A long time ago, there was a snowman named Aspen. He was a blacksmith just like his father and his father's father. He used tools like the Forge, Anvil, tongs, and blacksmiths vice. He lived in a small western themed winter and a snowy village called the "ghosts" town. It was a town where everyone helped each other out and everyone had a specific job. There were farmers that would sell their crops every weekend, ranchers that would sell and show their livestock at the rodeo all the time, blacksmiths that would sell their tools to everyone, and so many more. Everyone lived in a small little cottage or ranch house and there was no such thing as big condos or apartments. They would go to bars late at night to talk and have discussions for hours upon hours. Everyone snowman knew each other and they all loved it in their little town until an evil group of aliens from another universe with tons of weapons and an endless amount of apparatus attacked this small little winter-western themed village to take over their town. These aliens had engineers that could tank, huge aircraft with the massive fuselage, heat sensors, radars, and they even had enough intelligence to build and construct massive weapons. It's almost like they had read millions of dictionaries on weaponry. They had built anything you could ever need to use. The poor little "ghost" town was attacked. The snow people of "ghost" town could not figure out two things, one why these aliens were coming after them and two how the aliens were so powerful. They later found out that the aliens had integrated with many other aliens to form one big group. The snowman and snowwoman of "ghost" town could not figure out what to do and their snowy mayor was more of an advisory mayor and didn't know what to do either. Luckily this invasion had happened to other people in the past and the Blacksmith named Aspen knew exactly what to do. He moved all of the citizens in the entire snowy village to another snowy town and named the town Aspen Colorado. He later became the mayor of Aspen Colorado and received all of the feedback from the citizens on how to make the town even better. The aliens attacked many more towns, and all of the people escaped and went to Aspen Colorado. That is why it is such a well-developed city to this day. All of the other winter towns attacked by the aliens were later called ghost towns after the original Ghost Town that Aspen used to live in. The aliens have since found another planet to attack and will not be coming back to Earth anytime soon. That is why there are fewer and fewer ghost towns every year. Although there is no siting of the aliens in over 150 years we always have to make sure that they don't come back anytime soon and be prepared for if they do.

    THE END!! :)))

Fawna Day was in the process of looking for a Apartment  and wanted to be in one and have it set up before christmas came, she had just graduated college with the Intelligence  to be a Engineer but her real dream was to ride her stallion in the upcoming Rodeo , only that was just that a dream or in another part of her  Universe for another time.
She  also had a hobby where she would dabble here and there in the pages of her writing tablet, she liked to write mini stories and that would relax her when she got stressed from work, she would look up word's in her Dictionary or she would have Discussions with her professor's & friends in order to get any Feedback to be able to come up with a topic that she wanted to write bout, in turn she would give advisory help to anyone who would ask for her advice as well.
She had finally found a place to call home  it had a lovely view and a big yard,  so she decided that she needed to add in a few things like  some pieces of furniture and of course a christmas tree, she decided to go do a little christmas shopping and ended up at the town mall where she noticed a tiny little christmas tree shop selling not only Big tree's but tiny ones as well , she looked around and also came across a huge fusalage of a manger which took up a big portion of the floor in the side room, while she kept looking she came across bales of hay and the fixing's for completing the Manger with the character's as well , she asked the shop owner if everything could be delivered and he said of course it can so she decided right then and there to buy it all , she then bought a few ornaments & garland for the Tree she had decided to get as well, when she got back to her new home she had the delivery men place the manger in her front yard,  it was a  good thing they had the apparatus to move it around to where she wanted it .
while she was busy getting everything all set up , she noticed someone staring at her from behind the fence in her yard, she did not feel alarmed but instead she smiled cause it was Toby from next door  they had met and clicked instantly, He was a blacksmith and used all kinds of tools even a Anvil ,  she was happy to see him cause he was definitely on her radar the moment she met him, he asked if she needed any help and she had told him only if he would bring the hot chocolate for afterwards , he smiled and decided right then that he would integrate into her family one day cause she was it for him, and they would tell their grandchildren how they met one day.

                                                                     The end

This is a story about a little girl and her favorite time of the year, Christmas!!!
Her name was Isabella but everybody called her Bella
She loved Christmas so much!!!  and couldnt wait for Santa Claus to visit her house. She didnt care that her brothers made fun of her and told her Santa wasn't real. She didnt believe them. She knew!!!
One day she would go visit him. That was her dream, to see Santa Claus and prove to her brothers that he was real afterall.
And finally that day came. Her parents planned for Christmas a trip to Santa Claus village. Everybody was happy for this trip and Bella couldn't be more exited. She was a little afraid at the beggining. Never flown by plane before ,she wondered if the fuselage can brake in two but her exitement for the trip made her to forget it.
When they got there, they went to the place they would be staying, a beautiful wooden house with a fireplace and decorated with so many christmas lights... Bella fell in love with the place, not like the apartment she was living in.
She saw her brothers outside playing snowball fight but she wanted to start the tour around the village. She didn't mind the cold or that it was snowing. She wanted to see everything!
They went for ice skating, they visited the Elf's farmyard with every animal you could think and reindeers of course. reindeers where everywhere. They even had a rodeo with reindeers , who could believe that? But Bella's favorite was the reindeer ride they took. She loved every minute of it .
It was time for a break and a hot chocolate. Her brothers got bored and wanted to take a ride with the snowmobils. Their parents agreed but told them to take Bella with them. That got them furious, they didnt want her with them and Bella didnt either but they had no choice.
Their parents told them to be careful and the manager of the park that was in charge of the snowmobiles explained all the security rules and regulations and told them to pay attention to the road signs but...  when their ride started, they were all so busy arguing that no one saw they missed the turn. They kept going into the forest but no one realised they were outside of the village boundaries until it was too late. It started to snow heavily. The two brothers panicked and tried to turn back but they couldnt find their tracks cause of the snow. Bella vainly shouted to stay right there like the manager had explained to them. He told them if anything happened to stay put and open the snowmobile's tracking device. They had a radar and they would find them but her brothers didnt listen to her (as always) so they kept going and going and all they succeeded was to go deeper into the forest.
Suddenly... the snowmobile stopped. Bella got mad with her brothers but tried to calm herself down. Now was the time to activate the tracking device but... when they tried, they couldn't. It did not work. it seemed like nothing worked. The lights, the engine (although it had fuel) nothing at all. They couldn't explain what was happening and night had already fallen. They got caught between the hammer and the anvil, either stay there (with no chance someone to find them) or try to find a way out of this forest.
It kept snowing so they decided against the manager's advisory to leave their vehicle. No one was talking , they were just walking not knowing where to exactly.
They kept going and going... and going.... and going.... and going.... they lost track of time
Suddenly.. they saw a light. There was someone standing infront of them with a lantern, someone...that looked too small for a man. He was dressed in green and had (wait.. what?) pointly ears?? and a pointy hat??
    is that.. an Elf??
Bella started laughing and shouting  "Yes!!! I knew it!!!" and run towards the elf but the two brothers were speechless, couldn't make a move. Just stayed there with their mouth open!
He intoduced himself as Aldon and told them to follow him , if they didnt want to end up snowmen
They all did until they reached a trail of trees they couldnt pass through. But somehow the Elf did. it was like the trees saw him, raised their branches and opened a trail for them to pass. It was unbelievable.
They kept walking through the trees and the trail behind them kept closing.  And then they saw it. A gate!
Aldon welcomed them to Santa Claus home. They just couldnt believe their eyes!!!
Only Bella wasn't at all surpised, kept telling them "I told you so, I told you so". Aldon told them he was Santas right hand and explained to them why their snowmobile stopped working. They couldn't take the risk to be found so if anyone happened to end up so deep in this forest (which was extremely rare) they had developed a system that made all devices near their village stop working. That explained why no one could find this place really. it was so well hidden.
What short of appartus does this system requires, the three kids didnt know. All they knew was that they were fascinated of their technology and inteligence when at the same time this place was so traditional and with such a warm atmosphere. They went to Santas workshop. Wow!!! how many toys there. How many elves! The elves kept working without paying attention to the three kids.
And then Santa came to the work shop and Bella run to him and to his hug. His laughter was so big!!! He turned and looked at the two boys.
'So you are the ones that keep teasing your little sister  ?" he told them. The boys couldnt even speak and then Santa started singing ...
"He sees you when you're sleeping, He knows when you're awake , He knows if you been bad or good so be good for goodness sake ........" and laughed  :)
He showed the kids his home , his workshop, his office and finally took them to his sled with his reindeers, he even let them get on the sled. It made them so happy!
He was very patient with them and answerd all their questions how he manages to give in time all the presents. He told them that a good engineer must integrate his customer demands into his plans. so Santas engineer did exactly that. For starters he inserted a dictionary and a transalator so Santa would be able to understand every language the minute he entered the country and he also had a computer in his sled .Santa explained to them that his elves made all the calculations on how many kids a country had and how many gifts he should give and sent all the feedback to the sled's compurter . Along with the magical speed of his sled, thats how he managed to travel around the universe and make all these kids happy.
They returned to Santa's house to eat murshmallows and drink hot chocolate. Oh! the discussions they had with him, how many stories he had to share from his traveling. They had such a wonderfull time but... everything comes to an end. Eventually they had to get back. The elves helped them return home and the two brothers never again made fun of their sister! and Christmas became everybodys favorite time ot the year!

Hoped you like my christmas story! <3

Wait! What? Shut the front door!!   I won! I really won! I am going to the North Pole for a Winter Holiday! The radio announcers voice crackled as he read out the winners to sit on the ADVISORY Board for the Christmas Festivities planning committee. My creativity, and maybe a pinch of INTELLIGENCE placed me in charge of planning the Reindeer RODEO Parade. I raced to my APARTMENT to hurriedly pack my suitcase. At the airport, I took a window seat in the FUSELAGE and settled in to sleep on the long flight!  Stretching & yawning, I opened my eyes and saw a red glow in the distance. I soon found out it was Rudolph’s nose glowing bright, a brilliant RADAR indicating the landing strip in the blustery blizzard. Excitedly, I bundled up warmly and raced to the planning hall where I was meeting the other members of the team.  We jumped right into planning. Santa playfully told Mrs. Clause to not get her tinsel in a tangle, everything would be fine.  Dasher led DISCUSSIONS on float decorations that would sparkle with icicles.  Cupid courageously planned to INTEGRATE Mount Crumpet and Whoville residents for one big float.  We all relaxed with hot cocoa and listened to Frosty's FEEDBACK on music for the parade. The Majority wanted European Star Singers, Irish Wren Boys, and ANVIL, the Canadian heavy metal band. Elf ENGINEERs busied themselves with building a snow machine. This Blowing APPARATUS would be placed on the last float in the parade. On into the night we planned. We all cheered this would be the best Christmas Parade in the whole UNIVERSE. We finished up the night with Doner grabbing his DICTIONARY for a fun game of Christmas Pictionary.

    The Unforgettable Surprise

Once upon a time the tiniest elf in the whole universe whose name is Itty.  The other elves sneered at him and tossed him into the corner.  After all, he was just too little to be of any use.  So Itty took it upon himself to devise a peculiar apparatus for a secret scheme by Christmas time.  He just had to prove to himself that he was indeed filled with intelligence and could be a resourceful engineer.

On the 1st of December. Itty arose extra early and descended the long stairs of his apartment and crept very quietly to Santa’s Workshop where he pulled and tugged on the huge anvil. He was finally able to move it to a back closet where he could work in silence.  He found bits of tin, silver & nickel and pounded and molded them into strong and beautiful sparkling strands, beads, and bands to integrate them into his project.

All of a sudden, Itty heard the clanging bell.  He knew he had only seconds to hide his project and run to the emergency meeting that Santa was calling in the conference room.  Itty dreaded these meetings because the discussions always ended up in situations resembling a “rodeo” where all the elves jumped and spun around in a tizzy and everybody shouting ideas at the top of their lungs.  Itty had no idea what they were talking about so borrowed the dictionary from the conference room bookshelf to figure out what in the world the words meant.  So much for Santa’s Advisory Board! But the feedback must have satisfied Santa, because he ended the meeting with a smile.  Everybody went back to work.

Later in the afternoon, all the elves rushed to the dining area to munch down on crumpets and hot tea, all, except Itty and no one really cared that Itty did not join them.  After all, he was not as smart as they were.  Itty gave some excuse for not wanting tea and then rushed back to the little closet in the secret part of the workshop and worked away. Itty worked and worked like this day after day.

Poor little Itty was so exhausted he thought he’d end up in the mortuary before he had it finished, but with sheer determination he kept on going until it was finally completed.  It was going to be tricky to get his surprise installed onto the sleigh because of the security system Santa had installed the previous year.  The thought that his plan was actually going to work delighted him to no end.

The day before Christmas, Santa called all the elves to stand before him.  Santa smiled at every one but little ole Itty.  All the elves had worked so hard on all the gifts for the children.  All that is, but Itty. You see when Itty tried to help, the other elves shoved him out of their way, but of course Santa did not know that.  Itty knew Santa was displeased since he believed that Itty had been lazy .  Itty did not care because his surprise would erase all Santa’s displeasure.

After all the bags of gifts were loaded into the sleigh and the reindeer harnessed and hooked up ready to fly, Santa climbed aboard.  Suddenly Santa noticed something very odd attached to his sleigh.  He examined more closely and saw that it was a specially designed fuselage to help him fly faster than ever before.  The tiny tag attached read: “To Santa, Love Itty”.  Santa beamed happily at Itty and asked him how he got passed the security radar to attach the speedy device to the sleigh.  Itty just smiled and smiled and laughed to himself.  He knew there was something special about being the tiniest elf in the whole world!  All the other elves jumped and clapped and sang. And now Itty was the very happiest tiniest elf.  He had made Santa happy!

"Oh my." said Santa Claus, pacing back and forth behind his desk.
Santa was worried. Worried about the children all over the world. Everyone
knows that Santa can tell when a child has been naughty or nice, but few people
know that Santa can also tell when a child is happy or sad. And Santa now knew
that millions of children around the world were very sad indeed.
It was June in the year 2020, a strange and difficult time for all, but
especially hard for the little boys and girls who didn't understand why they couldn't
go to school and play with their friends or visit their grandparents who they loved
so dearly. Something must be done, thought Santa.
So he called all the elves together, and after long discussions, it was soon agreed by all that they
would go all out and do whatever it took to give the children of the world the best Christmas in history!
But there was one elf who wasn't at the meeting, because no one told him about it. His name was
Kelvin. Now Kelvin was no ordinary elf, he was an elf engineer who designed and built fantastic toys that
kids just loved to play with. Kelvin was an outcast from the other elves because he always spoke in
technical terms that none of them could understand. They even sometimes called him a "Geek" behind
his back. Kelvin heard the whispers from the others and it made him sad, but he refused to let it distract
             him from his important work.
Kelvin had his own Workshop and was never happier than when he was tinkering with some gizmo
or gadget, surrounded by all his various scientific apparatus. He worked and worked until he could
barely keep his eyes open, then climbed the stairs to his apartment above the Workshop and tumbled
into bed. He did this day in and day out because his work was so important, which he called
"Project Anvil". And he was close to completing it! Hooray!
Meanwhile the rest of the elves were busy in the Toy Shop, building toys at lightning speed! They
worked with sheer delight at the thought of bringing millions of little boys and girls around the world
their best Christmas ever! My friends, you'll find no words in the dictionary that can adequately
describe an elf's overwhelming love of children, that's a fact.
The months passed quickly as Summer became Fall, and Fall gave way to Winter. The date was
now December 21st. Christmas was almost here! The elves were finished with all the presents with 3
days to spare! Santa was very proud of how hard the elves had worked and he gave them a rousing
speech to shower them with praise! The elves all cheered and sang Christmas songs and danced with
glee and all of Toyland was filled with Christmas joy!
Santa gave the elves a well deserved break so they would be well rested and ready when the time
came to load his sleigh with the many presents it would carry. Santa then set about to the task of
polishing his sleigh, and soon it gleamed brightly. As he was finishing up, an elf named Boros came
running up at a furious pace. Boros was the elf in charge of tending to Santa's herd of flying
reindeer. Boros stopped short in front of Santa, gasping for breath. "What's wrong, Boros?", asked
Santa. "Oh Santa", Boros gasped, "I have some terrible news! Your reindeer team are sick! They all have
              the Virus!."
" The Virus!" shouted Santa, "Are they alright?", for Santa dearly loved his reindeer.
" Oh certainly, Santa.", said Boros, " Flying reindeer are the most magical creatures in the universe, with
remarkable recuperative powers. I expect them to fully recover with no ill effects, but I had no choice but
to place them into quarantine for two weeks to keep them from infecting the entire herd!"
"Two weeks!", cried Santa, " But Christmas is almost here now! What a disaster! I'll have to cancel
Christmas! The poor children will be devastated!"
And so with his heart filled with sorrow, Santa called the elves together and gave them the
terrible news. There is nothing on earth as sad as a group of elves hugging each other as they weep and
wail in dismay, and Santa was heartbroken at the sight. Then from the crowd, one single solitary elf
stepped forward and approached Santa. He didn't seem the least bit upset, which puzzled him.
" Why are you smiling, Kelvin?", Santa asked.
" Because I bring glad tidings, Santa!", said Kelvin. "Allow me to show you my greatest invention!"
Kelvin then pulled a small device from his pocket and tapped a button. A loud rumble made everyone turn
towards the source of the sound, Kelvin's Workshop. A huge door in the side opened and from it emerged
an enormous machine that looked like a cross between a spaceship and a fighter jet and quite beautiful
to behold. It's bright red fuselage sparkled under the midnight sun as it floated over the snowy ground
before landing gently next to Kelvin. Everyone was awestruck!
" Santa, this ship", began Kelvin, "will carry you and all the presents for the children on your trip around
the world! This ship has a very powerful computer with a brain! I was able to integrate Artificial
Intelligence into both GPS and radar navigation systems with continuous feedback from an array of
proximity sensors that encircle the ship. The computer will also display any weather advisory
transmissions that are broadcast. I've also taken the liberty of downloading your list of names of nice
boys and girls along with the precise GPS locations of their homes into the ship's computer. This makes
the ship fully autonomous!  Finished speaking, Kelvin stood smiling from pointed ear to pointed ear.
"Autonomous? You mean to tell me that this thing flies itself?!", said Santa, stunned.
                     "Absolutely, Santa!", replied Kelvin.
"But will it work?", asked Santa, doubtful.
Kelvin chuckled and said, "Of course it will. I've tested everything and it works flawlessly! This ain't my
first rodeo, Santa.", he added with a wink.
Hearing this, Santa turned to his elves and shouted, "My elvin friends, Kelvin has come to our
rescue! Christmas is saved! You may now begin loading the presents!".
"Yaaaay!", the elves cheered, and scampered off to begin the task.
And so it was that on Christmas Eve, Santa climbed aboard his new ship and waved goodbye to his elves
as it rose upward and flew swiftly out of sight.
From that day forward the elves never again called Kelvin a "Geek". He was an outcast no more, but
a beloved hero of the elf community. <3

As his ship streaked across the polar night sky on it's historic voyage, Santa shouted a joyous message
to the heavens that was heard around the world! (To view Santa's message, click on SHOW button below)

I am sorry you don't like your winter flag. I know that there are others who have been wanting something like that for a long time and it is a "dream come true" for them.

Oh thank you thank you thank you!  I love my prizes!  And oh that flag is so very perfect!  I have been wanting one like that for a while.  I live in the mountains where fir trees abound and so that new flag will look so wonderful on my farm.  Thank you so much!  :D

I didnt mean it as an offence, I am sorry you took it as one.
I won many presents from these contests and I appreciate every one of them

I just thought ... to make a suggestion, cause we can only place one flag at a time ,why have them in our storage and not make a better use of them like santas workshop
the flags are rare (like you said) so everyone that has some flags (and players that play for years have collected many) that could mean a very good donation to give a high quality
that was my intesion when I mentioned the flag . I took it as an opportunity to write a thought of mine

and thank you for letting me know my post made you believe I felt displeased
I didnt think that my words would be misinterpreted cause never once did I mention I dont want one
I never expressed  a dissatisfaction ... only a suggestion and I would never be so ungrateful to deny a present
thank you again and sorry for any confusion
    Happy Holidays to you all!

Thank you , & Congat's to everyone, :) I still wish that I could of gotten a Badge as well, since this will be the first  Holiday for the end of this  yr that  I do not get one, :(, I am not happy bout that nope, so 2019 is the last Xmas Badge most of Us get, only the people who was able to do that snow flake contest  get's one? that is not fair at all I think, but again thanks for this contest, stories were wonderful, everyone did awesome on them, I also needed that flag so I am happy bout that at least, and no I am not saying that we should get the same badge, but at least a Xmas one for 2020.

Did you enter the Snowflake contest?  There was a badge for that one and it was a "Holiday" themed contest.

Thank you for bringing clarity to your comments and your apology is accepted.  We always appreciate suggestions especially when they are done formally in the "Suggestion" section of the Forum. :)

I know about the "suggestion" section but the flag came up and I just grabbed the opportunity
but you are right , it is not the corect place to write about it, I will do it in suggestion section  :)

Good! That Suggestion section is the right place. This is where we can determine if it is a popular idea.

No I could not enter that contest cause I have no clue how to even do any of that, therefore I was one of  many players that  had to pass that contest up, Badges should of been awarded for a few of the contests not just the one in My opinion, so because I was unable to do that 1 contest, I won't get a badge for 2020?  so now My last Badge for Xmas is 2019, not happy bout that at all.

I am so sorry, the CMs who design the badges are all on holiday until after the lst week of January.  It is just too late to backtrack.  Maybe next year we can get something ahead of time.  I had no idea that you expected badges for every contest.  I don't always have badges with the contests that host. I am checking to see if it is requirement that all contests have a badge.

If you only add a badge to only 1 contest and the player's are unable to do that one contest, then how are they going to get a badge for that Holiday for that  yr ? that was My point I was trying to make, the problem is that I will not have a Badge now for yr 2020 for Xmas when I was here for it, I would of thought that the people who make the badges would of done so for Xmas before they went on Holiday Vacation, but thanks for looking into it.

I never mentioned anything about doing a badge for this contest.  Badges are meant for special accomplishments and are supposed to be rare.  My special surprise for this event was the Winter Tree flag.  Badges will not be a part of every contest only a very few of them.  I am sorry to disappoint you.

the Badge's We got for the holiday's are not suppose to be rare, so are  you saying that the Badges we got from yrs past we were not suppose to get?, cause Everyone got a holiday Badge that I am aware of, so I guess We as player's will no longer get Holiday Badges , yup ok thank you  for the info.
