Decorations - Demolish or Dismantle?

Is there a rule of thumb about which decos to demolish for money or to dismantle for parts?  I'm totally lost here.  I don't know what to do with all of my decos in inventory.

    One thing you can do is to first make sure you have a building slot available as well as a free area in which to build decos from inventory. (Note you get XPs for building them) Once built, you can place them into storage. This will free up room for new decos. Then when Gretta the Landscape Architect is at your farm (she drives a medium-dark blue truck) You can get her to help you dismantle unwanted decos for parts that then can be used to upgrade your more valuable deocos that have been placed on your farms.  Having better decos increases the happiness on your farms which then in turn reduces the amount of costs for farming.  I am doubtful you can sell the decos for farm dollars, especially while Gretta the Landscape Architect is at the farms (which she is now).  But if you really need the farm dollars you can demolish the ones you built and get cash for it. So it really depends upon your needs: Immediate cash or reduced expenses in farming costs.  I hope this helps.  :D

    @CookieFarmer9 (US1) What @ChickadeeQuilter has said above is very true. What one must not forget however is "Happiness per Square Occupied". The higher that ratio is the better you are making use of Value for Space.

    Examples: A Happiness Level 30 decor on a 3x3 plot = 3.33 happiness per square
                     A Happiness Level 50 decor on a 3x3 plot = 5.55 happiness per square

    Formula is: Happiness level / squares occupied = HPS (Happiness per Square) and as space is a very costly expense every saving adds up in the end.

    To buy all the land on your various farms will cost you a total of $9 192 706 800.

    MF & GF = $2 755 193 400 each or $655 998 per tiny square.
    FF = $3 682 320 000 or $920 580 per tiny square.

    Take the time to arrange your farm to avoid dead spaces, recycle poor quality decor & upgrade the better decor with those parts.

    Saving dead space is saving money & more productive.
