Player could not be found - after name change

ok..what gives? When i try to send a message to a certain player in my coop i get this message. I know u get this if player has been inactive for a while but this is definitely not the case here. Same message appears if i try a search via rankings tab or when visiting some other farm. Also, other members cannot reach this player either. Same message.

    @DoomDark (INT1)  This latest update gave us the ability to change our username. Is it possible that your member may have changed their username? That would explain why you can't find the player.

    I think FarmerJohn has hit the nail on the head as we have another report of this.

    @DoomDark (INT1)  which names shows when you send the message ?

    can you provide screenshots in a DM to  me ( (other members names cannot be shown here in the forum) showing your co-op member list and what you see when you send a message

    This is to help track the problem down

    Hi. It seems there was a player name change, but it took several days before it updated on the coop member list.Now all works as it should be.

    @DoomDark (INT1)  the information of the 2 names would still be useful for troubleshooting.

    Though you will no longer be able to give screenshots

    how long before everything is synchronissed

    still old names in coop listing and on chat, dream and events new name

    very frustrating. every update is a crime and in profit for bf.

    try this

    change name - leave coop - join again

    new name is oke

    @visboer (NL1) The only problem with this workaround is that once the member leaves the coop, their record of gold and farmdollars contributed to the cooperative is deleted. As a coop leader, I like to be able to see how much a member has donated.  :)

    That's true, I agree that it will be ridiculous when the donation/contribution history is lost.


     The team is aware about this, and we will let you know once we have further updates.

    Today I accidentally found out that when I visited the farm of a player that changed its name, the farm does have the new name at the top. And when you return to your own farm, the playerlist contains the new name too.
    BUT.....only for a short while. It changes back to the old name within a few minutes.

    And when I then visited the farm of the changed player again, the farmname has also gone back to the old name, so the trick only works once and only for a short time.

    When clearing cache and relogging, the trick works again.....still only for a short time.
    I got pictures of the player self and there everything is changed.
