Why not? It's their choice to spend their farmdollars that way. I think it's a good strategy and use it myself often as well.

    Hi reh92,

Theres nothing wrong with that at all. It's not against the game rules to do that and therefore support will not be able to do anything about it. Everyone has the option to do that, it depends how badly you want to win.

    Regards,
    Ethan

LOL...sounds like some one didn't get their oatmeal this morning. It's a very tough world this FARMING business...glad this kid is just a flower garden kind of player and not into the high finance cutthroat FLOWER business. Be safe and love one another

    Hi Ethan

you are not getting me ..
if the mission is of selling something it should be only of selling, not buying it and selling.
other players who have just started to play Big Farm, how do you think they can afford to do such mean things.
I like fair play, not this kind of things.

Hope Support really gets me right and not think of their benefit, as players spend dollars in missions and are hooked up to game -day nad night......
if that is the strategy of support then its so Cheap..

    or the nursery....
30 mins to collect x and they have made seeds with 300+ of item waiting to be harvested on all their fields
nursery is way more broken than buy/sell

It's not a crime! Some people are just highly skilled in the financial industry! CHILL! In REAL farming, they do it all the time, right? How is it any different here, virtually?

I don't see how this is a problem for support, considering that this is a loophole that people can take advantage of with the game. It's not like the game is broken there or something.

You will have more luck if you keep your Reputation points low, under 100, and pick times of day that are not as active, early am & late night. Weekends are also a busy time. You can lower your Rep. pts. by joining & quitting a mission. Don't try for 1st place while you are new, look at the different rewards for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th place. You always get some money and experience points where ever you place in the mission. Experience points are more important than Reputation points when you are starting out because these points are how you advance to the next level in the game. Don't worry about that competition for 1st place. One day you will be there too.

i had this same problem a few days ago, i said i was not doing any more missions because as far as i am concerned putting a lvl 33, 50, 66 and 90+ in the same group is unfair, and no matter how you justify it to yourself i feel use of gold (and yes i have used gold but only after someone else does) or buy/sell is cheating, if you don't have the better farm or you don't work as hard or prepare as much you don't have the right to cheat to win. i was always taught cheaters never prosper, but in this game they do.

i have decided not to boycott missions altogether but i only do ones where you can't buy/sell to give myself a better chance.

I think using gold or buying/selling is not cheating. Buy/sell is just using your skills and money wisely. Using gold I don't do much, I try to limit myself to about 20 gold per mission, if people want to spend much more, they can win.

earning a win and buying a win are 2 completely different things, this is a game it is supposed to be fun and fair. and cheating makes it less so. as i said justify it how you need to so you can sleep at night.

by the way someone said it is done in real life, i grew up on a farm as did my mother and her mother, and we never brought things for the purpose of reselling them. it was all about hard work.

Morally it might make a difference but it makes no difference how you win according to the game.

The game is played by just people who have enough money to play onlline games and very many are the greedy types who are dreaming of being part of America's top 2%'ers.. and never will happen in their lives..So it seems some co-ops have 'commanding bosses' their way or no way.. A game should be for fun.. and able to use imagination to create a farm.. this has creative 'chances' but it ain't so easy.. The creators of this game have terrific art designs for nearly everything.. I just do not agree to the time and cost of most objects.. I just thank God this is not a zynga game (oops mistake?)

Lol, choppychop.. this is a game, not a day on Wall Street..Are you looking for work as finance expert in the land of BigFarm? And some days so far in the game I can almost smell virtual Hog Dung..

I want to do an individual mission where you are taking part. You sound like so much fun. I agree with everything you said.Esp. the Zynga games I no longer take part in anything connected to them because I reached a point (very high level) where I couldn't advance unless I laid out real money. I mean at least $500 US on the low end and more like $800 US just to get by. Who has that much money that they can just blow on a game?
