    I'm glad the Deco Tower isn't on the way at least on my screen, it's basically hidden behind the "Next Harvests" display window, it's great that it's not right next to the farm. But I have to echo the others here; the bugs are pretty annoying.

    All this "don't move your decorations" and co-op chat not working, the pencil icon is glitched to the top of the window and one has to press the green "enter" icon to send messages in stead of pressing enter. :'D
    I hope it gets fixed soonish, pretty inconvenient. ;o

    Actually, yes, you are right about this, Alex.. I hadn't thought of it that way. I'd only thought about replacing 8 with 8, not 16. This could be advantageous if I get 16 x lvl 1's afterall. Having that many going at the same time in missions and I probably won't need to use humus to win most of the missions, will I? Should also be very good for projects. Still, I'd like to have all the facts before I go changing them.

    However, having said that, this still doesn't change my opinion of the level 7 fertile fields: they are way too expensive and this is just a money grab.

    Why am I unable to place decorations in the spots that they had just been in? 5X5 decorations do not fit in 5x5 spots anymore......

    Its neither here nor there really but just an observation that the lower level decos removed from the farm & stored in inventory are not accounted for in the tower. This really serves no useful purpose anyway. Its all about gold but no one has to buy gold. Just play & not compete. Waste of time & money to try to compete.

    Since the item movement bug is way more tricky to fix than we first expected, we'll move the hotfix to tomorrow, probably to around regular update time :(

    Just to keep you in the loop guys. We'll try, of course, to fix all bugs that did arise with this update, so I really hope you understand that we'd rather like to wait a day and fix it all, instead of just one or two of those bugs for this week.

    It's a bug that should be fixed tomorrow. You will need to wait before you can buy your decs :(

    I dont think the space that one field occupies will be able to accomodate 2 because there is usually an allowance of space around each. Also I am pretty sure the upgrades will be exorbitant. $350 to start is just to suck you in.

    errr...i must admit...i am disappointed. the game spends a lot more data now with the library (i use mobile data from my cellphone company to play, as i don't have a separate internet connection), which is interesting to look at but just fluff, to be honest.

    the fertile fields...nope, not worth the upgrade cost at higher levels. maybe it's ok for an extra Level 1 field that never gets upgraded, but then i'd have to build up the workers to place it (at the minimum, a loss of 35 happiness points and 25 squares of space).

    i just can't reason that it is a good gold buy for really only marginal return on production and without a reasonable price for upgrade possibilities or productivity returns on upgrades. the gold price to double production is just outrageous, even for one field.

    it also couldn't be a temporary field for events or missions because the gold is lost once . maybe they can make it so it can be put away like decorations? something like this for water tower and workshop would be welcomed as well.

    in all, super disappointed with this update. the deco tower is a fringe benefit, the fertile field is too expensive to upgrade (much like many of the farm boosters), and the added prime time/day spendings are unattractive. it's hard not to be disillusioned.

    supposedly though the news says that advanced players will be able to choose their level of event play. that would help get some of those lower event decks that are won at the end of the end. maybe a low enough level would allow us to play twice in a week or so. that would be useful.

    Ok, first I understand about bugs. Any time something new is done, there will be bugs. I'm sure they will get to it in time.

    But.... I just gotta say here.
    1. That tower, is really about the dumbest thing you folks ever did. There is NO perk to having it what so ever.
    A sky scraper has NOTHING to do with farming. Other really good suggestions, like raising horses, have been shot down because they have nothing to do with farming. So what the hell????? The bugs that flew out because of this are NOT worth it. And it's not even possible to fill. Many of the decor items were for events while at a low level. If one didn't make it at that level, then advanced before the event rolled around again, the early forms of decor are no longer possible to obtain. So it is impossible to fill the building even if anyone wanted to.

    2. Fertile field? I'm not even going to try it. Already I've read how expensive upgrades are.
    And again.... and again and again....
    Until you folks put some form of security so gold is not so easy to accidentally lose, I'm not putting one more dime into this. I would if I knew it would be there when, and only when I really want to spend it.
    Not blowing it on special seeds I didn't realize I was out of. Or an accidental mouse click too close to a house upgrading. Poof gone! Too many ways to just whoopsie away real cash money!

    So instead of putting in a stupid idiotic building showing us what we already know, and giving us NOTHING for the space it takes, why not work on a gold lock? Or a prompt "are you sure" before spending. (Which a player might have an option to turn off.)
    SOMETHING.

    Want my money? That has to happen first.

    Sorry folks, these two upgrades get a big thumbs down from me.

    Im not the sharpest tool in the box I don't mind admitting that . But please, what am I missing here? - the dec tower - I just don't get it? why? whats the point?

    im assuming the next update will be (along with all the bug fixes of coarse) an option that you can obtain dynamite from your mine to blow up the new building. now ild spend money for that.


    In process of contacting US patent office for dynamite idea. Will let GGS purchase it from me for 1,000,000,000 gold once it is approved

    I am on board with everyone else saying that this new tower is a disappointment. What is the point? I don't need to see what decorations I have already. I don't need to see them in greater detail. I also don't need to see the ones I don't have because I'm just not interested in spending gold or doing an event differently just to see the lower level decorations. It looks terribly out of place, just like the library (yes a good feature to have, but the tabs at the bottom of the screen is sufficient). Two very modern buildings next to a farm looks really strange.

    This placement glitch is extremely irritating. I'm trying to build new buildings to make the event tasks easier to complete and I can't put decorations down to fix the happiness. Or build houses. Please fix this.

    I'm also interested in the dynamite idea. The game ran just fine without these extra things next to our fields. The signs, and buildings need to go please.

    So we lose an entire day of building time during the event. And have lower happiness because of it. Frustrating.

    lolol...i would love that...i agree with sentiments that these new buildings just don't fit the farming aura of the game...i could kind of excuse away the library because i look books and have a room with a wall of books...but that was personal...it still doesn't make the library "fit" with the farm environment...and the deco building is just...it's hard to find words to describe the absolute pointlessness and ill-fittedness of this building. just futile pixel space.

    i hate to be the one to say it, but this deco tower is just another gold lure. yes, the designs of the decos are beautiful. but there are other ways to see them up close. maybe another two levels of zooming in would give the same thing? may cost a bit more to develop, but then we'd be able to see everything up close. why just decorations? the lure works either by making you feel admiration for the game designers (which cause you to want to invest in them more with gold spending) or by making you long for all the decorations you don't have (which may have the same effect).

    I will say that though that I have not bought any gold decorations, and that has been strategic. When i first started playing on us 1, i bought the most expensive farm cash deco that I could with my money. then, i was fortunate to join a coop that showed me the poor insight of that approach. better to get the cheapest farm cash deco and then the event decos (bought or won). so, there will be lots of darkened out pixels in my deco tower, which does not give me a positive affect. it makes me feel empty, which is negative energy, which will dampen my spirits about the game. not increase my investment in the game.

    i just have to keep reminding myself that this game is free-to-play, and that helps. i was considering refilling my Paypal account, but the excessive adverts for gold and unreasonable pricing for gold options just pushes me to completely erase that idea.

    This is why an event should not start on the same day that there are new upgrades/updates being done on the servers. There are already bugs that they are trying to fix from the previous updates/server updates, then add the new updates with an event; an explosions of bugs/issues all over the farms. So now we are all dealing with bugs/issues from all of this and at the same time trying to inform and report what other new bugs/issues have come up, so 2 small issues have now turned in to 7 ( just number's I throwed out for reference to the bugs, maybe more or less). It would be so much easier to move one or the other (updates and events) to seperate days, so that whatever issues do come up, you have the time to work on those and insure that those are fixed before the next option of the event or the updates are done. This will allow the weeding out and pinpointing out exactly wehre the issue is, what is causing the issue, what it will take to fix it, how long it will take to fix, and if it is worth fixing now or temporarly putting off to the next week updates.

    I guess it would be a good idea at this point to take a screen shot of your farm before your start to remove/add decos/houses/productions facilites just for your own security. Just in case these items/things get lost in outerspace and you can't get it back or find it and you will need to contact support about your lost items, you have a screen shot that you can send with the note to support to back up your request. I know that recently I noticed that I don't have 2 telescopes that I used to have, I have never sold anything (decorations) and I know that I never deleted it casue I would have remembered. Just like sometimes when I level up I don't always get my gold or when I sign in everyday on those days that I am suppose to get gold sometimes I don't get it.

    Also my farm is a big blurr and my game is very very slow. I have done the cleaning/clearing browsers/caches deleted history and still my game is slow, but my other pages are moving as they normally do and are not slow. So it's not my computer.

    Now that we have recieved word that the fix will be put off untill tomorrow, how does that affect the players whose farms are in a mess and those that can't build decos or temps houses/productions to do the UFO event? Will the UFO event be extended to help us with these inconveniences? What should we expect and what is to be exopected now at this point? Build or not to build?

    Added @ 11:26AM: I feel like I need a pair of 3D glasses or the ones they give at the eye doctors when they dialate your eyes, for all of this glare/blurr.

    i completely agree with you EnochNock...very poor timing for the release of new updates. i typically build temporary buildings to get through events...that is not going to happen now, don't want to take the risk...maybe just sit this event out for the week?

    i empathize with folks' frustration levels. love the game itself. don't love all the fringe wretchedness.

    Oh by the way, I'm absolutely in agreement with the development of a safety feature for upgrades to buildings requiring gold. My mom lost 20,000 in gold because her screen froze while loading up. She tried clicking on the screen to help with the reload and then when the game did load up, her mine was upgrading. She couldn't get the gold back because Big Farm said all gold, purposeful or accidental, is final and not reversible.

    So if you want my (well my mom's) money for gold, I really think Big Farm/GGS needs to make this safety feature. I'll feel more confident having gold if it is implemented.

    All these new ideas that we see in the upgrades might be nice for some people, but they are just aesthetic. The game isn't more rewarding with them.

    Please consider developing the gold spending safety feature, even if it is just for building upgrades. That's it. Nothing too hard perhaps?

    Is there going to be any recourse for the borked up farms? Like, I'm not asking for gold or compensation, but even extending the event by a day and a half to make up for the bugfixes wouldn't go amiss.

    IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THE GAME WORK, DOWNGRADE TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION !!!

    The Tower is good for nothing, we won't miss it for a couple of days, until you fix all those bugs :)

    Since they are not fixing anything today,Helps if things was tested before adding to game.
    My Farm was running at +198, So A Tip for finishing Find UFO parts in the event,I have taken all deco off build level 1 houses and Fields ,Growing only corn at 70money for planting.You will get thought this task quicker and the fields for some reason can be build beside each other,And if your going to do this,Build enough cowsheds so you can do that task Twice,I have now 7 Cowsheds and that will save me 7 hours.But each to there own.

    I must be foolishly supporting GGS and allowing you to keep playing by riding on the back of my money then, seeing that I will be looking closely at the fertile fields' cost when it is revealed finally to decide whether or not to buy them? Or did I read it incorrectly?
    i was not slamming gold users as i myself am one.the poster i replied to referred to gold users as foolish people and i was commenting that us foolish people are the reason this game exists.


    i must be the only person who hasnt experienced all the bugs that are occurring so i will take this time to say i can live without the new fields and thank you ggs for the tower.i never realized how much detail is put into our decos until i could look at them up close.if you can find this little bit of praise in the midst of all this hate then thank you all for the update :)

    I just wonder when they will fix all the glitches still present from many many upgrades ago. I still get error messages when my dog house is too close to anything else that grows or produces anything. Now I can't get things out of storage or move things where they were before our new decoration museum, that shows me all the decorations i'm missing or not missing but sold because i didn't want them any longer. Please give us a break and just fix the bugs and glitches and error messages. Love the game but this really is getting ridiculous!

    Checked out the update thoroughly. Nothing spectacular, not for me at least. Maybe I am yet to reach a level where minor things would make big differences, but I would see about it then. I guess this update was targeted for high leveled players. :)

    The decoration showroom is always welcome though.

    I agree with Artmaker, all this bugs aren't worth it. I hope GGS considers replacing library and deco tower to village. My farm looked a lot better without all this useless buildings around it.

    So the update has been done hours ago.. and yet i can not put my decos back.. so when will this bug be fixed? i can not build new things or put my decos back.. thx.. this is ruining my money..
