Option to contact inactive coop members

Is there already a way for us to directly e-mail members of our cooperative that have gone missing for 7 days or more?

Instead of booting, I wonder if there is a button where you can send an urgent message to the member, and then Big Farm would route it to their chosen e-mail address that they used to register the game? That is my suggestion to the coop feature if it isn't already in place.

We have 3 people that haven't shown up in 7 days and I guess it's only fair to tell them that they need to log on or else they'll get booted.

If the members have a profile in forum you can write a message there and it will be visible in their forum profile and a copy will be sent to their choosen email.

If they have no profile in forum I do not know of any way to contact them.

The coops I am in send a pm to them before booting them, and asking them to send an explanaton to the leader if they want to come back later.

We send a letter explaining the booting, and if they come back and want to rejoin then we'll talk to them about it.

I don't think I'd be comfortable having people on an internet farming game being able to contact me personally via email. Also GGS already sends those "please come back because your animals are sad and hungry" spammy mails to them if they are away for some amount of time.

God, I hate those mails :D But I agree with Jay that contacting me on my personal mail is not something that I want :)

I have to agree with Jaystarr and ezio some people are a little freaky here on bigfarm. Lol while most are not, every now and then you get the occasional stalker type lol. I have gotten through to people through the forum as well (for instance when the glitch happened and everyone was shut out). I also advise what jaystarr recommends, to just send an email out to players via the system the game provides you. This is what I do for the really good players we have when they suddenly cease playing in case they had an emergency. If they return to the game they are welcome back in our coop. hope this helps. take care.

I didn't know it worked that way untill i asked for a recespie from farm meal competition and received it both here in forum and in my private email.

was really surprised - but as i asked for it and the sender could not see my email - it did not complain

I have a Hotmail account that I use especially for all the games, other forums and other things I might sign up for. I never use my normal email for these.

Agree with all above ( just puzzled there is such a thing as a normal email?? ( joke) )
it would not feel like a game anymore if it kept calling me back to work, and made me feel guilty because real life or another hobby had become more important/fun.

Yeah we have a player who is always freezing up....so I leave her a message to contact us if she wants back in....give her the boot so she can reboot :D

I like many of you don't think it is a good idea to give out your personal e-mail acct. Heaven forbid u get someone mad at u...:(

I didn't know GGS sends out personal e-mail ( guess because I'm always here everyday) bet if they offered some GOLD they'd get some returns...

You can set up your forum account (actually I think it's the default setting from memory) to send you an email whenever you receive a PM on here so technically, you can email someone if you get desperate and they have a forum account.
