This volcano fountain thing sounds pretty good. Also, Lana reminds me a little of a slightly older version of Lilo from Lilo and Stitch.

Awesome! I am looking forward to it very much. The other events were starting to get a tad boring, so I love it that you all came up with something new!

Ooh! I'm looking forward to this too; can't wait to see the new decos! :) (Dang; more decos to keep me from accumulating upgrading and expansion money... ;>)

Nope; there was nothing any more specific than "new tasks and wonderful rewards".

Am ready for the new fun and challenges....remembering my beautiful 8+ foot tall pink hibiscus we lost in Rita in '05. Miss my free Florida beaches too! Nice warm-up during the annual American cool-down. Have fun everyone ;-)

    Hi Bear1:
It may not have said specifically, but I think it could have been implied. The new decos were listed as follows.
    •Hawaii garden
    •Volcanic fountain
    •Hawaiian beach
    •Hawaiian well
There are usually 3 decos of varying value for purchase with either game dollars or gold. The fourth is usually the uber deco prize at the end. Which of these sounds like a big prize? I'm voting for volcanic fountain :-D
    Hang loose and keep farming!

I'm not so sure about that, though, icehunter. In the announcements for the previous theme events, only the Asian event listed any decorations specifically, and those were only the ones available for purchase, not the prize decorations. The camping event has four decorations for purchase (log bridge, camp, thicket, and trailer), so I think it just as likely that these will all four be purchasable, and that the prize will be something else. I hope so, anyway; I like having a wide variety of choices. :) *crosses fingers that Hawaiian decos will be as good or better values than fairytale ones*

For me, deco building time was when I accumulated lots of money because the new decos were relatively cheap but take long time to build. ;)

Will see if these decos are any good (read: better as usual ones) happiness-wise... and my garden is anyway maxed out, so we'll also see if there's any point in building them at all. Oh and if they look nice. I don't want any stone dragons on my farm, not farm-style at all.

Well, I built 12 dragons on my "baby" farm because I was finally high enough level to build them, and didn't want to wait for the next fairytale event for enchanted trees. That's $1,500,000 that I really ought to have applied to a land expansion to have room for the decos that I needed so desperately there, but *shrug* I was afraid that if I waited until I could buy the land, I wouldn't have time left to build enough dragons.

The event decos so far have all been superior to any comparable regular decorations, not just for better happiness per square but also for lower price and earlier availability, so I don't see any reason to expect that these will be less good. My only questions are how they will compare to other event decos (e.g. for h/sq, fairytale decos are better than Asian decos are better than camping decos), and whether they will suit my personal esthetics, but that will just have to wait until the event shows up.

I admit that I was greatly pleased that the enchanted tree, whose appearance I like best so far, also has the best happiness per square! :) But it would be really nice to have more valuable low-profile decos that I could place in front of things and still see them too; that's why I build dragons even though they're not my favorite for looks.

Hoping the volcanic fountain isnt a gold deco as that sounds the nicest. Wish the Koi pond was for dollars as really like the look of that one

These 4 decos are all available in the Item shop, there's another one you will get for completing the event (a Tiki :) ). I think it's 2 gold decorations and 2 Dollar decorations.

Thankfully, most of the things on garden and flower farm are big enough to not be troubled by decos, so the only problem for me is on main farm, and that's why I'm putting my waterfalls there. Yeah, I don't like the dragons really, either, but I do like to have my farms full of trees and thickets. ;)

Will the Hawaii event really be tomorrow, or will the bugs with dog and gardens (and probably more) be fixed before? I am a bit afraid of yet more bugs to come.

I hope Lester has to wear a grass skirt... he looks so excited to have the wolf costume in the Fairy Tale event, so should be thrilled with Hawaii.
