Hi folks

Thought it may lighten the forum and send a message to GGS. So have started a post asking people to suggest how they will be spending the money they will now be saving.

Here is my current list so far:

Holiday

Another garden shed

Some more Sultan and Silkie Eggs to hatch

Another camera lens

Some more Frontosas
and a fund to keep great players like Undertaker

It should bring a sense of fun to the forums to see what people are now going to spend money on.

Have fun xxx:)

Peggyegg

Happyhens coop currently ranked # 4 and happy to lose ranking on point of principle

    OOOH nice thread :D

Yarn and a new crochet hook ;) I want to keep making a blanket for my son. I will try to find a good picture of one, since I don't think I will be here to show it when it is completed. I will need about $35 to have enough--I still have that much from 2 Christmas ago.
I had been saving it for something to buy on the game, but...I think it will be wasted if i invest it here. ;(

Desperately trying to stay positive or I truly think I will not make it through.

    Nice topic! :)

I'm saving up for something. I'm not sure what yet. Probably books. Or other games. ;)

Definitely continue saving for what I have been saving ever since I graduated (and I did not buy any more gold in that period either). And what am I saving for? Well for all those extra driving classes - I am a noob so need quite some more >.> And visits to my only and best friend that lives on the other side of the country - public transport is expensive... :D

    Hi Larino
That sounds a good plan. Maybe you can start a travel blog when you make your journey. If you do, will you consider taking an egg and painting a face on it and attach a note and take a photo of it then send it to us at Happyhens. The reason I ask is that is what we do in our coop and post it on our webpage.

A word of caution don't do what I done when I took eggie (that's what I call my travelling companions) to the
Stuttgart Beer festival last year after her photograph shoot I put her back in my bag and forgot about until a week later, Not a good smell. I hope they found the eggie I left in the Luxembourg spa hotel,
You can find amazing places to put eggies. One of the Para gliders in the Black Forest took an eggie on a flight and realeased him to do a free fall. Don't think eggie survived that one. We leave little notes with the eggies, Latest ones were eggie left on a plane with a note asking for Political Asylum and one eggie that was claiming the throne at
    Alhambra Palace.

It would be good if you had a eggie go on your travels with you. She/he can be your friend, and there is the bonus that if you are ever caught in a hungry situation, eat him.

    Have fun Larino xxx

nice thread!! I have spent SOOOO much on this game that in just a few months of saving I may buy me a new used car!! Yes I have been spending that much!! My bad

With what I spent here in a month I could easily put that towards a new car payment...I could use a new one. Or I can go and buy my husband a different car...he could use that. I won't be on here so I'll have lots of time on my hands so maybe I'll redo my flower beds and spend more time out in them. I'd have enough for one car payment and save the rest, then in 6 months maybe take a trip to visit my children. Thinking that's the way I'll go!

Lol, you make it sound like I am going to travel around the world XD It is just a 2 hour train travel, maybe 3 :P (but still expensive as hell! - for a graduated student without a job that is) I wouldn't have much time to paint an egg and it would not survive the massive load of baggage I would bring (yes for just a week or so) containing clothes, loads of gifts and games :D Last Christmas I made full gift bags for the whole family - existing from 4 people :P It took up the space of one entire travelling bag. And then I had another suitcase for my clothes. When I went back home after 3 weeks I had half the baggage I had when I went there :P

I will probably spend my money on a trip to Australia. I have relatives there which I hadn't seen for such long time. So not buying gold for this game gets me even closer to realizing that trip :D

love the thread. Well not buying anymore gold here and considering it was my one enjoyment, i think i will spend some money on myself for a change. I never buy anything for myself because well that's the way i am. i think my children need things way more than i do so i never get anything for myself. But i think i will finally get something nice for myself.

This is very appropriate and excellent timing. I need to spend my money on some repairs for my snowmobile. Then I can get out more and enjoy the rest of winter.

    hi plowshare,

Ok I am now green with envy, we booked a snowmobile adventure when we were at Lake Tahoe. Then the operators cancelled saying it was a white out so unsafe to ride :o( I guess safety comes first so will have to wait until I have the opportunity again, maybe in Iceland. If you can get an eggie picture in your snowmobile that would be great

    Hi Maria

When you look at it the world is really a smaller place than we sometimes imagine. What part of Oz are your family in. My sister lives in Sydney and is home in June for a holiday. She has live out there a long time and would not return to the UK to live. Maybe start your fund now and keep us updated.

stay safe and you can make your wishes come true xx

This is a good idea. It wouldnt hurt for us all to get outside while we're at it. I live on a lake, so I think I'll get some fishing gear and some accessories for my kayak!

    Hi lonestar

A wax footbath and foot massage followed by a polish, sounds fab, in between time you could set a trend by smothering feet with Lanolin or Vaseline then wrapping feet in plastic bags for bedtime. Not exactly a turn on unless partner has a foot in a plastic bag fetish. It does soften the feet overnight. Let us know when you have had your pedicure or foot wrap, photos could be fun x

Not going to spend money, going to download games, play them then delete them. Can't deal with the multitude of changes here.
