Keep up the good work.
There was a long-term issue with the their size. After some time and a lot of complaints it was fixed. During last several updates they silently increasing them again (the erected sign for harvesting coops at the moment successfully blocks the access to three coops behind it :S ).

And now some of them are going to be red... Honestly, some GUI decisions look pretty random and illogical (for ex. why special seeds are in the inventory together with tokens and not in the farm management? Or why we can only see what events seeds we have during seeding?). ?(
I can assure you we did definitively not secretly increase the size again
The red color for the zzz's was actually a contribution from the forums - I'm not sure if it was this one or the German one, but this is one of the things that players actually wanted, so they wouldn't click on buildings they wouldn't be able to use at the moment anyway.
I'm sure it will be very handy once we get used to it

We hope it will be, but we can't guarantee it - this bug seems to only show up when the game is played live and doesn't happen on our internal testing servers. I know people are working on this exact bug, and they will be until a few hours before the update starts, so it's very hard to say something about this at this point in time
After "secretly" I should have put a smiley, it was intended as a joke. It's obvious that you can't change them without anyone noticing.
In any case, you can see a lot of empty space on the both sides (in the picture in my previous post). Is there any reason for it? I noticed it because it started to block my buildings...
That update wasn't silent; I remember seeing it and commenting on it at the time. (Or maybe I didn't actually post that comment; I frequently don't when something annoys me.) I recall that the explanation was that they weren't large enough for all the text that needs to go on them, and upon reflection I have to admit that there are languages out there that aren't as concise as English, which would need the extra space. That being said, I still hate how big and grabbity they are; I've accidentally gold-skipped an orchard while I was trying to make a field's sign let my mouse go so I could harvest the next field.
I have to say I like small changes that convey information. There are very few things that I deliberately leave idle, so it will be nice to be able to tell at a glance that I don't need to bother clicking something.
I'll go out on a limb and guess it's because of how they're used. Things in farm management can be bought and sold with/for farm dollars; things in inventory are only stored. That's not your special seeds in the inventory, by the way; that's your breeding seed. Breeding seed and water, like cooperative collectibles, can only be purchased when needed, for gold.
Yeah, this bugs me a lot too; it makes planning a nightmare for me at times. Ditto special seeds, which can only be seen then, or if the nursery is not running.
That would be inconsistent with the way things currently are, though. We already have red text as that visual cue in other areas of the game that you don't have enough of something.
Thanks for correcting me (too many kinds, lol). As for inventory, I see it a bit differently. The things I get from the farm and that are processed by the farm buildings should be in the farm management. They are part of our stock, like leaves, dung, etc. And there there are some other things you can buy for gold and cannot sell too.
Now I keep breeding seeds in the inventory (on the same shelf as mining license and gambling tokens), special seeds in the nursery, normal seeds in the farm management, and event seed in the fields. And to access half of them I need to satisfy certain conditions. What a messy farmer I am, lol.
As for the forum time, I set it to GMT in my profile, so that I won't be confused anymore
