According to GGS  Schedule: Fisch HW and VF should be started.

In stead regular HW poped-up.

 Not nice , because all my preparations are now wortheless.

    Big screw up as we were all expecting fishing hard worker event along with village fair but instead get regular hard worker without village fair.What's up with that GG?

    Yep all the boats sent out for nothing and all the crop ready for VF for nothing.Somebody at GG must not have read the memo.

    Maybe we will get a few hours into the event before GG realizes they messed up and then they will start the other events instead then that will really make a lot of people mad after they already use some humus,seaweed and maybe some gold only to have it all wasted.

    Last time this happened and the events started late, they didn't extend the hours so the events ran short. This esp. messed up fishing as we either had to pay more for bigger boosters, or just forget it until the next time.

    Announced by a German-based mod on the international BF Discord server:  "hello all, the event-planning got changed, instead to the FHWE and the Village Fair we will only have the HWE which will also count to the Farmers League.  we know it's disappointing, but events and/or start-times can always change. Under this aspect the event-calendar came back."

    here is a cc/paste of a note just a few mins ago from the German mod Bailey on discord,

    "the event-planning got changed, instead to the FHWE and the Village Fair we will only have the HWE which will also count to the Farmers League"

    I'm so glad that at least we know this one will stay running ;)

    Good to know, but they need to let us know what day the fishing event will start. Thanks for posting this.

    LOL - They did tell us to switch to discord - makes me so sad, this forum is soooooo much more user friendly IMHO, and I'll be so sad to lose the vast amount of info that's so easy to reference here ;(

    Also on discord, it was mentioned they do not yet know if any other events on the calendar have or will be changed, but the mods will let us know when they can. I'm just thankful we have an answer to this one for now, so at least we know it's not gonna disappear for something else in a short amount of time

    yup, fishing rods to/from teammates used up for naught :( 
    along with boats saved that could have been catching other stuff
    but we can't know the reason, there could have been some problem that we don't know about - it could have been a last minute decision
    not sure the reason matters, it's frustrating, but adapt & move on is all we can do really?

    I posted the same thing just before Heather about the Discord message, and it showed up briefly, then it disappeared.  Posting this largely as a test if I can post anything.

    Sorry; my post was on a different thread; we have two running on the same issue, and I got confused.

    You can read between the lines that the people who stay here and don't switch over to discord are gonna be treated like red headed stepchildren.The mods have already given the news over there but here they are nowhere to be found.

    The reason discord got a notification earlier was because it was from a German mod, not an EN mod - - here on forum, we need to wait for an EN mod to login before we can get an answer posted here
