ohh and instead of selling them or killing them, you can shear them and use the wool to make sweaters and scarfs and sell them in a giftshop or something

Nope, not just Aussies; I wondered right from the start where the sheep were! ;>

    Idea!
There should be a Clothing Farm.
There could be sheep and that would be the wool.
And then we could grow cotton.
And we could turn them in to clothes!

Just a suggestion but i think it is a good idea!

Wow, the pic is a bit small, but I think I see it :) I still keep my hopes up Monica, we saw the cherry orchard on the front page too before it got into the game. And the mudbathing piggie :)

Monica, I realise that you're still upset about the demise of Farmer, but please remember that this is the Big Farm forum and post accordingly. :)

geez. I was just mentioning that the lamb is from the original farm game and had a picture of it. There is actually many decorations that are copied from that one. The owl from the log in screen, the lawnmower, the swimming pool--all just makes me wish to have my old farm back even more. The new animals move, but they are so small i can't see the details. ;(

I had this idea and was reviewing the forum to see if someone else already had it. I love the idea of a clothing farm...sheep, llamas, some rabbits, jute plants for burlap, cotton....

Being a real farmer, have you thought of sheep? And then of course, you need to shear the sheep, and a house that can spin the wool first and then another process to weave the wool, and another process to turn it into clothing, rugs etc.

There's already a BF-esque picture of how the sheepies would look, courtesy of Gwen in the forum comp. The art team doesn't even need to work on anything for the image :D

Yeah, we created sheep for an advertising campaign once, they didn't make it into the game yet though :) At some point (probably later this year) we'll rework the secondary farms, I'll throw in the sheep idea for that - can't promise anything of course, but who knows :)

    Greetings,
    Timo

    Attachment not found.

This was what I made for the forum competition. Yes, I would love to see sheep on the farms! Would be lovely Latten, if you can throw them in as an idea.

i think we need a farm dedicated to nothing but animals.we need ducks, horses, sheep, deer and rabbits.for a farm game we actually dont have a big selection of critters.

We could have a sheep farm to produce wool for clothing.
    I would be so cool.:):p8)

    Sheep could make:
    Mutton (currently unlikely)
Wool (likely and possibly the beginnings of a new set of buildings for clothing production)

Sheep farms could use these currently-unused ideas:
    Horses (HINT!)
    Llamas (wish)
Sheep Dog (could be the main farm dog or could be a second dog)
    Pastures (some interesting possibilities)
    Gauchos (specialized hired hand)

    ----

Sheep farms (or a sheep ranch) have been suggested before. Let's see how this plays out.

    =TD=

:) Hi i think a good idea for us to get on the farm would be to get sheep. So we have even more animals, and sheep is a real farm animal so it would be realistic. Hey so everyone feel free to vote down below in my poll. Also feel free to post comments. THANKS1:)

Ummm.... you need to post details and anything else you have in mind e.g. the building where the sheep will live, what they would eat, how much and what product we got get from them etc. You can't just go around and BAM! Here's a poll just start voting without details whatsoever. More details would be nice.
