Members upgrading themselves to deputy

I have had multiple people within co-op upgrade themselves from member to deputy. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Is it a very new coop, then the first 2 or 3 people who get into the coop are automatically deputy.

Boxerladay, the only way that members can be upgraded is if the Leader changes their status. There is one exception to that however, when there are only 1 or 2 members in a coop and a new member is added. What happens then is that the next member (or 2 members if there is only the Leader in the coop) added is automatically given deputy status. There isn't anything you can do to stop it sorry, other than just resetting their status or not removing too many members at a time.

If you have 3 or more members in the cooperative, then you will find that it won't set anyone to deputy when they join the coop.

If you are the Leader, you can always change the status of the Deputies yourself, to make them only a regular member instead, and/or make a regular member a Deputy. Don't relinquish the Leadership however, unless you REALLY don't want to be the Leader anymore.
