Like iPads and Android tablets, Kindles do not natively support Flash which is necessary to play Big Farm. There are Flash enabled browsers that can be used with iPads and android tablets but Kindles have there own proprietary OS and the only Flash supporting browser I knew for it has been discontinued :(

And does the Photon browser works?
I have also bought an Ipad and would like to play the game on my Ipad. With the Puffin browser it is not possible to play it.

You can't access the game through your mobile because the game needs adobe flash player :) but there is a GGS game made just for mobiles :) I think it's called GGS four empires or something :)

Rhon has suggested installing Photon browser or Puffin Browser for Android phones, and Photon and iSwifter for iPads and iPhones.

    A quick Google also suggests http://flashforthegalaxy.com/ .

Scrolled through 8 pages and didn't find a similar topic. Would be great to be able to harvest and plant/start production from a mobile device.

Did you test both? Been thinking about adding Photon to my Kindle.

I've used Photon but preferred Puffin

Does it even install on a Kindle? Kindle adapt the OS to their own needs making it a sort of special proprietary OS for Kindle only. There is a free version of Photon and Puffin (even the paid versions is cheap) so you could give it a try first. But there was a Photon browser with Flash for Kindle that was removed, so I rather doubt there is now anything for Kindle

I use Puffin on my iPad, works fine and I didn't need anything else (to be installed). I use the free version. It's a bit slow for my taste, but then maybe I'm just spoiled. Anyway, it works. I haven't tried to install it on my Kindle.

Just a suggestion and I'm sorry if it's been posted somewhere I can't see.

I can rarely touch my laptop now and thinking that it would be great if I can play this game on my Android device. Is there any plan for a mobile version of Big Farm?

    Thanks, Big Farm Team.

Which tablet do you have? If its a Kindle you won't find an app that supports Flash. For Android and iOS search for a Flash enabled Browser. Puffin and Photon are ones I know of.

Does YouTube support HTML5 perhaps and that is why it works on your tablet? Just guessing here.

One of the many quirks about the iPad is its inability to play Flash videos. In a white paper on the subject, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs wrote that Flash wasn't supported because it lacked full support for touch screens, it created security and performance issues, it ate into battery life and it created an extra layer between the developer and the operating system. And after Adobe dumped Flash for Mobile, it's safe to say we won't ever see Flash support on the iPad.

Luckily, there are a few alternative web browsers for the iPad that support Flash.

It is possible to play Big farm from your devices, you just have to figure out wich browser works :) I seem to remember Puffin browser as one that runs Big farm :)

Yup I use Puffin on an android tablet (nexus 7) to play Big Farm. The Photon Browser works too.

Both have free, ad supported versions, or inexpensive ad free ones

iSwifter seems to be the favourite for iPad and iPhone but there are others too including Puffin

I would have never guessed myself saying this, as I hate tablets and smartphones, but I support.
My household has recently acquired a tablet and when we have it with us anyway, I can just as well check my farm with it. Well, I would, if it could run the game a bit more efficiently. It keeps crashing unless I zoom in all the way so it doesn't have to render too much and moving around is very difficult as it doesn't pick up on the signal. Going fullscreen helps, but it often crashes while trying to get it there. The buttons are also way too small for finger-touch, so I'm terrified of touching the wrong thing and spending precious gold (welcome to big farm, where you can spend money with the touch of a finger). So I really only use it when I have something important to do, like when an event is running.

In other words, a mobile application would be great. Something with bigger buttons and better performance.

PLEASE!!! make an app for the iphone and ipad. I'm getting ready to go on vacation and my farm will be left unattended for almost 2 weeks because I don't have a lap top. A Big Farm app would solve that problem. : )

Lonestar, you can install the iSwifter internet browser for the iPad and I believe the iPhone aslo...... You can play the game from that browser without any problems :) If you need any other browsers for other devices just read Samtys post :)

For Samsung Galaxy 3 (Android phone) users, the trial version of The Photon Browser works well. It's a little slow and the objects are really small, but switching between touch mode, mouse mode, and drag mode helps create a similar environment as the PC browser. The Puffin trial version, however, does not work -- need to pay for Puffin to get access to Flash add-ins, I think.
