  One thing others have asked for is to make the flag larger, and turn it slightly so that it;s more visible. As they are now, the cute designs can't really be seen.

  I agree.  There is a lot of open space for more flags to be added next to the one we already have on our farms.  I think that if we can have many trophy stands on our Ranch to display our hard earned trophies, then it seems that with just minor adjustments to the game design more flagpoles could be added so we could display more of  our lovely flags.
