Happiness is a very important part of the game.
You want your workers to be happy, because if your workers are happy then your happiness is high, and your running costs will be lower, which in turn makes you more money.
If your workers are sad, then your happiness is low, and that means your running cost will be high, which means you are making less money.
I know, it is kind of confusing but that is how it works.
Decorations = More Happiness
House = Less Happiness
Always make sure that you have enough happiness before you build or upgrade a house, because you will lose happiness when you build or upgrade a house.

A cooperative's level is indicated by the yellow star with a number inside it, located on the top left corner of the cooperative window. The progress bar next to the star will reveal how many Solidarity Points a cooperative must collect in order to reach the next level. To collect solidarity points, the cooperative members must work together to complete cooperative projects.
You can get free gold every time you level up.
If you log in every day you can get from 30 to 50 gold day 4 or 5.
A few quest rewards you with gold.
Of course you can buy gold in the shop.
Money:
To get money you harvest crops, mill the corn, wheat and cabbage to food for animals, feed the animals and sell eggs, milk and pigs.
If you have no money, you can plant wild flowers for free, harvest them and sell them
Most of the time, you would need only a few more xp and then when you level up--there is a whole new list of tasks. So don't worry and just keep farming.
There are lots of options to get more xp besides completing tasks:
* Making more animal feed: for each bag of chicken feed-1 xp
pig feed gives 2 xp per bag
cowfeed gives 14 xp
* Operating the composter and silo: both give 6 xp per bag
* Using the construction slot--each building gives xp when it is built or
upgraded. The amount rewarded varies and you can access the information in
the construction menu--Look for the blue 'i' icons.
-As you level up and expand, you will gain access to better decorations--soon you
can STORE the lower level decos and build ones that will increase your profit
margins. Keep the old decos in storage, because there are tasks to have a
certain NUMBER of them on the farm all at once. My favorite deco
is the 'pile of goods' because they fit in some odd locations beside the fields &
orchards
* Using premium fertilizer, humus and to feed your animals.
* Planting roses, sunflower and other event seeds, which by the way are the
best uses for your fertilizer, especially if you use it on your most
upgraded fields.
* Doing missions--IF you do well, you can gain many xp and lots of money.
To summarize: Try to keep it all running--ZZZZ's are not productive to growth of your farm. If you are constantly not able to operate the silo or the feedmill because you lack products to keep the ZZZZ's away--make more production capabilities.

This may seem like a simple thing to do, but you would be shocked at how many times I have had to walk new members through this procedure. Happy Farming All!
Yes it is, you can earn great rewards by completing a step op a event.
At the end you can earn a great item with lots more happiness for your people
You get negative happiness from houses, and positive happiness from decorations. You need to build decorations until their positive happiness completely balances the negative happiness of all your houses, plus 2 happiness points more than that.
But I already built a couple of decorations, and found another when I bought new land!
Take a look at your smile-meter. The needle is over on the orange side, isn't it? You want it to be on the green side. Now hover your mouse over it; you'll see a lot more detail.
That looks pretty bad. You want it to look more like this:
Every simple house you build decreases your happiness by 35 points, and every fancy house decreases it by 25 points. Upgrading your houses decreases your happiness even more; you can see how much more for each level by clicking the blue "i" on a house's ring menu. You need to build more decorations to balance the happiness again every time you build a new house, and the higher level your houses are, the more decorations it takes to balance the happiness for each one.
So when you upgrade houses, you also need to "upgrade" your decorations with higher happiness ones, or you start running out of room pretty fast. Flowerbeds give 12 happiness and ornamental trees give 13; these decorations are fine for level 1 houses, but aren't really efficient enough to offset all the unhappiness of lots of upgraded houses. Vegetable patches give 17 happiness, and wells and fountains give 18; these are better when you have mostly level 2 houses. If you upgrade your houses to level 3 or higher, you need to start building cozy picnics, ice cream trucks, and lakes.
a cooperative is a place to have fun and chat with each other. do researches for your advantages and increase the amount of dollars u make when you sell your produce
2)how to join a cooperative?
to join a cooperative is easy. just click on the multiplayer features option at the bottom of your screen and then click on the cooperatives option. like thisAttachment not found.
then u will get a screen like this
Attachment not found.
then you can either found your own cooperative if u have 375 gold or apply to other cooperatives.
u can also apply to cooperatives by going to the rankings option and from their to the cooperative rankings and selecting on the cooperative you want to apply to.
and always remember to make the application as good as you can make it to make a good first impression
3) what to do in the cooperative?
you can chat with people and make friends. complete projects and researches.and u have to donate to the cooperative as well. donations are of both dollars and gold
4) why am I not getting accepted into a cooperative?
it may be because you are a low level players and do not satisfy the needs of the cooperative or the application you have sent doesn't intrigues the leaders or deputies. so make sure to sent out a good application
5) how to become a researcher?
to do that go into the cooperatives tab. from their to the researches. then chose which is the research u want to become a researcher of and click on it and register yourself as a researcher. u can chose to become a researcher with gold or dollars
hope It helps
Yes it is,when you finish you get decoration reward and the tasks get you experience and cash
you may need to rearrange your farm a bit to complete the event but in long run you will be happy
with results.
Things you may want to do is upgrade your houses and remove some decor to make room
for other processing buildings like an extra orchard to collect the apples in fairy tale/camping tess or blossoms on asian event.
or build and extra field or coop for collecting and donating.
If you search forums you will find spread sheets for each of the tasks need for each event, the numbers you need will go up as you get to higher levels, for example
a level 16-18 doing asian event task 1 will need to collect 30 fertilizers and begin 1 cherry
a level 43-54 doing same task will need to collect 60 fertilizers and begin cherries 2 times
so depending on event and task you will need to figure out what you will need to complete tasks fast, some can finish events in less time then others by building extra.
When done event demolish those extra building and put decor bk on your farm
Good luck and have fun
A way to check this is to find the login page with the flag on it and make sure that the correct flag is ticked. If you don't know which flag the default setting was, try a few out. A more elegant solution to the problem would be to contact support to find out exactly which server your more developed farm is located on.
Production: it costs 1 gold for each 90 seconds remaining for normal production and growing. Fractions of 90 seconds are always rounded up, so if you have 2 minutes remaining on your production, you will pay 2 gold to hurry.
Example: I fed my chickens 10 minutes ago and there's 3 minutes remaining until I can collect eggs. If I click the chicken coop and then click Skip, I will pay 2 gold and my eggs will be ready.
Building: it costs 1 gold for each 30 seconds remaining when you are building or demolishing objects. Again, fractions of 30 seconds are rounded up
When you click the skip button you will pay for all time remaining on that one object. There is no confirmation, so be careful when you hover your mouse over the skip button.
The nursery allows you to create special seeds which have changed harvest times and also a changed yield. You need to have three things to start the nursery.
1)Breeding seeds
2)Water
3)Harvested corn, wheat, cabbage or wild flowers
When everything you need is available it should look like this
When everything is ready you can begin production of any special seed you want and then plant it in your fields so that you get more yield in more time or less yield in less time:)
I hope it's completely clear now, good luck and happy farming
WATER TOWER A good advice is: invest Gold in a water tower. Water tower is the first thing to use your hard-earned gold on, and it will help you a lot, although the tower is at level 1! If you buy Water tower, what you must then use the water tower to?? The water tower is the best building to use gold on ... It reduces the amount of feed and
fertilizer you need for your animals and orchards Here is the cost for each upgrade of the water tower: Level 1 costs $ 1,300 gold and is available at level 15 Level 2 costs $ 7400 gold and is available at level 19 Level 3 costs $ 13000 gold and is available at level 23 level 4 cost 24800 gold and is available at level 27 level 5 cost 29500 gold and is available at level 31 KEEP in MIND that level 1. already makes a big difference ... If you invest in one or two levels of Water Tower it pays really well.. buy water tower as soon as possible ...
I would have to say apples with 2-3 orchards you can fill barn quickly
and sell all every time you harvest and not having to keep barn full.
I have 2 orchards and 1 harvest form each fills my barn so the rest of
the day i can sell sell sell and make lots of money.
Hope this helps have fun and keep farming those apples for all that
apple pie
Yes, the prize is really cool and whilst it may take you longer than players who have been playing the game for longer, GoodGame will provide enough opportunities for you to get enough points eventually to get the reward (I hope!)
The answer is simple: you have to have so many free workers according to the level of a simple house provides, in order to be able to demolish it.
At the top right side of your game screen , there is 'your workers' bar where you can see the available free workers. If you hover the mouse over it an analysis of total, busy and free workers will appear (picture 1).
A level 1 simple house gives 10 new workers, a level 2 15 workers and so on. With the new upgrades available during 'the Architect' event, a level 5 simple house can give maximum 30 workers (picture 2).
At the ring menu there is the informatio icon (i), select to open the information tab about the particular building (picture 2). For the simple house, there is listed all information needed such as 'additional worker', meaning the number of workers the specific simple house level provides.
So, compare the number of free workers and the number according to simple house level to see how many free workers you need.
an example:
level 3 simple house provides 20 workers
free workers 10
therefor 10 additional free workers are needed to demolish
Note: fancy houses can no longer be demolished (until further notice).
If you do not buy gold then there are a very limited number of places that you can obtain a decoration that has more than 38 happiness points. You can win them in an events or you can buy how ever many points you can afford on the telescope in the Orphanage Charity Drive. Up to about $300,000.00 this decoration is cheaper than the ones offered on the decorations menu in the game; and up to about 45 ot 50 points is about equal in price per happiness point to in game decorations; at that point it has a higher happiness point value than anything you can buy in game. If by chance you get into the top 1,000 contributors you will get an extra point and in the top 100 an extra 5 points. Since the charity drive lasts several days you do not have to put the money out all at the same time; a little bit each day is much easier.

This decoration measures 5 X 5. As you progress in the game space becomes a greater issue, land becomes expensive. Even expensive points in a small space seem a better idea once the land costs over $10,000,000.00 per piece. All in all you want to purchase a telescope using farm dollars with as many points as you can afford to put on it; this may be only 40 if you are a level 20, but it might be 70 on the next one when you are a level 60. Anyway you look at it a high point decoration for farm dollars is good for your game.
