If they are ads for big farm items, that's big farms way of getting you to buy gold to get rewards.
If they are ads for outside items, such as stuff you'd buy online from amazon (things like that) I'm not sure why you get those.
I went through a week long period of getting those, but then they went away.
Hopefully they will go away.
Try putting your post under the category of "Problems or Issues", and see if big farm gives you an answer.

Many coops have been robbed of valuable gold and or money during the setting of boosters. While mistakes do happen their are those that do it on purpose for one reason or another. With names changes it is impossible to keep someone from entering your coop and doing it again. So if chat notification is not being considered please consider ggs informing the coop leader in email when asked or allowing all booster sets be on leaders pm notifications.. true - but some coops are large and have a lot of deputies, and there are some players who will not admit it, especially if they are doing it for malicious reasons

I agree with the request by JanetMarie, any sort of notification would be a nice thing to have, whether it's public or just to the leader. Perhaps something like in VF where we click on the current challenge to see who started it, even something like that would be great.
I would like to add, that I think this should apply to boosters in all types of events, anything at all that affects the coop (for example, even if someone uses personal funds to buy a coop booster in VF, it still affects the whole coop)

Additionnal comment......1-19-2023 We had an incident today where a deputy started a gold booster without following our proceedure....What do we do. demote all deputies till some one confesses...This is something that should not happen. you cant accuse without proof, and you need evidence to boot out, so we Need a better way to watch for problems via GGS. Its not worth me donating gold to my coop if I cant protect it from others who cause mischief. Then the worst part of the day is after the activation of the gold booster, someone cancelled it so techniqually we lost it twice...In the past GGS has hlped with this matter....We need you now to help and program the game to be fair to all....

Im trying to understand why ggs will notify the coop who donates gold and cash in chat but will not show who and how much is spent on a booster. Those that donate to coop coffers have a right to decide and see how their money is spent on team events....Many of us purchase millions in gold.over time.....and donate to our team.....Many are gonna change that practice, we should have a system in place to police our members against those that dont care. With the current way players can change their names many times its impossible for leaders to know if a previous member has snuck back into the coop after being booted for this very reason.. Please GGS, quit passing the buck and finally get this matter resolved Thank you JM

It is my understanding that the only way this question will be resolved is with the design team of the game. I do not believe that any explaination exists as to why a post cannot be made in chat as to who begins a booster. Cash and Gold purchases are posted in chat of individual members, coop projects are posted in chat as are VF challenges. This issue can easily be formatted into the system with as much ease as the previous sentence. I will end my issue with in the hopes that ggs can resolve it. Thank You Janet Marie

Also ad blockers work. I've been using Adblock Plus, which has worked well for me. There is an extra setting you need to engage (Only allow ads without third party tracking) to eliminate the white bars left after the ads have been removed.

I'm trying to do the next research needed for Mainland Farm expansion, but seem to have a roadblock.

I have met the requirements, but when I try to upgrade my Goat Stable, it says "Research Needed." But when I click on the goat research buttons, it shows I've done the research.

I must be missing something obvious, but I can't see it.

By the look at it Artful, I think you have to finish the research 1st, then upgrade your goats

Well that is special. Log in this AM to find all those annoying ads back to cover the screen.

Seems no matter which way one access the site now they will get those ads as well. The next few months are going to be a long trek and NO FUN!

You're not alone, we all have the same problem. The blank white space is where the ads would go. You probably have an adblocker that prevents them from appearing. You're supposed to not get the ads if you have a subscription, but that seems to be faulty as well. Agree. And the ads are making the game lag, crawl and freeze for me. Borderline unplayable. Plus, I have to drag the farms around to get to certain areas.

It's one thing to have to click off the big ad in the middle of the window to get revenue for the company, but what they are doing now is making the game a miserable experience.

There are advertisement banners on the top & side of the game
Often, if you have an ad-blocker, it will prevent the ads from appearing, but the space where they would be, still shows as a white banner.
Purchasing a small amount of gold every 30 days, would completely remove the ads and the banner space, allowing full screen game play again.
