I just logged in after shutting down the browser (Google Earth really cramps its style lol) and got the notice of a medal awarded (blue) in FL but not showing on the scoreboard still. I'm sorry to be a hassle here- the medals don't contribute anything so I'll just not worry about it.

And so there was no communication after the "double payout" to let us know that in future there will be a day with no payout? The customer is not always right, but most businesses in most countries that I know - if they make a mistake, they don't let the customer pay for it. So if they price an item incorrectly, they'll let the customer pay the marked price. Why punish the players, who by the way "pay" for GGS's jobs, when THEY make a mistake. I think GGS should take some of the money they get to hire some "customer service" specialists to teach them the basics of that aspect of business.
I earned a silver medal yesterday and received it. I did not get a double payout. I should have received another medal today but so far nothing has showed up, it is 3 hours after normal medal payout. Assuming that everyone got double medal payouts yesterday and not giving medals today is not a good solution to the problem if that is what is going on. The leader in my grouping received 2 mails but the standings still show she is short a gold medal. I am also sure there must be some players that earned no medals yesterday, gold silver or bronze anyway, but did earn one today. Even if they were double paid yesterday they lose out. Please fix this
I just wrote a message on the other thread. I know I did not get a double payout yesterday as it still shows I only have 1 medal, and I received no payout tonight. The leader in my FL group should have 3 golds but it only shows 2. What about players who were not in the top 3 yesterday but should have received a gold, silver or bronze tonight? That is not fair to not hand out medals tonight, the standings are now skewed. You cannot have us wondering every day of an event if that day will count in the standings. Please fix this
Now I am really confused. It was a busy day at work, no time to check the scores too close, just the leads, but now I see the FL scoring has been frozen all day. I sure hope something will be done about this, otherwise what a waste of time and farm cash and in many cases gold today.
I understand much better now what happened with the FL. I wondered why the FL CHWE was set to end early. That usually is reserved for the last event of the FL season. I even mentioned to someone yesterday how odd that was when the FL season timer still showed 4 days left.
I play this game to relax, not to create extra work for myself counting medals and trying to figure out if the game timers are correct. We trust that these things are correct or that we would be notified if displays are not correct. That is what bothers everyone so much. A mistake was made yet we were not notified which makes what happened even worse. Lots of us wasted time going for a better medal which was then never handed out. A little communication with the players (customers) and most of us would have understood. We may not have been overjoyed to hear the news but at least we could have stopped playing in respect to the FL.
This was just a little thing and really does not matter in the long run. It is the lack of communication which leads to frustration that turns it into a bigger thing and upsets everyone. A little communication goes a long way when a mistake is made and lack of communication seems to be a repetitive theme on forum for at least the past few years if not longer.

The response from the Team is this: "it was decided that we leave the FL as it is, players had the double payout, so there will be no additional payout until the event ends. It means tonight as well there will be no medal payout, the event is technically over".
