Quadruple the amount of milk needed in Coop Project??? Totally Unfair

Our coop has been trying to work together to go up levels and found we can be successful with milk collection. All of a sudden this morning, the amount sky rocketed from 5100 to 21000! And once we had all the items needed, we hit the "Start" button without realizing the new number. Now, rather than being able to make that level and succeed, we may not make it. I get that maybe it was too easy, but to make that change in that amount is totally unfair! Please adjust the number back down, maybe toward doubling it, or even tripling.... but even for a coop with a decent number of cow sheds, this 21000 level is unreachable! This needs attention NOW. Or maybe you don't want coops to go up.

I think they do that so you need to do a bunch of other research (like recruitments, negotiation skill etc.) before you can get the harder co-op projects done successfully. More cynically, those types of research require gold to start... :P

jaystarr2, this is a change from YESTERday.....all of a sudden. that is the issue, and now we're stuck probably failing, because we didn't realize the change.

Every co-op project levels up after a few successfull rounds, for some is 3 and other 8 rounds, depending on the type of the project. So it's not a change made specifically for that project, they all do level up. And as Jaystarr pointed out, not only you have to do other researches in order to successfully complete the projects, but also keep track of any projects' outcome in order to prepare accordingly. Even a failure in a project, it's not that important, if you can learn from it ! Keep up all the hard work :) and have fun !

It does sound like you hadn't realised that the project had levelled up :(. You will need to grow your co-op and do all the projects more evenely. As you've found it really doesn't pay to concentrate on just one project. The numbers will get even higher. My co-op is doing 'cheesed off' at level 4 at the moment and we have to collect 115,000 milk, but we have 23 members and will probably finish early.

ok, I now understand that the projects upgrade after a few times. our coop only did milk >two< times and the number (the bucket on the side) still says 1....there is no indication that anything changed or leveled up, other than the actual NUMBER. And there was no warning or conceptual notice. So I think that's a flaw.

the projects start out at a 0 then they go to 1, 2, etc. the first indicator that you have leveled up is that the required colectible number has increased :) you can hover over the number at the left to see how many successes at that difficulty level there are until the next level up :) just have to read and pay attention :)

I'd have to agree with that, there should really be a notification when a project levels up. We get notified when everything else levels up, why not this?

There is a notice when your project levels up. It comes up on the page once you've completed the project, like a picture of the cup with an arrow going up or something.

Plus for any project you do you can mouse over the little goblet sign thingy and it tells you how many more times you need to complete the project before you level up.
