Where do you buy Flags?

Where does one buy a flag? I have never had the need or desire to do so but was asked this question in our coop.

    @Fallen (INT1)  I haven't seen anywhere that a flag is offered for sale. They're earned by completing certain events, like it states. If you don't complete the event in time, it does give you the option to pay in gold to finish the event and get the flag. That could be what they mean by buying them. :)

    There are sometimes in game offers to buy them with gold

    Some can be won and some are awarded for, for instance, taking part in the 7th Anniversary  celebrations

    To add up with what Rosy and Farmerjohn has told, you can buy some flags when they are their on sale for gold, I think UK server or the US server had such an offer before.

    I remembered in the past we had national flags available for sale under "Favorite offers". I did some digging in our dusty archives and found it. Rather pricey. ;)

    The flags can be bought & or earned through certain events. Some are a 1 time thing - like the birthday flags - if u didn't an account way back then - 2012 - then U've already missed out on some - like the 1st year flag on my Main farm letting folks know that I joined the game with in the first year of it coming out to the USA server's.

    Last event, that made up country flags up for sale, was the Soccer event , if i remember correctly :)
