If your players are not active and don't donate to the coop, I would send a mail out telling them they got to step it up a bit. Some coops do have minimum donation rules, per day or per week. Some do that based on level, some based on what you earn. If those people then still don't do anything, but do have the profits from the researches you all have already done, I would just kick them out and get better members
Hope this helps a bit.
yes they get expensive, I agree to that, but sometimes I think there's too much pressure on people when it comes to donating.
Yes some cooperatives have a minimum donation rules, and yes the people who joined these coops agreed to it.
But our cooperative for example, we don't have minimum donation rules and people keep donating anyway, without me or the deputies asking for it.
And what I mean with pressure on the players is, like last week, we had a struggle to get the money together for a research, because of some inactive players, free spots didn't get filled up, and the people who did apply for the spots only wrote: HI, or I want to join, and they stand no chance.
So because we had a struggle to get things done, I gave them a break. They get 1 week of "Holidays" to spend their money on their farms, upgrade, level up, extend, and even though I gave them a week off, they still donate, just because they want to.
About the activeness of players, if they haven't logged in for 4 days, I send them a message, if they don't respond to it within the next 3 days, they'll get kicked. Unless of course they've told me that they would be gone for a period of time due to whatever reason.
Cooperatives are all about teamwork. And teamwork also means communication. If they are inactive without letting anyone know, they're not team material and are not worth being in a cooperative.
Hope that'll help you out a bit mate
Cheers

You must have another account on a different server.
So, nevermind.
hmm..that made me curious..because I have only a single account, unless we have same username? will that possible?..I have 12 members already..and most of them are kind..but now I will open a new slot..:) I will remove a non-active member..

You have been given some very valuable information by other farmers and members of co-ops. Part of this game is to enjoy it, but when you are a co-op founder you do automatically have more things to consider and like all things there is a learning curve.
As the No.1 Ranking Co-op on the Au1 server, my suggestion would be to spend your farm $$$$ and gold wisely. Build your farm, the more you build your farm the more $$$ you have to donate to your co-op.
Bring in farmers who will assist. Adopting a minimum donation keeps it fair to all members and allows you to see on a weekly basis who is contributing or who is "mooching" off the co-operative. Don't be afraid to remove members who are not participating, but keep in mind there is many forms of participation such as completing missions, projects or donating $$$$ and gold.
Create a formula that works for you and your co-op. Chat to your members and ask their advice, but you will continue to find it hard to level up your research if your co-operative and its members are not actively levelling up farms.
Enjoy your farming and your co-operative. Hope we hear positive news from you in the near future.
Cheers
