So, you want to join a cooperative....

I see many threads on the board about people wanting to join a cooperative for whatever reason.

I found several last night, applied, and was accepted.:D:D

How? I'm no one special, but I worked for my acceptance and it didn't take all that long.
What I mean is that I went and searched for cooperatives who were looking for new members. Not many have those huge requirments!
Where on my own farm page.
How-If you go to the toolbar at the bottom of your farm, you will see an icon with people on it
-click that icon and it opens up. The bottom one shows a hand shake. If you click on that one a box opens up and you can see all the cooperatives in this game. The cooperatives that are looking for people will have a magnifying glass. You can apply to as many as you want. (I applied to over 10)
-It might also help to make your application letter 'original' and explain why you want to join them.

I hope this helps other newbies find a good home :)

Also, most important, you can only join a cooperative that is on your own server (the server where you play your game). For example: Someone who plays on US 1 cannot join a group on WWW. Make sense?

Good luck

    no I don't I'm sorry.

I use a web translator to have conversations with friends who are in other countries. Not a perfect way, but is very helpful :)

I'm not advertising that I am looking for people to join my cooperative, I'm trying to explain ways to join a cooperative in general.

Sorry if I have confused anyone....

    Good day.

I would like to know what will happen when you will remove the person who set up the cooperation?

the person who set up the coop is not much online and we would like to keep on going in this coop or seld you have to start over the assignments.

I hope some one could answer me

tanishka, I prefer to use googles' translator...... I use it to communicate with some friends who speak a very unusual language called Malay...... and we have some great conversations. NO web translator is perfect, but it is more than useful to me .

Hi Lindsay, I'll try to help, but this has never been discussed here before. Does your co-op have any deputies??? They can do most of the things that the co-op leader was doing. I'm not sure you can boot him out because only the leader has the 'right' to remove people from your co-op.

With Deputies you co-op can start projects and do researches without his permission. Discuss it among yourselves and decide what to do next. Maybe you all you start a co-op of your own and then everyone could just leave and go to that one. Just a thought.

Aw.... gee thanks Kat Nip :)

I thought maybe it would help the other people so there might not be so many requests taking up board space. It really wasn't all that hard either...... :D

Lindsay, a deputy can't remove anyone from the cooperative, only the leader can. As for if the cooperative will remain should the leader leave, yes it will - the leadership will transfer to the next person in ranking.
