Now I don't want this thread to turn into GGS bashing. I think the 200% offer is there as an incentive for player who haven't bought gold in a long time. I only got the 150% and 200% gold offers when I stopped buying golds (for reasons I don't want to get into right now...Edit:lol, just realized that the main reason actually was in the post that got deleted... oh well, I'm done caring about that)
After holding out for over a month, and after countless +50% 'exclusive' offers and a few +100% 'exclusive' offers, I saw a +150% 'exclusive' offer today. Add another 50% to that and we can deal, GGS.
