Marketplace Walkers repeating

For every order I fill from the kind folks standing in the street in front of the Marketplace/Organic market, I get a new batch of the exact same number of people. This is great if all I want to do is sit here and click on people's heads, but it's not.
 The faster you fill the orders, the higher is your commission ( the tag on top of the smiley face), but this makes it impossible. Except for the sunflower orders, I do need to attend to other things . This happens only on Main Farm.
Is this  intentional or a glitch?  Making me feel like a drug dealer lmao.

    I've had that happen too but on the Flower Farm

    You aren't obliged to fulfil the contracts, I often don't, especially the demands for fertilser, and after a period of time they go away and someone else will eventually come along

    Just ignore them for a while
